Maybe a stupid question, but: Do those Bloomsbury Slipcase editions contain the same text as "regular" editions? Or are they somehow shortened because of all the illustrations?

I know you posted this 4years ago, but I'm just seeing it now. You have invested a lot of time in money into this collection, and it shows. It's beautiful.

Thank you so much for sharing that beautiful book. I always enjoy Mark Twain. A little suggestion if you haven't seen it, I have two of the three books that were released 100 years after Mark Twain died. It talks about his life and other things that he was writing about at the time he died.

Beautiful editions, have both myself

My late mother purchased Treasure Island for me from Easton press years ago. A little side note on Robert Louis Stevenson, I understand he was very sick when he wrote that story with the fever and the flu. There are some people that have argued, that him being ill influenced his thinking on writing that story. I do have a book from Easton press with Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, but it is not as nice as yours. Thank you so much for sharing.

What a beautiful beautiful book 📖 you have. The previous owner had taken very good care of this book. A side comment, Rodan also designed a statue that ended up in New York I read. Don't know if it is still there, but like all his work; it was beautiful.

Love your collection..I’ve watched your library shelf tour a few times now, I would love to see it again with taking off the books on the shelf as you are going through them to see the front and backs of them, even if you have to split videos up, but I would loveeee a long video of that going through all the books on your shelves again lol

Were you covering up the number of your edition for some secret 'collectors' reason? Otherwise, thank you for the look inside. It's a very beautiful edition. Others pale in comparison. I had an opportunity to purchase the unsigned edition but decided to pass for a couple of reasons. Luckily I've been happy with that decision.

I must say, this is an extraordinarily beautiful set of books. Unfortunately they would not be appropriate for my home's decor. It would be like putting silk stockings on a rooster. I have compromised and filled my shelves with International Collector's Library classics which smack of elegance in a deceptive _what they don't know won't hurt them_ disguise and my whole collection probably cost less than two of the books on your shelf. [EDIT] I do however plan to replace my books with Easton Press volumes when I win the lottery (which should be any day now) and display them in the oak-paneled library of the mansion I will acquire. To replace them now would seriously compromise my ability to feed myself in the manner in which I have become accustomed.

Oh cool! I didn't know Easton Press did 12 Years A Slave. Could you be kind enough to tell me if the edition has illustrations and if the illustrations include Northup's engineering feats (rivercraft, fish trap) and the mill he described in the book?

I'm glad to see you do a follow up video. I'm excited to see a closer look at any of them, but I am very interested in seeing The Three Musketeers, Around the World in 80 Days, Hunchback of Notre Dame, The Odyssey and Frankenstein.

Your collection is best in my opinion but the bookshelf does not match the leather Bound Editions.I expected a Victorian age wooden book self.

How it cost in us/uk? I have checked in their website, the cheapest one comes at between 85 to 100 dollars... Which is very costly for me (in India).... Comparing of this, in India a average quality book comes at near about 15 to 20 dollar....😟😟😟😟😟😟 I want the Hp lovecraft collection from eston press but they don't deliver in India (according to their website)
