Years ago, all the little 12 year old girls on the swim team (myself included) swooned over Mr. Lochte. In retrospect, we were at the same point as him intellectually.

Hahahaha I was 16, also a swimmer, and I’ll never forget seeing him do an interview where he was explaining that he had a picture of rocks as the background on his phone because he “likes rocks” 🪨 i responded by saying “why is it the better the swimmer the dumber they seem to be does all that time in the pool cause the chlorine get to their brains?”

I could watch Sheinelle Jones and Mike Jerrick losing their minds over how uncharismatic Ryan Lochte is for HOURS, this is one of my favorite videos of all time.
Ryan Lochte is the living embodiment of the lights being on but nobody being home.
This really helps me to understand what goes on in the mind of a man who decides to lie about being mugged: nothing much.

He didn’t lie, they really did point a gun at him and force him to give them money. Twisted the story a little sure but what the security guards did to him would be aggravated assault in the US.

That was my favorite part. He's trying to communicate a bathroom design where the vanity is open in the bedroom and separate from the toilet and shower area, which is much more private. But oh yeah, that part made me laugh so hard.

When Mike says “he’s into water sports”, I lost it. They were so professional and the comments are priceless. I snorted this morning reading them. Every year FB memories serves this up and I lose half an hour rewatching.

+SwitcherooU Actually Mike Jerrick is awesome! He has been on Fox Goodday Philly for a long time, and he has always been hilarious. He left briefly when Fox Cable News hired him, but he definitely didn't fit in there, he's too real, so he thankfully came back here to Philly. He is funny, but not at all smug or a bastard. He makes the morning news funny.

Shinelle Jones is a very beautiful news anchor, because right after that story they’ve done I remember seeing this woman’s beautiful face just start breaking down in tears while laughing because of what they have said or done on that story there, and she could not stop laughing because she said that she’s losing an eyelash during that time of that laughter.
First time watching the whole thing and I just realize that he actually was throwing shade towards Michael Phelps when he was describing that he does more than just eat and train 24/7. Well Ryan that's why Michael Phelps has more gold medals than you do. In fact, most of the gold medals you have are BECAUSE of Michael Phelps.
I think Lochte is too simple to throw shade. He's too laid back and chill to have beef with anybody. He reminds me of Goku.
