Really tragic and beatiful how the Inquisitor and Solas are basically trapped together in Dragon Age's version of Hell for all eternity (the blighted dreams of the Titans)
Here's my best guess for correlating old gods, judeo-christian angels, evanuris, and their spirit origins. Dumat - Dumah - Dirthamen - fear/anxiety? Zazikel - Zadkiel - Falondin - Grief/? Toth - Jehoel - Andruil - freedom/indulgence? Andoral - Jegudiel - June - discipline/obsession? Urthemiel - Uriel - Sylaise - knowledge/? Razikale - Raziel - Elgarnan -vengence/tyranny Lusacan - Leliel - Ghilanain - I think she was just an elf. I know it's not special but I think she was just a crazy elf that used a ton of blood magic. Maybe the first born elf. Solas - Wisdom/Pride Mythal - Justice/Grievance
What a journey! It was a pleasure to watch your blind pt! And yes, that last scene broke me as well😭 I was fearing so much that the Dread Wolf wouldn't survive fighting Elgar'nan's archdemon. He was getting such a beating from that massive dragon, plus those whines of pain in the background made me fear the worst! And then to see Solas cowering before Mythal's essence was viscerally painful! I mean, he who always stands tall and proud, he literally shrunk before her, even at some point he gestures the dagger to her as if giving it to end his suffering😭 And Lavellan kneeling before him giving him strength when he was all out of his own, so tired and battered and hurting😭I cannot imagine a pt of DAV without a Solavellan Inky, that to me is the only right way to play it lol. I can't wait to follow your ME journey!👀
i used emmerich for the wards because i didn't have bellara at that point (chose her over neve) so i LOVE solas' banter with emmerich omg (though i will say i preferred bellara in what you had in neve's spot because her fing up her own god(s) just hit harder)
Had so much fun watching you play through all of these games, made me enjoy them even more. Your reactions and lore diving got me so much more invested. I'm so glad the last game gave you the ending you wanted :)
i was really hoping all the "hints" about varric were because the devs decided to change their minds last minute and didn't have time to incorporate him properly into conversations
I loved watching this entire playthrough. I really have much more to say about the depth and thoughts that have gone into it. But also, I will say, even my options at the end on the wheel were different
I think Elgar'nan could have been Spirit of Command before he turned? But then he could have originally been Spirit of Tyranny as ancient elves don't seem to think spirits and demons are any different.
