    I don’t think Big wrote that song thinking of Pac but Diddy most definitely knew what he was doing dropping it at that time. Diddy played with Bigs life and was responsible for him losing it.

    • @larryscott8423
      @larryscott8423 Год назад +3

      The person who killed Big is responsible, let’s not get that twisted. If dropping a song at an in-opportune time made you responsible for another grown man’s actions, then rap music would have been banned.

    • @JacobC479
      @JacobC479 Год назад +21

      @@larryscott8423 Diddy is responsible for setting up the situation that got Big killed. Security told him that 3 different people had told them they were coming to kill then that night since they were leaving the next day. What did Diddy say? “You don’t gotta go then.” Big was supposed to be in London when he got killed, Diddy called Kirk Burrows and told him to cancel it. He was determined to go to that party and show his ass and get a little money and it cost Big his life. That security guard, Gene Deal, is the only reason Diddy didn’t get shot up. Diddy wouldn’t let Gene ride on the car how he wanted and made him get in the back seat, then moved the seat all the way back. Gene told the driver to run the next three lights. They ran the light, Big didn’t. If Diddy wouldn’t have made the decisions he made then Big would still be here.

    For those too slow to grasp what he’s saying….He literally stated Biggie didn’t write the song thinking it was about Tupac. The fact the song was written, recorded, and meant for an entire different Mary J. album speaks to as much. In this interview, he’s asserting Puff released the song in a way to antagonize and stir up public discussion, hence bringing more attention to the song. Even thought it wasn’t specifically about Tupac, he designed to the release to create an association.

    Clickbait title. Who Shot Ya was a song Biggie already had in the stash. Lil Cease said that 2Pac was around them at the time and knew of the songs existence. Side note: If we can believe everything Napoleon to be true then we can believe Cease on this too. If you actually LISTEN to the song which a lot of people don’t you would realize the “shooter” was Biggie. He jacked that skit at the end from Nurse Dre off The Chronic album. The song was hot and NOT about 2Pac so why hold back its release. Bad Boy maintained that they had nothing to do with Quad so they’re not thinking this is gonna aggravate 2Pac. Kirk Burrowes didn’t say Puffy told HIM that that’s definitely what’s what. This is his interpretation with YEARS of hindsight down the line. Pac was playing dumb about the song for controversy and the audience is just as dumb for believing that. The only reason Pac went on a rampage was because Biggie made a name for himself by then. Biggie himself admitted that in the Luke interview. Pac was too talented for all of that. I think there was a lot of movie making and manipulation of the public in this whole thing. The natural fact is Biggie and Puffy did NOT shoot 2Pac. Direct that anger towards the people that ACTUALLY caused you harm. People in general don’t want to face their REAL enemy and take things out on the wrong people.
