      I think you mean Jason Dill got bro money..... Jason was the Godfather of putting all of these kids together putting them on displaying their skills designing all the clothes and merchandise around them dripping them out making them stylish elevating their skating to new levels.. . Let's face it you wouldn't be wearing a Tyshawn /Volcom T-shirt
      People say you can separate the skateboarders from the brands but really you can't it's a symbiotic relationship. and unfortunately they weren't actually putting any pressure on anyone, they are talented skaters but people had the talent scouts skills to make sure that they didn't get gobbled up by unappreciative industry people/// they got put on by actual skater owned companies, these guys kind of blew it though they turned around and sat on the people that opened up their opportunities. Nakel especially man that's such a tragic story, and not only what he did to the Lotties shop, he just ruined ties with hockey and FA, I mean why would you do that? Lottie was tied up with Baker Palace thrasher everyone.. Lottie was looking after a bunch of people at a local shop with real bills, and they went tearing that stuff up. It sucks man like straight up everyone's connected in that industry and they went on a smear campaign classic cancel culture. Imagine if you were a company looking to pick up a free agent you would be looking at all of this online and thinking these guys are trouble. They've got talent but they've got no business etiquette, and the moment they think they are more value to the company they leverage that and when they don't get what they want they end up shitting on the company ruining connective tissues to other companies. They end up becoming their own worst enemy and a liability to themselves, that's why companies part ways with people like this, it's a really good look at businesses done. that the people behind these businesses are literally feeding their families it's their legacy their livelihood and when you start taking food out of another man's mouth that shit ain't cool. disrupting the industry and the people that rely on it for their jobs, I mean look at nudge he works at supreme? And is on baker... why the hell are you so connected to supreme would you dis Lotties tank that business so he has to shut down.... what do you think Andrew Reynolds Spanky Andrew Allen are gonna think about that?. and then you think you can just walk into supreme,,
      I mean I just watch the interview where Nak was saying that he left FA basically with no warning, and then wants to have meetings with them to clear the air and wonders why no one wants to pick up his phone or return his call... because he already did the damage, they didn't get a chance to talk about it or strategise about a rollout plan he just straight up made a destructive decision. And then when he didn't get his callback to talk about shit over dinner which is understandable he'd already done the dirty.... he gets cross tattoo over Fa.... and wonders why supreme dropped him... he's such a liability man, and all of the business aside so hoping that is mental health clears up because he is a true talent in skateboarding. But straight up man he needs a handler, and people can't control control out of control people, they end up doing damage to livelihoods. like I mentioned how many people straight up stopped wearing Lotties stuff after he went on his goofy tirade? Do you know how many Baker boards had all of the Lotties graphics on it?... like when he sat on Lotties he was basically shitting on Andrew Reynolds Spanky anyone on Baker... that's literally a crazy person move.

    That was an interesting moment when Tyshawn touched on nobody at FA doing anything or taking the skating seriously anymore. FA drops awesome videos from time to time. But the fact that we never got a legit full length with the roster they had at its peak will always be a bummer and a bit of a “what if.”

      Yes! 100% Thats where they're lacking. I saw an older interview with Dill talking about how he didn't want them to put out as many videos so that they could leave the fans wanting more and build up the hype for the next part. And I understand what Dill meant, but they never really film anything and now his skaters (Kevin Bradley) are getting lazy lol

    • @paunchcoorlightly4000
      @paunchcoorlightly4000 2 года назад +23

      If FA/Hockey condensed back into just FA and cut the fat of anyone not interested in skating anymore, they would have a productive team. Within the last two years, full parts from: Louie, AVE, Aiden Mackey (2 parts), Ben K, KRod, Elijah, Andrew Allen, Diego Todd, Donovan Piscopo, John Fitzgerald, and a few others in the Hockey full length. I think it seems theyre not doing anything but if you pay any attention, they put out stuff all the time, they just have too big of a team. I'm thinking Tyshawn and Nak just didn't want to put any effort toward FA. Tyshawn even says he doesn't watch skate vids in his interview in the mag. Wouldn't be surprised if he didn't even know FA was putting out stuff.

    • @Hartwell10
      @Hartwell10 2 года назад +17

      @@paunchcoorlightly4000 I don't disagree. FA/Hockey have been productive enough. But even take Louie for example. His big part he just dropped was for Cons. Originally I was hoping he would have the last part in a FA video. They still have an amazing team between Hockey & FA. Its just a shame we never got a big 45-120 min full length at some point considering just how massive and stacked both teams are. The Hockey videos are still some of my favorites to watch, and the last few releases from FA have been awesome. Its just a shame when you think of their riders best parts in the last few years, most of them haven't been with FA they have been for shoe, or wheel sponsors.
