I miss those times because I feel like this 24/7 social media world we're in now is exhausting. I think also like 2008-2013 will be remembered as the golden age for mixtape rappers who released everything on datpiff. So many of those guys now release major albums

I can't honestly say I was a fan up until a few days before he died. My buddies like "man I know you don't listen to rap or hip hop a lot but you gotta hear the new Mac Miller LP" and I've been listening to it ever since. He's always been talented I just never really was into the genre. Fucking amazing that he was writing good shit back when I was in highschool and he was still young as shit
My bro passed away 12 years ago today, this was the song he showed me that introduced me to Mac's music, I'm glad he did, Mac is one of my favorite artists n now that both him n my bro r gone it hits so much harder 😔
This was the first song I ever heard from Mac, hooked instantly. I can only imagine how this will affect the future of rap with his passing. Rest In Peace to easy Mac with the cheesy raps ☝🏻
Rest In Peace Mac. Your music helped me and so many others during our darkest days. You will be greatly missed. The impact you made on your fans will not fade.
I’m hurting so much. I was just 11 years old searching on RUclips and I came across this song called “Koolaid & Frozen Pizza.” 11 year old me was like wtf lol and just clicked on it. And ever since then, I fell in love with Mac. I loved this song and started clicking on other videos. BDE was my favorite. I also remember his announcement for his first album, BSP. The video was hilarious I remember I just found him so great and humble and I wanted to meet him so bad. I was so happy when I bought tickets for his Devine feminine tour in NY. I saw him live and the concert was great! One of the greatest nights of my life. The day he passed away I was working and my boyfriend had texted me that he died. My heart shattered and I was about to cry in front of everyone. I had to put myself together because I was at work but I really just wanted to go home and cry after I found out. R.I.P Malcom ♥️ you were such a talented & great person. I’m so sad it ended this way. I just wish you were still alive 😔♥️
Me to bro i was like the same exact age living at my grandmas house. This was the first song I came across i was like 10 years old I'm 20 now shit's changed a lot.
Grew up to this song spending all these summer nights outside with friends blasting this song. I wouldn't change a thing about my youth. Would do everything the same way again.
Marcus Aurelius are you insane? She just commented her sadness about the passing of such a talented young man. Stop hating for no reason, you must be really unhappy with your life
These Mac songs like this one and others from this era will soon be considered classics in the next decade. Damn, how time flies. Will forever miss you Mac Miller. Thank you for making the soundtracks and anthems to our youth. ❤🙏🙏
I just can't believe he's gone. He looks so bright and active in this video. Rest In Peace Mac miller, you are the first musician I've ever loved from the first time and you will be remembered forever in my heart.
I was in elementary school when this came out, now I’m a legal adult in college. Crazy how fast time flies, before I know it I’ll be 80 looking back at life and wishing I did more
I remember listening to this when my homies and me were smoking weed and playing basketball. Behind the court was a small playground with two swings and everytime the part at 1:58 came on I was looking at the swings just to see there's nothing. Seriously, I fell for it several times but it somehow always made me smile afterwards. Thanks for the good memories..
Every time I get back to this song, I realize how time is running. Yesterday I graduated from high school and now I’m 25. Enjoy your ride everyone, there is no second round. That feels depressing…
It's crazy, I was in my mid 20s and working for a hip hop website when those dropped. This was nostalgic to my youth, I loved everything about NYC- Rawkus Records, Kids, Stretch & Bobbitoooo, etc. Now I'm just old trying to tell everyone how hype it used to be lol
Was born same year as him. Legit went through a lot of the same stuff at the same time. Sucks to lose a legend. R.I.P. I wish the best to anyone struggling.
Bmxing outside in summer break during middle school, hanging with friends, being young and just living life. I really love this video because it lets me relive those days, when i first heard this.
kids like me who was in high school during this Mac era will always appreciate his music the most...use to get my ass CUT in school for liking early Mac now everyone loves him
Kool Aid & Frozen Pizza: " They can't understand my concept, I've been climbing up the great wall, haven't had a fall yet..." Self Care: Yeah, well, climbing over that wall, I remember yes I remember yes I remember it all, swear the height be too tall, so like September I fall..."
Mac Miller has come a long way. I love this style of music, chilled out, slow beat, and a nice melody. It all fits together, his music now is still so great. He's gone from the kicked back, happy-go-lucky, teenage dude to a really philosophical, intelligent, relate-able guy. I hope soon he releases another album like K.I.D.S. This was such a master-piece and one of my favorite Mac Miller mixtapes of all time.
Nav Sahota I feel you, RIP! Head up brother, we must move forward. It would have been mac dream to for us to continue living and spreading his music. Stay safe!

