      Not at all. Stop conflating controlled immigration with no immigration at all. There is a sensible and sustainable middle ground but so long as comments like yours get a worrying amount of upvotes, we move ever closer to the day when the real far right (not conservatism) will start to gain real momentum.

    A chap with a south Asian name & practising a south Asian religion being the Prime Minister of Anglo Saxon where Christianity is the state religion is the epitome of multi-culturisim. In monolithic cultures, they would have to change their names, religion, language, food and and just as British Royals have done eg House of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha

      That is racism. Why do you care what our primi ministers name is? Or his religion? He is free to practice any religio of his choice. Your not going to meet him so why do you care? He is not one of your workmates. Christianity is the main religion of UK by default only. Most people 8n the UK have never seen the inside of a church. And where are all these churches for so many people?

      @@user-tk7kz1fl2r why are you triggered? You have not read to understand. The point is Rishi has kept all his South Asian cultural emblems and practises (including name, religion, language, food etc) in an Anglo Saxon-Celtic country and is also risen to be head of government. This is a testament of multiculturalism in operation… and so is Mrs Suella Braverman serving in cabinet who is of South Asian origin and a Bhuddist married to a Practising Jew. So you see her claims that multiculturalism has failed when she is a product of the same are not steeped in reality. Unless she is saying people like her and Rishi getting to the top of British political office is the sign of that failure.

      @annepoitrineau5650 Год назад +2

      Exactly. And I also think that if we want to preserve our culture, we need to be kind and welcoming, to make immigrants want to belong. Thus, we will create loyalty. If we are mean and cruel, we will create resentment, and when they are in a position of power, it will be payback time. Of course, we could argue about the justification for preserving our culture. All cultures rise, and fall...And yet, they also all keep something of the previous cultures. The Romans, the Greeks, the Mayas, the Kingdom of Songhai, the Mongols, the Manchous, the Jomons...We should have learnt over the millenia though, that there is turmoil and suffering, and thus do our best to avoid THAT, not the mingling and influencing.

It also doesn’t help casually using extremist slurs to shut down any dialogue or rational reasonable thought . Maybe this is what he wants , a bit of rabid controversy ? Tell them and me there’s not a problem . James O`Brien. Privately educated, ex landlord. The real voice of the white, upper middle classes.

      James O Brien is educated (seemingly unlike many of the brainwashed who tune into the fountain of hate that is GBNEWS), don’t care where, don’t care how. I am working class and went to a comprehensive school, but at least I learned history and about the rise of fascism in the 1930’s and exactly where that left us.
      Public school Toff or not (James O’Brien doesn’t come across as one like your Jacob Reece Mogg and Boris Johnson’s of this world) At least someone is out there calling out people like Suella Braverman and exposing these people for exactly what they are!

      I can assure you James will not be living in leafy Chiswick in twenty years time , he will have moved to a very white area of the country like the Cotswolds or Cornwall somewhere like that , and from that Ivory tower he will still be hypercritically preaching multiculturalism and how great it is

      @@terrysmith5168 He should see if he can get a berth on Michael Heseltine's 300 acre walled estate.
      They could then further develop the pro immigration double act they started during the referendum.
