What's the key?? Modal progression🧐🧐
You can think of it as being in the key of G major / the relative E minor. There are ambiguous moments, especially the extended Em section in the verse. There are some out of key chords. The F major is a bVII chord, a borrowed chord. You could see at as modal interchange giving a mixolydian spice. The A major is also out-of-key. If it preceded a D or D7 it would be a secondary dominant, the V of V. But there is no V chord in the song at all.
