This would be a big no for me, the problem I have with products that have built in batteries is that I don’t use them enough, if I can’t replace the battery when it dies then I end up throwing it away, waste of money, as a DIYer I don’t wash my cars every week so this may sit on the shelf for a while, thanks for the video comparison 👍😁
it has been tested and tried the issue is you need rapid PSI pump of the compressor and inflator otherwise youll get a slow lazy foam as shown in this video. I think it can be done but nobody has stepped up to create such device yet
I thought I was listening for a moment to HonestlyOCD as he tells it like it is. You can buy several brilliant finish foam cannons for that price and then really get some good foam.

Going to have to skip on the Griots foamer. $150 is too much, too slow and no coverage for my liking. A hand pump for 20 or your solo foamer for $40 works for me. Back to the drawing board for Griots. Thanks for the video even though it didn't go as planned.
concept sounds promising but not one manufacture has created a proper self activated foamer yet, sprayers yes but not foamers in due time we will see if it happens.
@@autofanaticcars maybe it good for just wheel and tires. I could see using it for that if you wanted to used a different soap on them or something. Idk. I used an electric pressure washer with a foam gun and I can cover my QV in minutes.
None of those foamers worth the money , the griots have a horrible design and the solo es so expensive, I will keep my IK pro 2 with the valve and only 40 dollars you can’t beat that
I certainly was curious to try it but disappointed the technology just isn’t there yet. Cordless sprayer work excellent i have many Solo cordless sprayers i use often but to make a proper cordless foamer the built in air compressor needs to be 200% faster

Think about trying the 303 with a bicycle hand or floor pump like a Park Tool or Zefal mini pump, do you think it will pressurize the sprayer?

The Solo foamer is me at 25 & the Griot's is me at 44. Lol. Still works, but just a lil slower.
I wonder if someone rigged up a foamer with a milwaukee M12 or M18 inflator on-board - how well would that work?

Does the griots not pump up to full pressure first then shut off?
No pumping required it’s battery powered but it sucks as video shows

Yep the concept of a self activated foamer was a brilliant idea but the technology just isn’t there yet to make it a proper reality

This unit has a 60min battery but at the sleepy pace it works youll run of of juice waiting around

Solo is under $50 thats not expensive it blows away every other compact foamer in performance

the Solo foamers are awesome and for the money can not be beat for what else is on the market.
