  • A once in a lifetime experience. I was invited by ‪@flywithaopa‬ to fly a Kodiak in their 85th anniversary celebration of General Aviation in the United States. Over a year in the making, myself and ~50 other general aviation aircraft from various eras of flight flew in trail over Washington DC from the Lincoln Memorial, over the Washington Memorial to the Smithsonian, passing the White House and Capital building along the way.
Special Thanks to AOPA for making this all possible. Please consider becoming a member to support them and all they do for General Aviation in the USA and around the world.

It's essential to know that DC is restricted airspace and no one ever gets to fly here! This was a once in a lifetime event!

Neat but spent more time talking about the Kodiaks than the flight. Felt like click bait.