Not many of you may know this, but the beat is actually from Lord Finesse - “Hip To The Game” released in 1996. I’m glad to see credit given in the description. What’s funny about this is, Lord Finesse is the type of dude you’d say was “Macking” or “being a Mack” back in the original 1996 song. Love that he was able to reuse the beat and make a masterpiece. R.I.P. Mac your spirit will live on for years to come.
Lord Finesse is a Legend, a master of lyrics. All u Mac Miller fans that like this track go listen to Hip 2 Da Game and see where this sound came about. R.i.p. Mac Miller for keeping it real

He held my 14 year old hand at a concert. I can’t listen to his new stuff, hurts me too much. It’s like a family member. Pain is truly real
I feel this way too and a lot people just dont understand.
@@lizthegreat3122 the real ones do bro

Music is changing, this is the real shit. These days kids like to listen to music rapping about drugs and murder. It’s so fucking sad.

I knew u were a girl when u said u went to his divine feminine tour
I dont understand why this only has 70 likes
😥
Me to bro i was like the same exact age living at my grandmas house. This was the first song I came across i was like 10 years old I'm 20 now shit's changed a lot.

Grew up to this song spending all these summer nights outside with friends blasting this song. I wouldn't change a thing about my youth. Would do everything the same way again.

Marcus Aurelius are you insane? She just commented her sadness about the passing of such a talented young man. Stop hating for no reason, you must be really unhappy with your life

14 years ago you released this banger of an album Mac, changed my view on music and my way of living. You are an icon. Long Live Mac Miller
well nowadayas only real prodigy SIXMYFACE can be close to Mac Miller
I was in elementary school when this came out, now I’m a legal adult in college. Crazy how fast time flies, before I know it I’ll be 80 looking back at life and wishing I did more
Damn this comment hit hard
What should you do?
Do more then. Risks are how we fail and succeed. Success doesn’t bring growth, failure does. Do things with no fear of failure. You’ll do more.

HURRR DURRR!!! you just said " don't GO* that far he (wasnt**) was not no king"???
I remember listening to this when my homies and me were smoking weed and playing basketball. Behind the court was a small playground with two swings and everytime the part at 1:58 came on I was looking at the swings just to see there's nothing. Seriously, I fell for it several times but it somehow always made me smile afterwards.
Thanks for the good memories..
Bruh same.... R.I.P. Mac
Every time I get back to this song, I realize how time is running. Yesterday I graduated from high school and now I’m 25. Enjoy your ride everyone, there is no second round. That feels depressing…
It's really been 8 years since I found out about your music rip Larry fisherman
say what you want about it, this mixtape and kush and oj defined a generation of teens
TheMikeMase 100% facts
im one of those. I was also playing alot of kudi too. great times.

Lol
kids like me who was in high school during this Mac era will always appreciate his music the most...use to get my ass CUT in school for liking early Mac now everyone loves him
BRO!! They used to cut my ass too!!! And I gave not one single solitary F%&k!!
Kool Aid & Frozen Pizza: " They can't understand my concept, I've been climbing up the great wall, haven't had a fall yet..."
Self Care: Yeah, well, climbing over that wall, I remember yes I remember yes I remember it all, swear the height be too tall, so like September I fall..."
Bro theres no way you acknowledge this.
Now is more sad fuck
@@stevenjavierlopezortiz7544 fuck. thats all i got. just fuck.
he died in September too. That's crazy.
I noticed this since when damn can’t believe that happened
Mac Miller has come a long way. I love this style of music, chilled out, slow beat, and a nice melody. It all fits together, his music now is still so great. He's gone from the kicked back, happy-go-lucky, teenage dude to a really philosophical, intelligent, relate-able guy. I hope soon he releases another album like K.I.D.S. This was such a master-piece and one of my favorite Mac Miller mixtapes of all time.

Yeah Lord Finesse was really good.
Lord Finesse is a Legend, a master of lyrics. All u Mac Miller fans that like this track go listen to Hip 2 Da Game and see where this sound came about. R.i.p. Mac Miller for keeping it real
He couldn’t use this beat until he coughed up 10 million to Lord Finesse for using this beat. I Iove Lord but he was a d*** for this move man!
Who’s here in 2024? RIP The Greatest MAC
