Thanks so much for showing Meningie & surrounds, in-between the foul weather. My grandparents lived & worked at Woods Well station there. So it was great to see
Where to start , you had some lovely weather . The views were stunning and have to say the facilities looked awesome . You do pick the most beautiful spots . And I do love your map skills too . The way you show your vehicle and caravan and then vehicle on its own . It’s great use of the map and I did find it amusing . All in all very interesting . 👍❤️ having reread this ,this is tame it’s not just interesting it’s excellent and makes me jealous
You’ve finally visited our favourite summer stay with friends for twenty years! Thank you and do try another time when the weather forecast looks better. ☀️☀️😊
@@justcruisinwithmicksally837 Hi Mick. We live in an area known as North Waikato about 60km south of Auckland where huge rain falls have been recorded. We have had heavy rain that has drained away quickly fortunately, un like Auckland.
A great park, always enjoy out stay, great video again , pretty much did the same trip about a year ago, hope to be back there in a couple of mths. Thanks for taking us along
Great to see the camping locations in the Coorong National Park. As we always holiday with our dog we don't get to see these locations. Those spots will definitely go onto the "one day in the future " list. Last year camping at Narrung it was very busy in May. Many come from Victoria . Unfortunately in South Australia we still have duck hunting season.
We no longer have any dogs for the reason of camping restrictions. Interesting to read that many come over from Victoria, I would not have thought that.
Mick. I just don't know how to applaud you and Sally with your regular video's. And the way you do compliment the Park owners with their efforts...super nice efforts mate. Am now regretting having sold our super well setup caravan a few months ago, but the old abused body of myself made far too many complications, hence my enjoyment of viewing your regular segments around Oz....most appreciated and enjoyed...Thank You.
What a pretty spot, I keep looking at all the lovely places you go and adding them to my 'should go there' list. Lol. I have been down that area but when I thought about it I was surprised to realise it was well over 10 years ago, certainly doesnt seem that long! Thanks again for a great video, still windy over here. Cheers Cheryl 🙂
It certainly would be the place to be if you did get a beautifully coloured sunrise or sunset as it looks so pretty even if only a little colour. I think a full-blown sunset would bring tears to the eyes with its reflections in the smooth waters below & be one that you would want printed to hang on the wall!
Couldn't agree with you more, just love a red sky morning or night. There are so many places that I know of that I would like to be at sundown to capture it when all red, one day it might happen.
Interesting to see the Coastal parts of SA. I reckon the sunset and sunrise were actually quiet pretty given the weather conditions. Happy travels to you and Sally.
firstly it was great to catch up quickly before you went off to Narrung its a great caravan park, we enjoyed our stay there, you are not wrong about the weather thought, one of the vans lost their Awning , ended up over the van, just as he was about to wind it in as well several of us helped get it back over, wind in and secured back down as a coupe of the arms also broke the bolts off. despite that there was a couple of good days that we could get out on the water as well, and got to go have a drive down to the Coorong National Park and saw a couple of camp sites we also would look at going to, the day we did that we did a lap of the lake and went thought one of the last cars before they closed the road due to the water ( was closed as they were worried about trucks ripping up the road caus of water under the surface the lady at the traffic control told us, )
@@justcruisinwithmicksally837 thats Adelaide for you haha, same, even though the weather for a few days was not the best. just getting away made up for that, and we just took advantage of the days we could get out on the water even more. hope to see you both around again somewhere else and have more time to catch up
I can send these weblinks to my friends in China and they dont say oh its too fast. Well done. What is the little program on the map with the car following the roads? That is terrific.
Bonsoir Mick & Sally.
Yes the sunset will be there the next time hopefully. Drones are allowed in most places except National Parks and some council areas. It is hard to find out if there are flying restrictions in some areas as there are not always signs telling you that they are not allowed.

Hi Mick. Another great video. Really look forward to them. Down to earth and informative. Thanks from NZ.👍
Thank you Chris, glad you like them. I hope you are not caught up in the flooding over there, stay safe.

Nice but you forgot to mention the risk of Drop Bears in the food prep area @11:39... 😉 A.,
It wasn't drop bear season, in saying that there were a lot of mulga monkeys about😄😄
Don't forget to go to Canunda National Park at Southend entrance, you'll get your caravan in, no worries.
Will keep that in mind for the next time we are down that way, thanks.

Great video…. We’re heading there this coming weekend 🇦🇺
Have a great time when you get there, it should be nice at this time of the year🙂👍
Back in the day I walked to the end of the jetty at Meningie on dry land when the water was low.
I too can recall when it was so dry there, much nicer now though.
Thanks for that. I've been thinking of doing a trip to Meningie to have a look around so this is very helpful.
There is plenty to do and see down that way, hopefully you will have better weather when you go than what we had this last trip.

The program is called "travelBoast" all one word.
hi we are travelling to Kingston se on Thursday there was no road closures ?
Every area should be dropping in water level by now. The main part of the river is falling very quickly from what I have heard on media reports.

Is the Murry still flooded??
yep it is still high at the lower end, the level going down
The river around Renmark to Morgan is still flooded but the height is dropping quickly from what I have seen in media reports.
@@justcruisinwithmicksally837 its down to just over 7 meters today I saw at Morgan now, ( 3.5 is normal hight )
