if any normal person ACTUALY tries to sing this song matching him note for note belting it out.. the vocal solo at (starts in this video at 5:55) strains so hard. I used to practice this driving home from work and once had to stop the car and get sick.. it's not easy the man HAS some amazing pipes.

For some context: the USO (United Service Organizations) is an American charity started in 1941 to boost morale in the US Armed Forces through live shows (bands, comedians, et.al.). I think one of the ways this video is great is that it shows two sides of military experience, contrasting the relative peace of a simple dance with the horror of the battlefield.

I wish my war torn grandpa who hates emo and punk could watch this music video without triggering his ptsd. I think he would have a new level of respect for at least this band. My grandpa's longtime girlfriend broke up with him when he enlisted in the military. He made a best friend in bootcamp. But he died in France while my granpa was stationed in Italy.
