Waste of time and money, I’ll stick to my 2021 V6 3.5L TRD Sport with rear leaf springs

Good call. Getting rid of a good 2021 is a waste of money regardless of how good or bad the 2024 is. Keep your 2021 for 15 - 20 years. My 2008 is still going strong after 200k miles.

And it only has 12,000 driven

I would be happy with what you got but the 4 turbo is way better driving. More power on paper and feels way more responsive. The v6 is slow! heavy and slow way underpowered in every way.

Nice video. Thank you. What was the payload on this specific truck per the yellow sticker on the driver doorframe? So far I am disappointed in what I am seeing with payload numbers being around 1200 lbs for the Tacoma. For that matter, I looked at a 2024 Tundra SR5 4WD over the weekend. It only had 1480 lbs of payload. Looked at a GMC Canyon last week that had over 1,600 lbs of payload. Nice!

Here is a link to the owners manual. Based on the info on p. 613 payload on 2wd Double Cab models is 1200 pounds which seems awfully low comparing to up to 1709 that Toyota claimed earlier. This may be for Hybrid models.

Buy a Frontier and save the headache of trying to justify why Toyota turn the Tacoma basically into a soccer mom wannabe truck.

@@Frontier2022 LOL. I like the Frontier, but I have not been impressed with its real world payload for my needs. I will consider one, but I need around 1500 lbs of payload to handle passengers, my camping gear and tongue weight (400 lbs).
