Amazing what a football team can achieve when they don't have fear and surrender coached into them all week! No white towels were thrown in as soon as they got off the coach! Lots of comments on how poor Leicester were and although they have limitations, I feel we got into them from the first whistle, which halted the home crowds' involvement, and at no point could they build a spell of pressure! It's great to see Vardy stifled and limp off at the end. There's sterner tests ahead, but we have to build, and I've seen very few performances so accomplished since the Coventry capitulation! Wolves following were immense and very loud... I hope Geoff got the message 😅
Absolutely wonderful day - thank you Wolves for the unexpected Christmas present today. An away win, three points with three goals and a clean sheet. A long way to go but I saw eleven players doing good things, playing to their capabilities ina disciplined team performance. I feel sorry for Conor Coady as he was a truly great pro for the Wolves but these are difficult times and we badly needed this performance today.
🎶🌲For the first match of Christmas, Vitor gave to me… 3 goals against Leicester 2 good halves of football 1 away win and finally…..a CLEAN SHEET! #wwfc
Absolutely buzzing with the win today but at the same time not getting carried away or reading to much into it. Was today a sign of things to come or just a new manager bounce? I guess we’ll find out over the next few games.
I agree with Nathan that we were better second half. Up until the opening goal both teams were pants, then after Guedes goal Wolves confidence immediately grew, Leicester stayed pants throughout = aside from the indefatigable Vardy. A good job that Sa blocked when he had a clear run at goal early on at 0-0. We must play a real winger in order to threaten the opposition defence and well done Rodrigo Gomes for your first Wolves goal! A worry about losing Cunha for what might be half-a-dozen matches - Hwang, his likely replacement was anonymous as usual and even stepped over the ball rather than try to control it when in a super position to have a strike on goal seconds after coming on. Perhaps Sarabia will be available again for Boxing Day? A shout out for Santi Bueno at the back for keeping the clean sheet. Toti still has errors in him. I'd stick with the Andre - Joao Gomes midfield pairing. But perhaps Doherty might step down for Ait-Nouri against Man Utd. Great to get the much needed win today. A vital game for us. But it is only one win. We are still in deep trouble and we shouldn't get too excited, we are unlikely to face more obliging opponents in the rest of the season. And congratulations to our new manager. UTW and Merry Christmas all. dylanwolf in the billyQ
My Christmas dinner is going to be to taste much better hope we can carry the momentum on Boxing Day I will be there to support you don’t let me down we have a coach who seems to know what he is doing 😅 wolves forever
Great win well deserved against a truly dreadful Leicester side. There are glimmers there and \i think it will be okay, he's seen them play now so has more idea who can do what. Ait Noori would have run riot against them today and so would Lemina but we had neither so all lookin good. We'll know a lot more after the United game, they're not that good right now but way way better than Leicester. COYW
We've seen with Forest and Bournemouth how important having a good manager is, and today you saw the difference immediately.
great early Christmas present and a massive win chaps , what a difference a week makes
Wolves needed 3 points, and they got them! 3 goals, and Wolves used the ball very well! Much better! Simply fantastic 👏 👌 😀 👍🏻 COYW, Always Wolves 🐺
Surprised these guys didn’t credit GON for the win. Amazing the difference a proper manager makes
Exactly.
Do their pod and they will back you forever

Very good 👍

👍👍👍
Rodrigo and Guedes played out of their minds, 2 players who didn't get a sniff in under GON.
Hope this is a sign of things to come.
Liam I saw you on the way to the media entry before the game! Cheers mate!
Wohooooo. Yesssss, what a great Christmas Present to all Wolves fans. Onwards and upwards..... WANDERERSSSSS... WANDERERSSSSS COYW
Dream Start, for this new manager
Excellent assessment 👏 👌 👍
Finally a win - maybe things are looking up for Wolves!
More pressure on defense allowed more chances for the offense to score. Winning recipe. Go Wolves!!!

Fantastic result, rubbish opposition or not, enjoy every good moment, we haven't had many for a while, Merry Christmas Everyone 😀
Now do the same against United boxing day 😋
Lets be honest they wouldn't have scored those goals against a top side
But much better and a wins a win much needed
Any other side in the league punishes our mistakes today. Lucky break - desperately need at least 2 CBs through the door.
My Christmas dinner is going to be to taste much better hope we can carry the momentum on Boxing Day I will be there to support you don’t let me down we have a coach who seems to know what he is doing 😅 wolves forever
We NEED a new CB in January, Toti is a walking disaster
They always passed it to him though
@Gman-nb9ge yeah and he nearly gave away a goal that he had to clear off the line himself. He gave the ball away constantly
Toti ain’t prem player. Need two centre back
Relax ... it was Leicester

No he wouldn't he hasn't once all season. You're deluded
COULDNT BELEIVE how bad Leicester was ,there are worse teams in this league than us
That's what you get from a proper manager not a muppet of a manager who got a 4 year contract for wining 1 game in 13
Central Defender January 1st!!!
Judah is a strange one isn’t he
Somewhat overblown analysis. Wolves were given goals by Leicester and could have conceded two. So, excellent result against relegation certainties.
we waited to beat them for ages
