Bruv I got goosebumps! I don't know why Maiden doesn't play this live more often, its one of my favs on In time. IMO one of Nicko's best. Im no drummer but it seems technical , especially the break down with the snare and the hi hat simultaneously. Great ending album song too with the gong at the end. I really enjoy your production, the sounds are clear, perfectly blended as if your drumming is what is really on the produced song. Thank you for sharing!!! Up the Greatness!
Amazing song and brilliant drumming like always. I would like to ask on 7:13 and 7:20 you hold your stick over the hi-hat , maybe because you open hi hat. I don't understand how you play that part and what kind of note is that. Sorry for the question. Just learning by myself.

Thanks! Yep you are correct, I hit the hi-hat while closing it and rest my hand up high, to prepair for the next hit.
You never whack the sticks against the rims of those toms? I don't know the purpose, but impressive electronics set up too.
Sometimes on purpose but it really isn’t a problem since I’ve had them at that angle for so long🤷♂️. The electronics is my recording gear
