My Grandson got one of these from my wife's "Spark Review" membership. He had a blast till the plastic wheel hub wore out from the nylon axle on the front wheels .. about 2 weeks of play .. Good news is with a little work those tires will fit the rims from my vintage Kyosho Double Dare. Decided to revive my old school hobby.
Looks nice but needs more power, kinda slow, if it had more power, larger motor , stronger battery , it would be more fun , kind of expensive for $50-70 when it’s slow , truck looks great and big, but I kept getting snuck going into the grass
That's odd, sorry to hear that. The only thing I can think of is to try re-inserting the battery (green) again to the truck. When it's new, the battery does not get locked in properly.
@@ToysRCBros but how long the charging stays....how long will it work after charging....and i have one more question i broke the front wheel mistakenly the wheel had and plastic hook support but its now broken.... it can be replaced with any other thing or where can i buy it
@@waterlove4628 You can run the truck for about 10-20 mins with a full charge depending on how you drive. Regarding the broken wheel, you can try Ebay as we have seen people selling New Bright toy parts on there sometimes. But it might be a bit hard to find though.
Hello! The new bright website does have replacement batteries. Here is the link for the 9.6v battery and charger which I got from the New Bright website: www.amazon.com/dp/B07G41GVL2 Another good place to check would be eBay and the remote should definitely be on there for sale. Let me know if you need help finding one.
So this truck comes with the highest voltage battery that new bright has to offer. Although we have not done this ourselves (yet), there are people who have attached a LIPO on another version of a truck by New Bright and made it go a little faster. Also, another note is that the wires used on these trucks are very thin.
So I bought one for a 8 year old for his birthday.. The next day I went an bought one for myself an I'm 29 years old .. But mines I plan on using my imagination yes I know they go for $50 but with some TLC I can go a long way..
Well, in our opinion, if you are looking for an RC toy to be driven indoors these trucks are great. But if you are looking to getting into the RC hobby, then we do not recommend these trucks at all.
Yeah the new bright RC he's only give you a 30-day manufacturer warranty and the store gives you a 90 days 60 days manufacturer warranty that's Walmart so I went to our local hobby shop Smoke Stack Hobby in my town and bought this thing and my boys love it we spent 3 hours on One battery charge out in my backyard Rock clock crawling most of the afternoon until we had to stop and go get pizza and we went right back at it stay away from New Bright RC s any type of New Bright RC s do not buy I have to Ford F-150 Raptors paid $45 a piece for the vehicles and they both are not working and they've only been used about 10 times stay away from New Bright RC vehicles and they are China made the one I bought is 100% us made all the parts all the gears everything is made in the United States so we're going to have a lots of fun we might even enter some competitions as we get better and see where we can go with the hobby
@@terryalex1004 Sounds like you guys were having lots of fun. Yeah, we agree, if you want a truck you can use outdoors, new bright is not the way to go. Also, It's great that you guys support your local hobby shop. We are currently building a 1/5 scale crawler using a hobby-grade chassis and a new bright f150 raptor shell. We just completed the build and can't wait to test it outside. As always there will be videos. It's a mini-series. Part 1 is already out and part 2 will be released tomorrow. Part 3 would be the off-road test that will come out soon.

Where can I buy batteries and charger and also controller from?
Love this video 🤩
Thanks for watching!
What!? It’s waterproof that’s awesome!!
Well, I wouldn't call it 100% waterproof but we only ran it in water that was up to its axels.
Toys & RC Bros oh ok that makes sense. Keep up the good work 👍🏽
@@gentlemanstraction Thank you!
Is it better than a traxxas slash
Its not....this is a toy grade truck.
R u sure?
Na bro!! Not a chance
Well at least new bright gets an A+ for show and F- for go
Yeah not very good performance but excellent appearence
We should race urs is bigger but I also have a raptor I think it would be a good race anyway good vid and content
Thanks for Watching! Is your raptor a New Bright one too?
@@ToysRCBros yes it is and good on ice and light snow
Like the body wonder it it will fit my 12423
This is a 1:8 scale body, so you may be able to fit it on there. Let us know if you need the exact measurements.
For some reason I did all the steps you did but it won’t turn on? I charged the battery and everything? Any suggestions

how long charging lasts
It usually takes about 1 hour to 1.5 hours to charge. Keep an eye on the charging light on the charger. When it's solid green its good to go.

Honestly plastic is flammable so you cant charge the battery on that charger unless its full metal
LOL I was kidding dont take things too seriously.
LOL
My dad brought home one of these along with the orange f-150 9.6v, would anyone happen to know where they sell batteries/charger & remotes ???

Price?
Its about $70 if I remember correctly. 1:8 scale
Can this truck be modified???
If you are looking to use the body on a hobby-grade RC, yes it's possible.

Cool! Adding lights would be the easiest on this truck. Good luck!!!
How long can you use the raptor before the battery goes completley edad?
For about 12 mins with continuous use
My battery wont even go in all of the way
It's a little tight when it's new. So you might have to force it in a little.
I got the Chevrolet Silverado rc and it will do better than a Ford
haha cool! lets have race one of these days!
Ok I take you up on your offer
Get a traxxas
We have Traxxas, Redcats and Exceed :)
Is a bad thing to buy any of these rc from this company
