Iron Maiden have been my favorite metal band since I was 13 in 83, first album I heard was piece of mind and was blown away, power slave is one of my favorite albums and this song is absolutely phenomenal, you played this to a perfect science and thank you so much for making this, you're the best drummer I've seen on here without a doubt. Totally spot on.
This is the best drum cover I have watch in youtube so far sincerely. I listen to this song every single day during my teenage days and I can remember nearly all the different nuance in this song. Hope u can do other maiden songs like Alexander the great and phantom of the opera soon.

Johnny LiceBow Thanks! Yeah you could say I was a bit obsessed with learning maiden songs growing up, but I've also found that it really helps mimicking (a bit) the movement over the drumkit of the artist I'm trying to cover.

Thanks, It's a Starclassic Performer birch shell 5.5x14. Batter head is Aquarian Hi-energy (I think it was Nick Menza's signature head) and the snare side is a regular Ambassador snare hazy. I think a lot of the sound comes from the die cast hoops on both top and bottom.
