I was born in the fall, so it's my natural season. Sweaters, great food, cozy blankets, and shopping without the inconvenience of sweat. Still, congrats to Donna. Bring on more Church Ladies!!
I was born in Fall too, my birthday is in November.
There's one thing that makes fall superior and it starts with College and ends with Football. Also, fall is when people start making apple cider and Halloween is the second best holiday of the year. Donna is everybody's favorite aunt and Talia must be protected at all costs.
So that argument could be persuaded if they moved the D1 league to a winter to spring sport??? I'm an advocate that the only good thing in winter is Christmas and football.....I'm a Summer guy....but watching a sport , from home, doesn't make the whole season the rest of the 6 days ( 7 if you work on GameDay) worth it.
As someone who constantly gets bitten by mosquitoes even with mosquito spray, I definitely think fall is much better than spring. Also, I like how Donna's shirt perfectly matches the curtain behind her.

I’m with Talia on this. The cooler months are best because that’s when all the bugs die and I personally like being able to step outside for a few moments and not be swarmed by mosquitoes and wasps

Fall is the best, hands down. Talia forgot the best thing about fall, though...that SMELL. You know the one I mean...the crisp, hint-of-winter, smoky leaves smell that you only get in autumn. But the lack of bugs was her best point. I can't agree enough with that.
I don't know what states they're in, but in Louisiana and Florida, spring and summer are the same thing.
Fall is more like spring, with temps between 60-80. In the winter, it stays up towards the 70s...you might get temps between 40-60 , randomly, a day here and a day there... if you're very LUCKY.
In La. and Fl., fall is spring, and winter is fall.
I probably haven't worn more than a windbreaker in the entire 12 years I've been in Florida. And La., where I'm actually from, is like a sauna until you hit Jan-Feb, when it becomes bitterly cold, windy, and rainy....well, it did 12 years ago. I don't know about now.
They must live in the part of the South that has a vague approximation of that elusive phenomenon called "seasons." 😂
I was a Florida child, and yeah we definitely get a better variety up here!😂 just wish we would get that snow I was promised when we moved! Hasn’t given us more than a dusting three years in a row…. Definitely love falls up here though☺️ it is the most perfect season ever to be created!🍂
Love these Hash Out episodes. Donna made some awesome arguments, but FALL has always been my favorite season. Cooler weather and Halloween stuff.
Fall so much better than the spring. The fall comes in and saves you from the oppressive heat with a nice Cool Breeze all over you. After months of baking in the humidity it feels good to have that nice crisp air flow over you

Nothing you say can make me change my mind- fall is better. Long sleeves, hats, scarves, gloves, BLANKETS (did I mention I’m obsessed with blankets?), hot chocolate, and yes, cold weather. Donna lost me on her first opening statement of who wants cold weather? I do! I’ll take freezing temps over 90 degree weather any day. As long as there’s no snow or ice involved, I’m good. (I hate driving in it.) plus- with spring comes pollen
Fall is the most wonderful time of the year. I love everything about. It has the best month...October and the best holiday...Halloween. I love the colors and smells. I love the decoration. You have Punkin everything. Vacations are cheaper and kids are in school. There are corn maze, Punkin patches, fall festivals, leaf peepin, apple cinder everything, haunted houses, big chunky sweaters, Thanksgiving dinner, and all the bugs have gone back to hell!!!
As a Floridian, I can positively say that Florida doesn't have a Fall. Let alone, an abbreviated Spring. Summer 9 out of 12 months each year. 🌀🔥🌞
It has 4 distinct season. Hot, hotter, Hell and then 3 weeks of cool.

Team fall here! Fall always feels like new beginnings to me. The school year begins, football season. Those nice cool breezes after a hot summer. The holidays begin and the anticipation for Christmas (Black Friday is in fall!) A personal bias here with a November birthday,
I deal with allergies all year long; but love all seasons. Ryan making a Cameo appearance was awesome!
Spring is the best! The days get longer, you can go outside in light clothes again, bees are freed from their hives and start making honey again, flowers bloom, and tornadoes are exciting!!!

Fall is definitely the superior season. With the question of daylight savings, that actually comes in the Spring; we come off daylight savings in the Fall. Always nice to gain that extra hour of sleep. While, yes, Easter is in the spring, Thanksgiving is a more widely celebrated holiday and more typically American. Also, there are all the Christmas preparations at the end. Fall is certainly a better time for those who like to decorate!

Thats a tough one. I love both Spring and Fall. I like to garden so I love seeing everything come alive after winter. I enjoy rain, and the weather is milder than in summer. I love Fall activities and holidays, the food, the coziness...I guess in my book Fall would win but its pretty close. I live in the Midwest so our seasons are pretty distinct.
Fall without bugs is the best! The best decorations, Thanksgiving and planning for Christmas. Also Daylight Saving time STARTS in the Spring and Ends in the Fall for all you haters out there. Not to mention pumpkin everything, and boots!

Donna did make a compelling argument for spring. Listening to her, I really FELT spring (the idyllic storybook/Hollywood spring - spring here in the southwest is 90°+ heat and gale-force winds blowing dirt from the mesa all over everything 🙄)
Id rather fall than my eyes being swollen shut nonestop in spring.
another thing I like about Fall is my grass and weeds stop growing so I don't have to mow and weedeat all the time.

Fall is fantastic because the leaves are changing colors.
But Daylight Savings transition happens in both Spring and Fall, and in the Fall you get an extra hour. If the Daylight Savings change is a factor, I'd say that Fall wins on that aspect.

Wow, this would be a tough one for me...Fall means cooler weather, so you can break our the jeans and sweaters; the leaves are turning and they sound amazing crunching under my feet as I can finally take long, brisk walks any time of day...BUT, the days start getting shorter and it starts to get dark earlier in the evening. Then there is Spring where things are starting to come back awake with new leaves; flowers start shooting up from the ground and begon blooming; crittters and birds are showing up with their new babies; you can put away the winter clothes and open the windows for a cool breeze and fresh air; you may still need a sweater or light jacket in the early morning or night, but you can let the sunlight in as days grow longer. This really is a hard call.....

Spring: new life, flowers blooming, beautiful birds returning, magnolia and cherry trees, Memorial Day weekend is in spring, and sunny days are getting longer, fragrant and warmer. Fall: death, cold, limited produce selection, darker days, hurricanes and random freak snow storms. Forget fall.

Spring and fall pretty much the same thing. Hear me out. Winter is cold and rainy and even snowy. Then you finally get some relief with some nice weather and you don't have to wear a coat. Fall. You spent all summer almost dying of heat stroke and can't even go outside without almost passing out. So there are good and bad to all seasons

It's a better debate than the one that just finished in Atlanta.
After a long winter there is no one who doesn't look forward to Spring. All those beautiful colors popping up in the garden. All the birds and rabbits and other little critters stopping by to say "Hi!" and introduce the babies - it's the best.

i like fall better. You have an excuse to watch all the halloween movies. After picking out your pumpkin and going on a hay ride. What other season has haunted houses and trick or treating. After all fall is one family tradition after another.
