- Erika Loach specializes in custom hand lettering. Her designs are one of a kind. We wondered, What if you introduced her to CNC? What if you gave her the power to create in a new medium? What would she make? How would she adapt her art to a Shapeoko. Artistic Skills + CNC = Amazing

I now need the tutorial that teaches me to scribble beautiful handwriting ✍️
lol - I gave up on that skill a long time ago! :)
That's so cool. Thanks for sharing your process
Beautiful job!!
That looks awesome
Great project!!
Lots of thought in the design & carve, very nice work.
Carbide 3D, feel free to send a demo machine 16x16 this way to work on !!
I've been looking for the offset command in the wrong place! I expected it to be in toolpaths with stock to leave like fusion and never thought to do it in the design portion.
Wonderful!
Super good 👍👍🇳🇱
What app is being used on the iPad?
The app on the iPad is procreate. Just note that procreate is raster based and you will need to convert or trace anything you do in this back out to a vector to work with.
I'm going to be 100% honest.... when Kevin made his first video on the Shapeoko Pro where he "snuck into C3D headquarters" I thought he was like a used car salesman and didn't like his style. HOWEVER after listening to every episode of The Maker's Garage podcast and watching all the new videos on RUclips I look forward to each new episode on Spotify and on here.
Keep up the good work Kevin your a great host.
sorry hard to keep up, she talks too fast
Beautiful work. I had to go on mute though.. too many sentences ending with the question inflection at their end. Don't take it personal, it's me not you. Just a peeve of mine to listen to the younger generations attempt to convey their thoughts while ending almost every statement as if it were a question.
I wish I had your handwritten lettering skillset. Don't know if it comes natural to you or you've put in a lot of hours perfecting your niche. Either way, it was a pleasure to watch. Good job.
