    Very interesting channel my friend. I am very happy to have stumbled upon it, actually. I have been fed up with prices these days so a couple years ago I began making my own tools. Grandfather welded and Dad was diesel mechanic.
    I was a chemistry major in college. By far the greatest decision I have ever made in my entire life. I am nothing more than an organism gazing into the mirror attempting to self identity. With that said, money is only as important as it needs to be. Great scientists from great empires of the past have been so kind as to pass on their findings. Such an amazing gift. We can access it with a few taps of a screen now-a-days. THAT, is waaay more valuable than any printed currency. Keep up the good work and I appreciate the free knowledge you have contributed to our cause as humans! Good day to you dude!!

    Watching this and seeing the level of work put in and then seeing subscriber count makes me wonder how ppl make it? There are garbage youtubers with millions of subscribers just raking it in making sub par cntent and then this genius youtube only shows to 640 ppl Wtf?

      Thanks for the kind words 😍 While raking in some of those YT dollars would be welcome (and help me be financially independent and focus on "projects"), documenting "stuff" for YT does give me more "discipline" to complete projects, which is useful in itself. Also, many of my efforts have only been successful due in part to the information from various web sites/youtubers and the time others have taken to respond to my queries. So in turn I am happy to help if I can, which is reward enough, although, you are right, YT $$$ would also be sweet 😁

    That's cool but could u make a drill attachment to speed the process of raising and lowering faster

    • @FadsToObsessions
      @FadsToObsessions  4 года назад +1

      yes you could, if moving it faster is needed, perhaps could also use a small DC motor or servo-motor (with suitable controller), and then have a dedicated unit

      @@FadsToObsessions yeah true if u needed it faster of course

    This is super awesome !
    Do you think it would be difficult to motorize it? One way would be to attach the motor to the middle crank, but you'd need to attach it to the middle transversal bar somehow, since in has to travel up and down with it. Another version would be to have the lead screws into the bottom pair of rods, and attach the motor to the base plate. What do you think ?
    Thanks a lot for all the instructions !
