motion graphics were mesmerizing and beautifully in sync in the music
We got a bunch of art critics on RUclips all of a sudden! Geez
This video depicts change, while the eye(perciever) is brought to tears(note the lightning in the sky and the eye, followed by rain/tears.) by the serenity/stillness of life. All the while the tune is unchanging. These are my thoughts. Great work.
This is amazing, there's so much detail in every movement.
beautiful song, beautiful video
Holy mother of motion graphics. I love it.
Hypnotic!
I love this album!
Awesome!!
Very bold. I love it.
outstanding ambient track, nice graphics.
Perfect
magnífic!!

nice meditative piece. I certainly see the seasons and the relation of terrestrial and celestial.
shivers
Love me some post rock.
biut ifulllllll
youtube will bring out all sorts of different experts in the comments jeeeez
pro tip: while playing this on your mobile device, hold your device (landscape) about 4 or 5 inches away from your face, relax your focus and stare at the midde of the screen (basically doubling your vision). enjoy!
#applause
Has anyone else noticed that this track sounds an awful lot like the band Bohren und der club of Gore?
There's only one thing I have to say...
Illuminati confirmed.
Climate changes... Got it.
Hi, I'm a big fan of visual poetry but this seemed like a series of disjointed symbols without a coherent message.
One commenter mentioned climate change as the theme but I just don't see that expressed in this piece.
Good effort, it just needs a little refining.
Maybe look back to the evolutionary progression animation that was so brilliantly executed in the original Cosmos presented by Carl Sagan for inspiration. Thanks.
Just cuz u don't get it doesnt mean there isn't a message, it's just more abstract that you want it to be
to me this song without a visual representation used to be ultra calming. this video however seems to be the exact opposite. the motions are too quick and precise, and honestly the images require too much thinking for such a chill song. i would prefer a long loop of the cat from 1:01 playing. this style of video matched closer with the first track of the album (that video works really well) but this one should have been in a different style.
song is beautiful though, i sometimes just put it on repeat
Anyone who has gotten visuals from opiates will understand
I was not so impressed but I see they are using alpha brainwave music
I liked it ok, but it felt a bit redundant melodically. The same four notes played over and over again for four and a half minutes with a plate reverb wash of feedback periodically does not a song make, it makes for a nice mood, but it's not long enough to sit inside that mood and it's not short enough for four notes to make a song in my opinion. This band needs more work, I suggest listening to Red House Painters and Low and then trying again guys, but nice effort and I did enjoy the music video.
+Zoe Butcher You sound very arrogant. Just because you know what they used it doesn't make your opinion more valid. "Nice effort and i did enjoy the music video". Holy shit??? You might aswell shut the fuck up. This band is making incredible music that people enjoy, how can you say they need more work. im an idiot for even writing this comment but if TWDY would see this comment they probably would just laugh their ass of.
Steven Gibson U first bitch

im sorry it doesn't fit your criteria of a song. Many countries have their entire traditional and song music base in simple, four or less note music. Is Brian Eno's abstract ambient music not songs either? Recordings of silence can be considered a song, what on earth is so bad about playing 4 notes and using lots of effects if people and the band really enjoy listening to it. They don't need your support fuck off
Jack Thompson LaBradford, Bowery Electric, Stars of the Lid, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Tortoise, Slint, Flying Saucer Attack, etcetera all had or still have the right amount of effects, chords, notes, and space in their albums. This Will Destroy You did as well until they got upset at being branded post rock as if it was some kind of insult which is patently ridiculous Jack, instead they made another album that isn't that much different than the last, but with a lot more droning and repetition than before and more looping and less soundscaping and soundtracking in my opinion, for whatever reason they rechristened themselves as "DOOMGAZE". I knew right then and there they're as cheesy and as big a poseurs as the "WITCHHOUSE" genre. I'm from Texas, but I will not support poseurs. I support musicians and artists who aren't stuck up their own arses, Sorry.
+Zoe Butcher Nice meme
