- Clarification ~ Health Drinks heal 25 damage, First Aid Kits heal 50 damage, Ampoules heal 100 damage. Heather's health bar is equal too 100 points of damage. Also, forgiving the woman in the booth is 1000 points (which is why you want to forgive the woman when going for this ending).

There's some bonus information at the top of the description. The respawn glitch works for all enemies you did not kill. So if you killed the Closers on the roof or the nurses on the 1st floor before going through M2, they won't respawn.
About those respawning nurses. Returning in the hall will respawn ALL monsters in a whole damn hospital, not just two nurses. Even closers will reapper on the roof.
Pretty cool, right? You can also make the monsters in Hilltop respawn by exiting the building, returning to the construction sight, then returning to Hilltop again. But that's not as useful or as easy to explain as the Hospital grind.

Beat the game on hard mode for the health bar.

Im playing hd collection, that nurses respawn will work as long as I dont kill those nurses from that hall right? Need to get 333 kills in my second playthrough . Also read about another infinite respawn in the building, before entering that window. Apparently those annoying flying enemies will keep spawning if you keep coming in and out, havent tried it so I'm not sure
Hey I also have the hd collection which really sucks, have you gotten the achievement for getting across the lake in a minute 20? For sh2? I haven't been able to get close like i need 20 seconds shaved off
@@The80Kat haven't tried SH HD Collection for SH2 only for SH3
On hard mode you rotate the left analog stick, then start rotating both sticks after James does the 3rd row. Basically just start rotating both sticks slightly before he rows the left one a 4th time.
On normal and easy mode, just go right until you see the light then hold forward.
Switch "walk" to "run" in the menu. The boat goes faster that way.
@@RuminInLove does it have to be hard mode? Because the rotating the sticks does not work on normal and I'm playing on Xbox if that matters. He will not move the boat rotating the sticks

What happens if you DON'T forgive the woman?
The reason why I ask is because I haven't played Silent Hill 3 in ages.
If you don't forgive the woman then Heather doesn't say anything; the game just cuts back to gameplay without a transition cutscene.
I've also read once that I can't take that notebook from douglas that is on the weird house on amusement park,the same room where the mask is, I've done this ending years ago, so I don't really remember anything. So,can I take as much damage as I want to? As long as I have health supplies of course,cause I also read that I can only take an specific amount of damage or the ending wouldn't work, so I did all I read I needed to do and did this ending on hard mode with normal guns,cause I also read that extra guns wouldn't make the ending work either, only doing it on this harder way was when I got the ending.
Almost everything in this comment is wrong. Any amount of damage over 4000 points will give you the possessed ending. Forgiving the woman in the booth grants 1000 points. That's it.
@@RuminInLove that's strange, cause I did all you did the first time and didn't get the possessed ending, then when I did what I said I got it, and the first time I killed as many enemies as the second time, so I really don't know '-'
I'll try it as you said the next time, it's been years since the last time I played sh 3.
Do you have to take damage in final boss or can you just kill kill kill instead to rack up points?
All 4000 points can be done by simply killing enemies, but you'd have to kill a lot of enemies! The infinite nurse exploit would definitely be needed.

in what level can we have the possessed ending?
The Chapel. Defeat the final boss and the Possessed ending should play before the credits. Just get 4000 points throughout the course of the game (by killing enemies and taking damage) like instructed in the video. Also forgive the woman in the booth as that also adds points. Also needs to be on Extra New Game.
i tried this ending today and at the credits screen it said i only killed around 50 enemies even though i killed waay more did my game mess up or could i have done something wrong?
Maybe you loaded the wrong save at some point, and you only killed 50 from whatever save you loaded from?

I don't know then. Enemies should die when they make their death sound. Pendulums sometimes don't count towards the total kill count, but besides that the ranking screen is usually pretty consistent. Maybe a glitch.

Can you be a little more clear on how much damage you need?
Heather's full health bar= 100 points of damage.
