These changes are EXCELLENT and all things I mentioned in the feedback form. Thanks for listening! I was very disappointed with the beta after having played GBVS regularly since day one, and I'm now excited to try Rising again. You may have just saved Granblue.
Yeah I'm too excited. Have fun yourself during the demo!
Very happy to see all of these changes, actually, I didn't expect changes to practically every mechanic in the game.
Technical input users will be happy that there is now a 10% damage increase.
I'm happy about the throw tech window being close to the original GBVS.
Excited to play the next beta soon.
yeah throw and motion inputs were the biggest issues for me
but it seems like throw might still be reactable which isn't good and the extra dmg only being on neutral specials and not in combos is dumb
also I hate everything related to bravery points, such a dumb mechanic imo but whatever
this is good enough
@@tempoaccla4041 Nah, asking you to be technical in neutral and allowing you to hamhand combos is a genious move.
Beginners always focus way too much on combos, letting them be done easier will likely lead more people to spend more time actually learning the game instead of grinding combo trials.
@@Stroggoii hmmmm you got a point
Seeing all these great changes gives me a lot of hope for the game! Can’t wait for the second beta and release date!
I feel the same way.
Game changes aside (which are pretty good overall IMO, really liked them) I want to congratulate and thank you for the stream itself. It was an amazing format, super fun and informative, well edited, guests were all great too, subtitles were clear, etc. Magnificent job FKHR and everyone involved, cheers. Can't wait for the next beta!
awesome changes! they really listen to the community! can't wait to play
I’m glad this stream was done. But I’d like it if a little more time was put into the english subtitles for this version of the stream that is on the english Cygames channel. Not the subtitles in the stream itself but at least the captions in the youtube settings
I’ll be waiting for that second beta launch date, Anila looks like fun. Also Sandalphon being added to the game could be cool.
There's no way they won't make Sandy DLC. His popularity it so high.
i love their craft, its so pure.
You listened!? BLESS YOU & THIS GAME!
So the game that started with a meter that had only 1 use now became a layered resource management fight? That's wild.
And it's also more like the mobile game too, where you use the charge bar and other resources to manage risks and opportunities. I'm very interested to see what high level play will look like now.
The game is looking great! Anxious waiting for the releasement! Keep up the good work!
huge W devs
every one of these changes is impactful, smart, and makes the game more interesting and exciting. so much more hyped now.
Great video, loved all the changes!
I think 10% damage increase is good. It could be up to 15%, but I guess for starters that's good enough, allowing people to enjoy the game.
Can't wait. The game looks so fun
I really like all these changes. I'm looking forward for the next demo to play with friends. Keep the good work cygames! 😁
Can’t wait to preorder on Steam, I currently have this game Wishlisted.
when they gonna enable the pre order?
Thank you FKHR-san! I cant' wait for the full release
0:12 Score-san was here as well!!!
We want a physical release of GBVS: Rising PLEASE AND THANK YOU 💙🤍
I know I’m a bit late but please bring back the universal overhead! I like the fact that auto combos can now be used as mix ups but I feel like the universal overhead has more mix up potential as it wasn’t limited to an auto combo and you can do it a lot more freely in a block string
Lookin good!
After Strive and MK1 being a huge let down this feels like the game im finally gonna have fun playing. So many options for defending and attacking, the changes made to the game are amazing. And most important of all, the match pacing is ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. You dont die because of two combos like in Strive or Mk1 giving the players more fight. The combos are not long so there no to much waiting for your turn to do something. I want to play this already!
Also.... im hoping this will finally be the time for this game to be ported to Switch. They first game had plans to do that but they never did it. Please port this to switch. I want to have parties with friends where we can play this whenever we want.
よくやったね!大成功だと思います! You did a great job with these adjustments! As far as I'm concerned, these tweaks are a huge success! 👍
Nice translation, thank you
6:38 and 19:17 AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Edit:
AND MY STRIKE/THROW MIX IS BACK!!!
WE'RE SO BACK!!!
Good changes overall. I'm still not a fan of the new shading on the characters though. It looks fine in some instances, but Zeta's shading in the first match is horrible.
Day one buy
Will there be a option to fight CPU’s and players?
Did they reintroduce the universal overhead?
Removed and changed to raging strike
Nope. There's still an overhead option in the auto combo at least, and some dash Ms are still overheads too.
@@augusmnyt Is raging strike an overhead?
@@leos8813 raging strike is not an overhead.
@@faiyez I don't really get what it's supposed to do. Guard crush?
¿When is the next beta?
I haven't seen the video yet, might check it out tomorrow if I have time. The only thing I'm wondering about is if the RPG elements in the Story mode are all still present from the first game (if not also expanded upon). It's the only part of the game I'm interested in.
RPG mode from the original is present with new additional story content.
@@faiyez Sweet! I knew the story itself was being expanded upon, but keeping the RPG elements is what I was hoping for. Guess this is a day 1 purchase. Thanks!
Depends on what you mean with RPG elements.
The beat em up stages and boss battles are still there. But leveling, weapons and elements types is gone.
It's an straightforward experience now, just go through the game play and story with no grinding and collecting.
@@LROlsson Well, I mean RPG elements. So it sounds like all of that is now absent. Guess I'll just stick with the old version then.
At least Relink is coming pretty soon now.
So does this update the base game then or act as a separate game?
Separate game
good
Is there an english dub ?
Yeah, but I think they are changing some of the English va's from the last game.
this might not help, but in the description, at the bottom of it, there is a button that says, "show transcipt". Click that. Like I said, I don't know if it's exactly what you're looking for, but it is something.
Sandalphon?
Dude, I'm crazy or you guys gona sell the game for the same price to PS and PC but give early acess just to PS???? Don't look fair to me.
Looking mostly good so far, but in my opinion, there’s still a lot of work that needs to be done. Maybe my perspective is skewed a little because rising affects both my mains for the worse, but i need to say it. First off, i am so upset about the state of zeta. Taking away her knockdowns absolutely destroys her gameplan. Without access to knockdown/okizeme, she becomes a character with slower than average pokes with barely any way to open anyone up and keep her momentum. Eustace, while he was buffed in rising, those buffs were in the wrong areas. I was a huge advocate for bringing penalties to simple inputs back, and eustace was the reason why. For normal characters its okay, but for charge characters like eustace, it breaks the game. Let’s take guile in the 3ds version of street fighter 4. Guile in that game was easily top tier because that game had the ability to tap a button on the touch screen to get a special move, and one button sonic booms made guile absurdly dominant. The same applies to eustace. Im all for him being good, but i dont want him to be the guy that spams simple inputs to win, especially since, for eustace and his gameplan, the buffs to technical inputs arent enough to make them better than simple inputs. (At least for his charge moves) In short, decent system mechanic changes, but some characters are still suffering from them. Maybe the individual character patch notes could change that, but from first impressions, my mains are in major trouble
Eustace could already do simple input shots with no cooldown penalty in the later versions of Versus and it didn't significantly affect his balance or playstyle. His projectiles have more in common with a traditional fireball than Guile booms anyway, he was basically a charge character just for flavor. Agreed on Zeta though. Hopefully the meter changes will help her out a bit.
I'm not sure about Eustace, but the +10% damage is massive for Metera since it's pretty much a permanent Skill damage buff on her.
