    Hi Crystal, I have tried to crochet three different cable patterns by three different people teaching the stitch. I found out that your cable stitch is the easiest by far. You make me want to stop where I'm at and take it down and start over for the third time. I have wanted to crochet a cable sweater for a long time. I think that I'm going to start over. Thanks for being a great teacher and you are so easy to follow in your videos, Thanks again.

    I wanted to purchase some pillows from Target but they sold out so I decided to make my own. Orginally I thought I was doing great, then looked and had to unravel it. I rewind the video 3 times before I got it but now I can do it in my sleep. Also I found using stitch markers on the front for the criss cross pattern was helpful. Thanks for the video.

    All the decorations in my house are a brownish color and all country western farmhouse style. It is so hard to find pillows to match that, I used a cream and brown ombre yarn for this and it came out perfect thank you so much again for the perfect patterns.

    Love your tutorials, they are really helping me expand my crochet repertoire. A great way to estimate yardage used is to weigh the remainder on a gram scale. Then apply our 10th grade algebra we thought we would never use. Ha ha, Mr. Woodward was right...It would come in handy after all! For example for easy math...full Skein equals 100 grams for 100 yards...10 grams leftover, approx yardage remaining equals 10 yards. This also works forwards for estimating yardage when substituting a different yarn.
    Keep bringing the cool vids for us! Cheers.

    Hello! Love this pattern! I am only wanting to do the design on the front part of the pillow and I would rather do all double crochets on the back (since it won’t be seen). I was wondering if I would still need the same amount of rows or would I need more since it’s only double crochet? Thanks!

    • @colinstanton56
      @colinstanton56 4 года назад

      Hiya Jessica....I wanted to do the same as you've mentioned I found the plain back piece with double crochet came out a bit bigger so I would do less stiches for the back I don't have the heart to rip it out so i'll use it as a spare cushion somewhere but I have learnt my lesson....
