Hi Matt, Thanks for the very clear explanation on this game. I've watched a video on the Blitz site and it wasn't so good. Love the "legalized prostitution" comment...too funny! I read a lot of Amish books (fiction/non-fiction) and someone is always playing Dutch Blitz. You need to grow your goatee out to a beard and you could pass as Amish. ;o) Danke Sehr
Does it mater which card u use in the wood pile? Like if I put out three cards, but only the second one works can I play that card even though I didn't play the card on top?
You can and you can score if you ensure the decks have different designs on their back. Though the colour is fun and possibly easier to play with younger children.
This game is so much fun. Can you even get this game if you don't live in Lancaster County? My expansion pack doesn't include legalized prostitution. I feel cheated.
What happen if someone calls out BLITZ but other players have some spaces in their post piles? can they move card from their blitz pile to fill those spaces before to count points?

You have to play the card on top.
Wish I had watched this video before buying those cards. I didn't know you could just use a regular deck of playing cards.

Well you can, if you don't care about keeping score. And you'd need four decks of cards.

No, the round ends as soon as Blitz is called out. At least, that's how we read it.
