Al was always outshined by the others but he is a fantastic talent. I’m always happy when I see him getting to do more. And Matt Jardine is awesome! About a year ago I saw the Brian Wilson band with Brian, Al, Matt and Darian Sahanaja as well as some other fantastic members. They were outstanding!! It’s a shame that Brian doesn’t have that sweet falsetto voice anymore but Matt does it really well.
She makes me comes alive and makes me wanna drive when she says : Don't Worry Baby, everything will turn out alright, don't worry baby. This lyric is so simple yet somehow deep & profound in its way
I got this 45 when it came out, I think on the flip side of I Get Around. And I had a good stereo, for a 12-year old kid. It was warmest, most beautiful sound. - a glorious mix with lush plate reverb. - just wonderful. Good to see Al Jardine still making beautiful music.
Timeless classic song written by an obvious genius at a young age and done so very great by this band full of talented offspring and a beach boy who still cares about the legacy of the music
Matt Jardine is the closest sounding to Carl and Brian when singing their lyrics. Does them justice. Thank you Matt Jardine for helping to keep the songs alive and new generations to hear the songs of yesterday
I was in a shopping mall quiet like , then this came through the speakers 🔊 hairs on my neck stood up I’ll allways love it lwas around then when pet sounds was released , lm so lucky to be growing up with beach boys , poor lot to kids now Edd sherbit and harry quaking ahah crap
I was hesitant to open the RUclips window, but if I did not see your video, I would not have felt another great joy. Whether it is a coincidence or a coincidence according to the algorithm, your video appears on my RUclips window and I am watching your video like a dream. . The moment I saw it for the first time, it made my heart flutter. As I watch your wonderful videos, I keep falling in love with them. Thank you so much for watching your valuable videos on such a fine day with clouds floating in the blue sky. As you try to achieve success on RUclips, there are only a lot of difficulties, but you can only achieve it if you always make a firm resolve that you will do it again someday. An unknown and mysterious algorithm led me here. It is a very good video just to watch. Watching your video that feels like it was made with sincerity and unsparing sincerity, it makes my heart flutter because I have a feeling that I will soon receive a lot of love. I liked your video, especially since it made a deep impression on me. While I was living, there was RUclips, which gave me another happiness. However, working on RUclips videos feels like standing alone in a windy expanse. You have the ability to make your videos instantly stunning and attractive. I would like to thank the algorithm that made it possible to watch good videos, and I hope that you will succeed as you have worked hard for your dreams.
Saw Al, and the crew, less the Wilson Phillips 2, the young lady on the keyboards filled in singing and they didn't miss a beat. Pros. At the Coach House in San Juan Capistrano. It's a great show. Matt is great.
Saw them two years ago. Brian was a little slow but Al and Matt carried the load with their fabulous harmonies. Saw the Beach Boys a few weeks ago with Bruce, Mike (still flirting with the ladies and still near perfect vocals), John Stamos (high energy- rocking the drums, guitar and harmonizing.... and as my wife says "hot") , and the new drummer Jon (he crushed it) . Maybe the two bands could join up for a tour. If not I'm thankful for the opportunities to see the "Boys" who epitomized summer fun, cars and surfing for the past 7 decades.
I know that's Ed Carter on bass because I took lessons from him years ago. Childhood friend of Al's, he played bass for the Beach Boys for 27 years. Good guy.
I liked Lorrie Morgan Singing this with The Beach Boys too. And Kathy Tricolli too.! But Brain stacked the vocals to the ceiling so it’s really difficult to duplicate without four people harmonizing.!
It’s actually about a car race, and more specifically the narrator’s girlfriend easing his anxiety about being pressured by his friends to race, making it both a car song and a love song. The car race aspect is specifically mentioned in the line “She told me baby when you race today to take along my love with you,” and is alluded to in the second verse with the lines “I guess I should've kept my mouth shut When I started to brag about my car, But I can't back down now because, I pushed the other guys too far”
Totally agree about the Foxes & Fossils version. Really works to have Maggie Adams on lead vocals and the F&F harmonies are flawless. A great tribute to the enduring nature of the Beach Boys. Great to see Al & Co, including the Wilson sisters on this video
Definitely the Foxes and Fossils version is tighter.... but of course this one is "raw live" and theirs is under studio conditions. This one is fun, too.
Greatest pop song ever recorded. What a performance this is. Just class

Matt nailed his part no questions at all .
Matt has a great voice just like his Dad who at almost 80 still sings great
So blessed to hear Matt sing.
Matt is awesome! He definitely inherited his fathers talent.
Brian Wilson’s legacy is cast in stone, his music will live on long after we’ve gone…
Matt's voice is a treasure to help carry on that authentic Beach Boy sound!
Not really. Sounds more like Frankie Valli than Brian. Way too nasally.
Damn, Matt is carrying Brian’s part amazingly
She makes me comes alive and makes me wanna drive when she says : Don't Worry Baby, everything will turn out alright, don't worry baby.

