I know you posted this 4years ago, but I'm just seeing it now. You have invested a lot of time in money into this collection, and it shows. It's beautiful.
I watched this twice. It's all so beautiful and I’m sure it’s been very rewarding for you to read and own all of these. This has inspired me to start my own collection.
Very good collection I am building my library as well . Some of this books will cost you an arm and a leg . The great Gatsby is selling for 300+ on eBay . Is insane the one with the nice color leather and the entire collection from the edition is selling for 2000+ ....
I must say, this is an extraordinarily beautiful set of books. Unfortunately they would not be appropriate for my home's decor. It would be like putting silk stockings on a rooster. I have compromised and filled my shelves with International Collector's Library classics which smack of elegance in a deceptive _what they don't know won't hurt them_ disguise and my whole collection probably cost less than two of the books on your shelf. [EDIT] I do however plan to replace my books with Easton Press volumes when I win the lottery (which should be any day now) and display them in the oak-paneled library of the mansion I will acquire. To replace them now would seriously compromise my ability to feed myself in the manner in which I have become accustomed.
You have a beautiful library, a beautiful collection, and you have wonderful taste. Thank you for making a video. I'm thinking about making a video for my library, I don't have anywhere near the amount of folio society or Easton press but I do have a little amount. I have a lot of the Barnes and Noble leather bound covers of classics, well it might not be real leather but they are pretty, but great video!
Great collection. I would like to see: FS Metamorphoses, it would be interesting to see Russian book 3:19, Bible 7:08, FS Grimm's Fairy Tales and last Homer 11:57. Also, next time use landscape mode 😉
i noticed jeckyll and hyde, notes from the underground and i think the stranger were all shelved upside down, any particular reason. btw, i'm quite sure my live is diseased, but i'm not going to the doctor
Oh cool! I didn't know Easton Press did 12 Years A Slave. Could you be kind enough to tell me if the edition has illustrations and if the illustrations include Northup's engineering feats (rivercraft, fish trap) and the mill he described in the book?
How it cost in us/uk? I have checked in their website, the cheapest one comes at between 85 to 100 dollars... Which is very costly for me (in India).... Comparing of this, in India a average quality book comes at near about 15 to 20 dollar....😟😟😟😟😟😟 I want the Hp lovecraft collection from eston press but they don't deliver in India (according to their website)

Beautiful collection
Thank you, you have a fabulous personal library
What a stunning library ... I hate that Easton press doesn't ship to Europe
Wow! That is a treasure of a library. Hope my will one day be as lovely. Thanks for showing it.

Beautiful. I'm slowly building my Easton Press collection. I hope to reach the levels of your library one day!

Lol. Books will feed your soul.

Thank you very much Jake. Good luck with building your library. Keep collecting and keep reading.

Mr. Putler Gollum Thanks! It’s a labor of love. We’ll get around to making videos of those specific books. Thanks for the requests.
I’d love to see more of the deluxe War of the Worlds !
Your collection is best in my opinion but the bookshelf does not match the leather Bound Editions.I expected a Victorian age wooden book self.
i noticed jeckyll and hyde, notes from the underground and i think the stranger were all shelved upside down, any particular reason. btw, i'm quite sure my live is diseased, but i'm not going to the doctor
oh my, how much money did you spent on all of these ? has to be more than twenty thousand USD ?
I wanted to know if the Metamorphosis from Folio comes with any other book like an essay or a commentary volume.
It does not come with a commentary volume but the book itself contains an essay on Titian and Ovid by Michael Prodger. Hope it helps.

It has illustrations but no “engineering feats”.
I have some books that look like this. How do i know what their worth.
See who published the book and search for it on ebay, for starters.

Sorry 2 hear. U can order from ebay, used of course.
Are some of those books in different languages
Yes. Stories by Gogol limited edition and La Dame De Monsoreau Limited 2 volumes edition illustrated by Maurice Leloir
One should never brag until one has at least a 10,000 book personal library.
In your case, one should never speak until he has amassed at least 10,000 brain cells.
So much money spent on books that will most likely never be opened let alone read.. That's 1000% all for show lol
Just because you don't actually read, it doesn't mean other people don't .😂
