The lead singer is Harry Wayne Casey (KC). He also wrote a hit song for George McRae called "Rock you baby". KC was humble enough to admit his voice couldn't do justice to the song so he asked George to sing it. Worth a listen.

If Dee isn’t aware of KC and sunshine band you’ve got to show her the other side of KC, which made them famous.

The best song KC made is Do You Wanna Go Party! For about a decade in the '70's into the '80's, this was THE song to start a party with. Even today, this song is PURE HOUSE PARTY! And I am shocked that NO ONE has made one of these reaction videos to this GREAT song!

Gawd dam I miss hearing music like this for the first time, growing up in the 70s and 80s hearing this for the first time was so cool, we never knew how good we had it back then. Music meant something, it had it all.

This was the end of KC and the Sunshine Band. They began as a great funk band became a pop band and it was over.
I loved them so much. KC was my first little girl crush. Mom took me to see them for my eleventh birthday. It was great. I'll soon be 57 and can remember those days almost like yesterday.
    Good reaction, y'all.
PS the bass player was KC's man back then. I think KC's ego and their relationship ending brought about the end of the band.

This song was KC and the Sunshine Band's 5th and last #1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 of their career. It went to #1 during the early winter of 1980. This song also was the first #1 hit song of the 1980s according to Billboard Magazine. A beautiful song indeed!!!

Love this song, this was one of my favorites. He's a little bit older here and you're used to hearing him perform with the band behind him blasting. This is a love song, so the band is toned down tremendously so you can actually hear more of his voice with no back ups.

I used to sing this song to my “Frendy” to guilt him into staying longer. He used to laugh at me when I started singing , “Babe” badly out of tune..because he knew I was openly trying to manipulate him. He passed away on 2016 quite suddenly. He changed my life, and he still looks after me. He’s my angel. This song will always remind me of him.

I have some very fond memories with this band. When it came on the radio my sisters and I would sing this song together and practice swooning🤣 One of the great disco bands of the 70's. KC also did some solo songs with a few other famous artists that was also really popular. However, I'd like to introduce you and Dee to another artist, and I think you will be pleasantly surprised when hearing it. Because I believe 2Pac sampled this song "Bruce Hornsby & The Range - That's The Way It Is - on Countdown 1986 (Live)" I can't wait to hear both your reactions. I really enjoy your channel Chod & Dee. Thanks for providing some really great content 🎶🤗

She ain't gotta clue to this music . . She's just smiling for the video and trying to go along with it . . . Sesame Street would probably be a more substantial video for her . . . She always has that look like I'll just smile and act like I know what's going on with this music . . . And she just seems to have this attitude it's not right and she ain't got a clue do any other kind of music .