I think this is Brian's Master Piece. Sure he had many other great songs that were more intricate in the music, but this speaks to your soul.
Well, it’s not deep, but it’s a sweet song in its way. And the melody is beautiful.
Much respect to Al and this band for what they are doing and how well they are doing it.
WOW! Accidentally found this here and....WOW!!!! Loved the song THEN and love it NOW!
Matt showing his stuff which is spectacular. The Beach Boys will live on into the future. Great seeing Al getting more to say up on stage.
Only recently I've been finding how much of a contribution Al made to the Beach Boys.
Sloop John B is an Al Jardine song he took to Brian to arrange
My favourite beach boys song and I love this version 😍
Keeping the summer alive and the bands music which ive loved since 62
One of my favorite Beach Boys songs, really enjoyed that!

Isn't this music amazing? It was the background sound of our generation.
Timeless classic song written by an obvious genius at a young age and done so very great by this band full of talented offspring and a beach boy who still cares about the legacy of the music
Beautiful!!!! What a Talent!!!
Wendy 🔥
One of the best groups of all time!!!

Yes I was going to say that, it's Mike's part and my favorite part to sing along in the car with. Really great observation
Thank God for Matt, Carnie, and Wendy...
Thank you! I thought that was Wendy but couldn’t find any info. The Neach Boys rock like no other family!
@@sheliahuesing5431 100% Wendy Wilson.

My "go to" song when I need to calm down. 💙
Using it again. 131 yards is done.
Great Job Guys!!!! You all sound EXCELLENT!!!!!!
I baked one cookie, put 4 ounces of milk in a sippy cup, kicked back and ate it while listening to this. It was awsome.
Bass man Ed Carter always look young
Carter has been a Beach Boy longer than any of them....
@@chuckkirkpatrick6712 besides Al lol
Is that the Wilson sisters too?
Good lord did she get those pants spray painted on ?
Yeah, she’s a pretty girl but put on a ton of weight.
And back again 2 months later...it just gets better and better!!!
Pretty cool. Interesting that Marilyn was the inspiration for this tune and her girls are singing on the chorus. Their dad wrote the song.
What a great tune !!!!
Great observation
Who is Marilyn?
@@gitaaa7740 Brian Wilson's first wife
@@DavidHBurkart Thank you David
Smilin' Ed Carter!
Sounds great, leathers are great harmony too
Matt’s performance is 😎 awesome! 😊❤
Great show, we were there. :)
And back again! Some things just stay in your head forever!
The Beach Boys were one of a kind!

Ed Carter on bass!
Wow....amazing redition.
AS SOMEONE ONCE SANG..."IT'S A FAMILY AFFAIR"🥰
"Someone?"give proper due and respect, its the great sly from sly and the family stone
Great performance
And lol the beginning of the car songs was 409, b side of their first major label release 😂 not DWB in 64…
And back again! Can't keep me away!
Much more entertaining than the current Beach Boys line up.
It's great to see Ed again!
Nice!.........................................
My all time favorite Beach Boys tune.
Matt sings it great!!!
Absolutly
Beautiful Fantastic!
Brian Wilson's daughters up there too. Wendy and Carnie, looks like!!
Beautiful song.

They definitely do not have near perfect vocals maybe you saw them on a good night lol
This is great!
GGG great sounds beautiful the girl well think abit tight well you know 💖
Al has to be floored that his son is a chip off the block, I could listen to this all day
Great job.
Who all does he have in this version of the band? Matt sings great! Brian needs to use him when he can't get Al!
I know that's Ed Carter on bass because I took lessons from him years ago. Childhood friend of Al's, he played bass for the Beach Boys for 27 years. Good guy.
Matt has toured with Brian & Al in the past.
That is 52 year old Wendy Wilson, center.
There are people commenting on here that don't have a fucking clue. Every version never sounds the same. Just sit back and enjoy life.
I liked Lorrie Morgan Singing this with The Beach Boys too. And Kathy Tricolli too.! But Brain stacked the vocals to the ceiling so it’s really difficult to duplicate without four people harmonizing.!
Catch the cover by Foxes and Fossils. You won't be disappointed.
cant get enough
Sorry , you mean there was a song
Playing ? 😁
This WAS the b-side
Shea: There was no "B" side as far as this 45 was concerned.
These are both "A" quality songs.
I believe the old gal has used that thing a few times.
I consider Al to be the most stable and consistent singer song writer munition.
Yes she does 😊
Fantastic 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I don't know who is the originator of Don't Worry Baby, but the Beach Boys and Ronnie Spector singing Don't Worry Baby sounds better!
This is a great song.
The bass player has the best view.
The camera man did too! lol
If I were in the band I’d be afraid Al would see my wet spot.
😄😄😄
Most people today still think that this song is about a girl. It's about a car. Thanks, Al, for helping to clear that up.
It’s actually about a car race, and more specifically the narrator’s girlfriend easing his anxiety about being pressured by his friends to race, making it both a car song and a love song. Foxes and Fossils do a nice version of this song too.
Absolutely! I'm glad to see someone else appreciates foxes and fossils also! I almost prefer Fox's version better!
Foxes and Fossils covers are often better than the originals. Once you start listening to them it’s hard to stop.

😝😝😝 Wowzer !!
Those pants don't hide anything do they ?
Way Way better the Mike Loves tribute band
Her pants were a mistake.
Big yep! But who is she?
That's a heck of a nice suit.
Ahh, Redondo Beach, here we come!
Magic, so cal forever.
Mr tambourine man by the Byrds used the click click bit on guitar from this song
Don’t Worry Baby is a car song!
Nice.
If Al Jardine wasn't present, this would just be karaoke.
