Word. I was highly skeptical going into it, having read a few of the books and being disappointed with Cruise not having the physique. But it was really good. Now I hear he's bulked up for the second season. Not good. He needs to be somewhat lithe and sneaky strong with his fighting skills. We'll see.
You can sense that Alan Is such a humble person despite his muscles, his dedication to his family is his pride and his wife is so lucky to have met such a wonderful human being I'm so amaze by Reacher and can't wait to see season 2 and i hope one day there's a dedicated movie where he played JACK REACHER because I genuinely think he's best suited for the role

I saw Tom's movies before I knew there were books. Based on that though the acting was good. But after reading one of the books and seeing the first season have to fully agree Ritchson is miles better portrail of Reacher.

Reacher was a great series. I binge watch. I honestly didn’t think it would be good but I was wrong. They had a great supporting cast as well. He definitely was the right person to cast as Reacher. I am waiting for the next season to start already 😂. What a great video. I didn’t know any of this. The icing on the cake is his family. It’s satisfying to see a happy family life. It’s also great to find out he is genuinely a great person in real life. That makes me like him even more. I hope Amazon picks up many more seasons of this series.

Have been a long-time fan of the Jack Reacher novels by Lee Child. I felt Tom Cruise was totally miscast and it was difficult to swallow how Hollywood could get a character so wrong, and why Mr. Child went along with it. Finally, they found the perfect guy. Although now, Alan is far more handsome than his written character, he is totally believable. As for his personal life, I hope he keeps his fame in perspective and continues to value what is most precious, his family and the love they share. It is so refreshing to read about famous people who don't change partners every few years, and create one extended family after another.
It’s like Lee Child saw Alan and then wrote Reacher.. that’s how right he is in the part. The fact Alan is a good actor and totally channels Reacher’s energy, is all Alan. Love Tom but he allowed his love for the books to overshadow his usual good sense with movies.. so glad he listened and gracefully moved it on.

I hope they do every book in the series. Lets have the longest running series yet. Maybe they can beat out some of the others. I've been a big fan of the books and was a bit bummed when Reacher was played by Tom, although Tom is great, he just didn't fit the mental image all readers of the series had. To know that he is a real guy, doing the best he can in life, his wife two, speaks volumes. Most people would be content keeping an image that isn't real.

Alan is humble, dedicated and steadfast in both his personal and professional life. I was introduced to Reacher by my dementia client who is clearly in love with Alan and now I know why. I fell in deep appreciation with Alan in season one of Reacher and I patiently await season two. I love his wife and boys and that the whole family is driven to live a life together based on staying connected to each other no matter where they are or what they do… they live life “together” as a testament that relationships take a lot of work but the benefits are endless❤
