I absolutely love the outfit you’re wearing in the bikini part of the video! The headband, earring, blouse and denim are so perfectly 90s minimalism.
@@cathanne2216 omg aw thank you!!!!!!!
Jordy, you need to crush the beads where you want to hem your wraparound skirt. The one you finished is really pretty.
@@Ellzy1 omg!!!! thank you so much for this!!!! i will be researching how to do that now 🤣🤣🤣💖 thank you!!!
@@cupofjordy you’re very welcome!! ☺️
As for sewing that fabric with the beads, I’ve seen people hammer them, to break the beads along the part they are sewing. It seems to help so maybe try that cuz that fabric was gorgeous 😍😍
the way i learned how to sew fabric w sequins or beading is to remove the sequins or whatever from the seam. if you want u can hand sew them back on after u sew it. u also could try iron on hem tape or maybe stichwitchery if you r just finishing a hem and can iron the fabric
So good, Jor! Also that blue in the intro clip is YOUR COLOR my girl
The wrap would also look great over a midi or long skirt as an extra layer ❤
So for that beaded fabric, the part that you cut off (that didn't have the beads) was what you could have used for the seam/hem. Alternatively, another way that people usually sew with beaded fabric is that you mark with a fabric marker where the seam is going to be and then with a hammer, (wearing eye protection), you smash the beads that will be in the way of the seam. That way you create a bead-free path on which to sew with your sewing machine.
Girllll that sound at the pause part scared the shite outta me 💀😂
I love everything you made! Very cute!!
Yes we definitely want more🥰🥰
Loved your outfits in this one! And the bikini top is so cute for the beach! Love it, great job
I really liked the wrap diy to wear over jeans 👖 also, I do wish you had a knee length version too because it looks so cool😊

Living for the earrings! They look like they’re actually from anthropology!!!

@@lauren5314 that is the best compliment!!! thank you so much aww!!
Love the vid!
Where is the blouse you’re wearing to make the bikini tee from?
Such a great video, these projects are really cute! Just some advice when it comes to sewing with tulle (you can totally take this or leave it), you don't need to hem it, because usually tulle/ netting doesn't fray. I also find it easier to sew with tough fabrics if I sandwich them between craft paper. That way the craft paper is on the outside with the feed dogs and presser foot and the tulle is on the inside, just make sure to pin/ glue/tape the paper to the fabric. Hope this helps!
Truly since the beaded fabric is mesh you don’t need to hem it at all!
Couldn't you hem the fabric the same as you did with the earrings? So you're only doing it on the very edge?? ❤
