So glad that this is going to help. Next week I’m posting a video on how to start using these skin tones on a simplified portrait. Hopefully that will help as well. Keep going, you can do it! Cheers
I like your videos. You are the first colour pencil artist I follow - compared to colourists. I am learning a lot from you. This skin tone video is very helpful, especially as it uses different colours than other tutorials and shows a wider variety of tones. Though it does appear that in the first upper left block, the first two tones on the top line are described with the same pressure and colour combinations, yet the tones are different. I also feel that the pencils on screen did not match the swatch on screen one of the top line tones in block 2, and in block 5 one of the tones as coloured with no swatches of pencils being seen on screen. For me who want to reproduce your tone before experimenting on my on, this is frustrating. Though, please do not distract from how great and helpful all your tutorials are.
Terrific, easy to follow step-by-step process. Thank you!!!
Thank you for the kind comment. Cheers
Wonderful tutorial!❤
Much appreciated, Jeannette! A very useful exercise and future resource 🙂
You are very welcome. Cheers
Fantastic! I'm a beginner and I will construct my own skin tones palette basing on your suggestions. Thank you!
That’s great, glad it will help. Cheers
I have been terrified of doing skin…your video has provided the foundation for doing skin tones and understanding the process. Thank you!
