It has been a joy watching all you kids growing up and working around the farm. The videos of everyone working together to make the farm work are awesome, I can't get enough! By the way, as you all get older, old Dad there ain't gettin no better looking but Mamma sure is! (Joking!)
Another great video youngin! I want to see the baby lambs🤭🤭🤔😁👍👍🙋♂️. Everyone is getting ground ready for planting here!!!. Prayers for you and your family always 🙋♂️👍🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🚜
A very big day indeed! A good days work = a good nights rest! 😊 I love seeing machinery in the fields! A sign that Spring is here!! I enjoy your videos so much! Thank you Todd family! ❤
Good to see y'all, been missing you! Springtime in Iowa, kinda like life in the trenches in WWI, cold, cloudy, and wet. This ol' farmboy had a thought... Seems those rocks you collect out of the field would go a long ways to shoring up your culvert bridge's soil. I know there might not be enough to do the whole job, but hey, a little here and little there and sooner or later you'll dump that last needed bucket load. Just thinking out loud... God bless you one and all...
Hey there Todd Family Farm! Enjoyed watching this video! Sorry we are 2 days late. Your milk cow is cute! We LOVE cows! 🐄 Happy Palm Sunday, And may God bless you!🌴✝💗

Abby, it wasn't that long ago when your You Tube site hit 300K subscribers. Presently the number is at 314K. Praise God! Of course, all your subscribers love seeing your whole family! God bless!❤
Picking up rocks. Might be a lot easier and quicker if each person would carry a 5 gallon bucket..... put the rocks in it instead of making a trip each time back to the loader. Even make piles through out the field and come back later to pick the rocks up. Saves lots of time ! And most tractors have a granny gear. Put it in low low gear.( 1 tenth mile per hour ).. and walk ahead of the tractor. Time saved !
Seeding..... I leave the seeder in the shed. Instead I take the seed to the coop..... they mix the seed into a bit of fertilizer and calibrate it to 12 foot intervals. They spread it with a truck..and I follow up with a cultipacker. Lots faster then any other way !
I've heard that you should rotate crops each year, and each crop helps the next crop with nutrients? Like putting zucchini where the cucumbers were? Could you do a video on crop rotation? And do they do a Year of rest?
It's always a pleasure to watch one of your videos!! You guys are some busy folks!! Question...and keep in mind I don't farm...why did you mix the seeds? Are those fields going to be harvested for livestock feed?
we will use the fields for hay and/or pasture. the reason we mix is, that we have a grass seed mixture in one bag and oats in the other. we mix the oats with the grass seed, the oats is a nurse crop used to protect the new seeding until it gets established. in the first field we sowed wheat as a nurse crop instead of oats. some people use rye.
Good to see farmers in the fields again. Lemuel will be taller than you Abby by this fall. Oregon is pushing laws to shut down small dairies and homesteads.
Always look fwd to your videos! So glad you have so much help!!!! Todd Family is awesome!

Never ride on outside of moving farm equipment please. Too many amputations and deaths occur that way.
