Is this THE LEGEND of Legends?

  • Brothers, Wayne, Troy and Rick Cornwill have been presenting their trucks to the public and winning awards since the Castlemaine Truck Show of 1994, when their Kenworth K125, ‘Penthouse’ won Rig of the Show. It was still winning in 2005 at Alexandra!
These trucks are not just show ponies, but also lead a working life, hauling steel from the Geelong Port into Melbourne.
Legend SAR, Build #59 rolled off the production line around October of 2022 and was delivered to an address in Bannockburn, past Geelong, Vic. Upon arrival at Cornwill Transport’s home base, Troy and Wayne proceeded to pull the truck apart. Out came the entire interior. Off came, bumpers, guards, lights, steps, walkways and grab rails. Then, and only then did Wayne and Troy (and Rick when available) proceed to rebuild Troy’s ‘dream’ truck - ‘Dynamite’.
Could this truck be THE LEGEND of Legends?

Hi David. I didn't realise it was Gossy's old truck.
You'll see 'The Penthouse', as they call it, again - probably next year. Rick has stripped it back, nut and bolt. Reckon there may be a few more awards to come.
      Cheers for your message. 😀

Another example of a dedicated team.credit to all involved. TNT u say is where you got the idea for the name on the sar. TNT was also known as Trash N Treasure. You must have the treasure part of that mate.

Another great example from the boys. I really like subtle touches on this one. Can’t wait until I get back to have a visit with them next month.

Hi Kermie, I have known the boys for a long time but I live interstate. I did see the truck in January last year before they started working on it. Planning a trip next month to catch with family and friends so I will be able to see it in person. Cheers Geoff.

Well Dave, this video is about a particular KW, not a truck show.
That said, you'll find that most truck shows - certainly the ones I attend (apart from ATHS) - are top heavy with the Kenworth brand.
