Going to pick up my first pair of used Dan post python boots right now. They look to be in good shape and for the price I’m getting them for I can’t complain at all. I hope they break into my feet relatively easy! Cheers from Canada eh 🍻🇨🇦😎
Exotics on the second hand market are fun. Just scored a pair of beeyoutifull Luchesse 2083 goatskin s for $25 bucks at my local goodwill, and a pair of Tony Lama Teju Lizards for $80 on ebay. With re-heels, strip, condition, and polish I'm all in at around $175 for 2 pairs of the nicest city boots you could ask for.
Bought a pair of black double h for 5 bucks. Throw in an extra ten for the dye, conditioner, and polish. And for the most part they look new and fit me great.
I’ve started to look at my local vintage/antique shops and I’m shocked by how many name brand cowboy boots you can find in decent shape and for a good price. The only trouble I have is that it’s hard to find my size. Thankfully I found a pair of black cherry lucchese boots that actually fit me perfectly, I managed to find they are called The Seville and it’s made of goatskin
I bought a pair of Vintage Python boots from a guy in Texas on eBay last year. These are Laredo boots back when they made them in the USA. Only wore once and on carpet the soles did not have any wear on them at all. I absolutely love this boot. I just now broke them in and it’s absolutely amazing. I also have a pair of Tony Lama Ostrich boots with a medium round toe. Tony Lams doesn’t make this boot anymore but I have to say the leather TL uses is absolutely soft and supple it’s like wearing silk around your feet. What’s your opinion about Tony Lama Ruslo boots? That’s their black bullhide 11 inch shaft.
You posted this as soon as I was looking on ebay bro! I saw a pair of ostrich rios of Mercedes boots with some tony lama snake boots being sold for $200 for both!
Great videos, I love the original music! Just purchased a very similar used pair and I had a question - can you treat these boots with Bick 4 and normal polish or does it require something special?
Good find, where i am at its hard finding a good used boot. Even our local goodwill and thrift stores never really carry said items. Thanks for another video Jeremiah your my fav channel besides the walking Dead one
Jeremiah, I just found your RUclips. Very interesting on your 2510. I have a Tony lama 8540 that was my late husband's size 101/2 D that I'm wanting to sell. I'm not locating pictures of that particular one online . Soles are original but one will need replaced in time. and I was wondering if maybe you could advise pricing.
Hey Jeremiah, I’m sure you’re tired of hearing about Tecovas but I’d like to see your take on their new ranch wear boots and how they compare and hold up to other work boots you’ve tried like the Hondos.
I would love to but I need a sponsor in order to get boots since I can't afford them myself. I'm working hard to get sponsors on a regular basis and once I do the Tecovas Ranch Wear line is up near the top of the list! Stay tuned!
Hi Jeremiah. I have a pre-worn pair of Lizards by Cavenders Boots in Texas. Does this brand sell well in pre-worn category? They are in very good condition and I was thinking of having them resoled but I'm going to rethink that after watching this video. They are original soles. You can faintly see the Cavenders logo. I'm also at a loss on estimate and have to research. Thanks for your information and videos, and your music.
I've found two pair on the second hand market, one a half size smaller than I normally wear and one a half size larger, both in D width. What would you suggest to clean and recondition the leather on the 6250's? I've recently subscribed to your channel and really enjoy the content, it's been very helpful in my last couple of purchases and certainly has reignited my love for boots! Edit: No more than an hour after writing this I found the 6250's in 8D on ebay. Must be my lucky day, lol.
Jeremiah, I have a pair of the same 6250's which I also bought used and love them. Can you let us know how you clean & condition them to preserve the unique 'matte' finish? I sent an email to TL customer support asking for their recommendation but got nothing but crickets.
They're awesome right?! Mine were conditioned wrong before I got them so they don't have the distressed nubuck finish you like. I have another pair of Hondo's that have that type of leather and I use Scout Distressed leather conditioner and once that's dried I brush it with a plastic bristle brush to agitate the leather so it gets that texture I like.
And yes.. they are awesome (even though they required some gentle stretching on one of the boot toe boxes). It turns out that the Shrunken Shoulder bullhide is very durable *and* sufficiently pliable. I'm very happy with these boots. As much as I love my TL 6250's, you gotta see the Vintage amber-colored Panhandle Slim Elephant hide boots I just scored! They put a smile on my face every time I see them in my closet (on days when I'm not even wearing them).
I was shamed on Reddit for buying used boots. Gentlemen said that "a man should never wear boots that another man's foot has been in." The jokes on him because I have a ton of awesome boots at great prices. Nothing wrong with saving money and going used. I've got rattlesnake and elephant which is something I would never buy new due to price.

Always keep my eye out for a good quality traditional made used boot in my size.
Smart man!!

Black with red stitched toe bug and side stiching under a c note. Like brand new very nice indeed.
I just ordered a pair of 6252 shrunken shoulders myself.I love the look of these boots.Great tips.
NICE! That's the same thing as these 6250s except with a J toe right?
@@JeremiahCraig pretty sure,it looks pretty round to me.although i do not know much
Either way great score man. Congrats. I really like this boot a lot. Let me know what you think when yours arrive!
I sure will
I just bought a nice pair of Tony Lama Aztec boots on eBay they are amazing!!!
That's what I'm talking about!! Congrats!

I agree! Can't wait to do a video about Rios of Mercedes boots
I have the brown version of these. Love them. So comfortable. Mine are vintage as well. Vintage are much more comfortable for some reason.
I agree!
Great videos, I love the original music! Just purchased a very similar used pair and I had a question - can you treat these boots with Bick 4 and normal polish or does it require something special?
Great pair of boots for sure. Glad Brynna was able to get them for you for Christmas. You lucky guy.
Pulled the plug....bought a pair of D.P. Milwaukee boots (vintage) From eBay. 11d r toe all .original. Hard insole also.

Goodwill has a shopping website like ebay too. It's always a good resource. Most of the used boots I get are purchased online.
@@JeremiahCraig oh really? I did not know that. I will check it out definitely thanks man.
I'm bidding on the same pair right now

What's the best way to disinfect/clean the insides of used boots?
