- Hello friends! I am always looking out for foundation that works nicely with mature, (beautifully aging) skin. ;)...If I find one that is affordable...well that's all the better! Hi Jill. I love watching your videos. I just wanted to share that L Lysine will help with the fever blisters. It's like a miracle. I usually take 2 500 mg a day until mine go away. You can also take it for maintenance to keep them away. ❤

Use three drops of 101 and one drop of 102. However, I have to say that 101 matches your skin perfectly

One thing that always pops up are cold sores etc on lips...
I use a prescription called Acyclovir Ointment,USP 5%
Using it after the sore appears is useless...but if you find one coming on (which I do) apply immediately and it will disappear almost overnight...you do have to apply it 6 times a day

Hi Jill. That foundation looks fabulous, even after multiple hours! I think I'm going to give it a try. It's definitely affordable. Been curious as to what brand of 5x magnifying mirror you use. I'm in need of a new one and I don't ever remember you mentioning what the brand is or where you bought it.

I wonder if you've ever considered using a tinted sunscreen or a BB cream as foundation? These types of products often have a broader, "adjustable" color base that might be easier to deal with instead of trying for an exact match. The end look is fabulous, but I'd love to see all the in-between steps you didn't show. Thanks for the video!

I think you still look fabulous. I think the make up still looks fantastic. You know considering you had it on for hours love your wig. Love that color. Yeah I just didn’t touch the name of the make up but I’ll check your list.

Hi Jill loved the foundation on you I did not get the name but the problem is I am 65 I do have very good skin.but it has always been dry I do use very good skin products but I have never used a matt foundation I can always feel it on my face do you think I could mix a matt foundation with a mor dewy foundation will I get a a more of skin finish and I won't feel it so much ❤🎉 ?
Can you do an indepth eye makeup tutorial or if you've done one can you direct me to it. I don't know how to apply eyeshadow like you do and would love to learn placement! Thanks

Jill your makeup and hair looks lovely. 😊 I've seen this foundation floating around Amazon but had not watched any reviews on it, until now! Right now since it's winter here and dry, seems like no matter type of foundation I use, my skin looks dry!!!
I hope you find it helpful! Oh yes, Winter wreaks havoc on our skin for sure. Try light exfoliation (nothing grainy... I prefer gentle enzymes) maybe once a week if not sensitive, and if sensitive sometimes once a month is good....and then tap in a nice oil blend all over night and day. I use this Enzyme in the Winter : ra.skin/products/papaya-tangerine-enzyme-1?_pos=4&_sid=06429524f&_ss=r. You looked really great! I have such a time finding a good foundation! This winter my skin has been the driest I’ve ever had. Been trying out Jones Road. I’d love for you to do a video on that. To me it’s a very confusing product. But it is very moisturizing for me. So glad your back doing you videos!
Thank you for your kind compliment. ;) My skin too is very dry this Winter. Funny you mention Jones Road. I have had them for awhile, but still trying to figure out my thoughts on it. It is unique, and it is sort of a whole new way to look at makeup....which is kind of great! HOWEVER, I am on the fence with it. Look for a video soon!

Hi Jill, i thought the foundation looked perfect on you, and the finish look was beautiful. I have RW Editors Pick too, i really like her! If you have dry lips, try cold pressed castor oil. I have tried expensive lip balms and inexpensive products and nothing works as well as the castor oil. Love it!!! Great video, enjoy your evening and the rest of your week! Hugs ♥️
Btw, have you watched The Three Musketeers, BBC version? These guys are so handsome, lol. Now there's some violence, but there's also love interests too. I think it was filmed around 2016, i just love it, I'm pretty sure i should have married an Englishman, lol. You might want to check it out.

Wow! Loving how good that foundation looked on you and how well it lasted through the day. I do wonder, though, how much of that was down to how well you look after your skin and all the prep you did before putting the foundation on. I suspect it definitely played a part. The foundation I use isn't massively expensive but it's far from cheap and if I don't prep my skin properly it wears off so quickly. I swear my nose and chin eat it!! 😂

Oh I definitely think prepping the skin is key to almost any foundation....but, definitely for mature skin w/ a matte/oil free foundation. This is why I wanted to share with everyone what exactly I did to prep my skin. ;)
It looks lovely on you but why don’t you mix the two shades to get the shade you desire? With a ratio of two thirds lighter and one third darker or maybe not even that much of the darker. 🥰💜
I have tried various amounts....it just really picks up on the orange no matter the ratios it seems.

Love love love !! I’m soo tempted to get it but I have others I hardly use! lol if I got it it’s bc my birthday is next Friday . I’ll be 63 and since I don’t get gifts , I decided every year I will take the month of January and get myself anything and everything I want , to an extent of course 😂 but yes that’s a great looking foundation. Tfs also I get those red patches and I. The winter holy hydration!! My skin gets so dry and anything I put on it, it just SOAKS IT YO, I’ve been exfoliating WEEKLY!! And still this skin is so dry. Any suggestions? I havnt been using my ra skincare bc I’m afraid since I get itchiness and red blotches. My dr gave me a steroid but told me it thins out your skin and the driest is on my lids around brows and under eyes and on face!! I hate it!! I’m using eucerin, abolene and anything else that can feed my skin. Ughhh annoying af!!

It seems like every time I get a foundation it has an orange tint to it when I put it on. I have very light skin and I have even been to Ulta for a color match several times and I still come back home with something orange.
There is every color imaginable on eBay at a very reasonable $6 to $10
Oh I hear ya! I too have this very experience, and I hate to say… mostly with drugstore foundations. 😩
