I used to sing like really really sing. However, I abuse my guilt by smoking marijuana and tobacco for years. I’ve re-dedicated my life to Christ and I’m praying that your videos will help me get my voice. I really want to be used by God.

The voice is delicate, but it’s also incredibly resilient 🙌🏽. If you’re willing to do the work, consistently, every day, you may be able to reclaim what you lost and much more 🙂. I recommend starting here 👉🏽 ruclips.net/p/PLA5COi4BROahqtgj73mpG7sdszP0GSWtu&si=g8Yny11dW_olxAJR

I just recently found out I have a severe case of hypothyroidism.
The reason I mention this here is because it was causing swelling in my neck and face, and it made it hard for me to breathe. I literally felt like I was breathing through a tiny straw all the time. Trying to breathe deep would result in a lot of tension.
I literally couldn’t do any vocal exercises without my throat hurting… which was very frustrating since singing is all I wanna do…
I started taking thyroid medication a couple weeks ago, and after a week my swelling went away and I could finally breathe a full, deep breath. I can even smell things now that I forgot were much stronger to me years ago, like rain…
Idk if I’ll be on this stuff for life, but what I do know is that it’s changed my life a lot already. So, I’m sharing this here in case anybody needs this info, like I did.
There’s a lot of completely unrelated symptoms that can show up with hypothyroidism. I had several all at once… and apparently being skinny with a larger belly is a symptom of it. Which is good to know now
Anyway, if you have any trouble breathing easily or deeply, or you feel tired ALL the time for no reason, then go see your dang doctor. Seriously, don’t let it get this bad.
Look up symptoms. See if you have any. If you do, then just go get your thyroid checked. It controls a lot of functions in your body and you don’t want it to get bad. Trust me.

These videos are awesome. I was hesitant to follow on Patreon believing I had all I needed after purchasing your videos. I credit your Patreon juicy tips for accelerating my learning a great deal. The improvements gained by following just these RUclips tips can trick your brain into believing you are “there”. Actually there often is still more to go, and vocal learning can be counter intuitive. I wasted a lot of time believing I was where I needed to be. Your recorded voice juicy tips filled in a missing blank for me immediately.
