I like Kat and Ana's lines regarding this. Say what you want about them, their voice lines do put you in a better mood for their worse microgames, regardless of if you won or lost.
Orbulon may be a bad fit for Burst Your Bottle, but it's actually pretty easy once you figure out what to do! This is one of the easiest bad fits to get a score of 999 with in the Play-o-Pedia.
I just notice something they are 20 characters and 5 basic groups they fall into, the grounded, the volts and pyoro, they don’t jump but they can’t fly either, most use rings, while 5 volt just teleports but even she can’t jump or fly, the jumpers, cricket, mantis, kat and Ana, can jump but can’t fly, they have no need for rings, the continuous, crygor penny, jimmy, and lulu, can’t really jump, but instead you more so control their movement and they can basically fly as long as you continue to use their input, the shooters, Ashley, dribble, spitz, and Orbulon, they fly and shoot a simple projectile, which flies in a straight line, which is rather weak, easy as that, and the flyers, wario, mona, orbulon and red, they fly but they don’t have the standard simple shot, but instead their attack is different.
3:23 I find it interesting how Ashley and Mike are both deemed a below-average fit for *two* microgames Kat & Ana (and Orbulon) are deemed the best fits for, those being Egg It On and Apple Drop. What’s ironic is that Penny, who’s pretty much the opposite of Ashley in terms of both character and controls, (while both are young girls with pigtails [braided in Penny’s case] who can make concoctions [potions for Ashley and elixirs/liquid chemicals/chemistry for Penny], Ashley is a moody, quiet, relatively cynical, and aloof witch-in-training with red eyes who does NOT like adorable dresses, sweets (but oddly enough, she does like a few Prezzies based on sweet food), or anything bright and colorful, while Penny is a cheerful, friendly, and optimistic scientist-in-training with blue eyes who seems to be pretty *fond* of sweets, cute dresses, and presumably bright and colorful things based on some of her Prezzy preferences, her association with hearts and the color pink, her dream of becoming a pop star, and even the girly appearance of her profile on the official WarioWare website. In Get It Together’s gameplay, both Ashley and Penny are capable of shooting projectiles in whichever direction they’re facing and they’re both quite versatile. However, Ashley’s controls are far more straightforward: she only shoots when the player presses the A button, just like the other free-flyers. Also like the other free-flyers, she moves around in the same direction as the input of the joystick. Plus, Ashley is the most consistent character in terms of her suitability ratings for microgames: she’s almost ALWAYS considered an above-average fit for not just most microgames, but also almost *EVERY single* Boss Microgame [in fact, she has has 161 microgames that deem her an above-average fit, the most out of any character. The only two Boss Microgames that do *not* consider her an above-average fit are Potty Pursuit and her own Boss Microgame Great Juice, both of which deem her a Good Fit] because she can move freely and she can shoot in *any* direction. Penny, on the other hand, shoots water from her Jet Tank 1 whenever the player *moves the control stick* rather than press the A button, moves in whichever direction is the OPPOSITE of the direction that the player moves the joy-stick towards [However, she can stop moving when the player presses A.] and is the *least* consistent character in terms of her suitability ratings for each microgame: she has microgames equally distributed to each difficulty level - 18 bad fits [the second most out of any character behind 9-Volt and Kat & Ana], 50 below-average fits, 53 average fits, 51 above-average fits, and 40 good fits. [tied with 5-Volt for having the second most Good Fits out of any character, behind Orbulon], plus, she and 18-Volt are the only characters to score the full range of Suitability ratings for the Boss Microgames.) is ALSO a good fit for Egg It On, while Ashley’s sidekick Red is a good fit for Apple Drop as well!😃😅
There are also voice lines that each character says in other circumstances: When they win microgames like Hidden Holidays, Shadow Sports, or Splatoon 2, though I don't know about when they lose these ones. When they lose from getting hit When they get hit and still win (There are very few microgames where this is possible)
Microgames that I know of where you can get hit and still win: Fireworks Get Away, Ghost! Peril-Chute You Can Lead a Robot to Water... (level 3 only) Super Mario Bros. (two player only) New Super Mario Bros. U (two player only) Stick to It (two player only)
btw there also seems to be special voice lines for beating a microgame after losing control of your character, such as burning yourself on the candle in fire works after the firework is lit
