He’s amazing. I’m a huge Reacher fan and it’s awesome that someone can be so dedicated to physical perfection the way he obviously is, but I’d remain a fan if he weren’t so physically built because he’s a great actor and a hell of a guy. He’s the kind of dude anyone would want to be friends with, and his Christian faith just adds icing to the cake that he’s got a great moral compass. Truly admirable.
Great interview. Great shows, both Inside You and Reacher. I don't know if you ever read these comments Michael (I hope you do.), because ears perked up when he talked about running sprints and getting winded so easily. The first thought that came to mind was how he was breathing. Also because of his comment about never feeling like he's got enough lung capacity. He might want to check the book Breath, by Jeff Nestor. It's been a life changer for me and the clients I work with. Most people breath through their mouths. Especially when doing something physically taxing like sprinting. We were actually designed to breathe through our noses most of the time. Even when sprinting. When we do, we use our diaphragm to breath, opening up our ribcage and bringing air down into the bottom of our lungs. Two-thirds of the oxygen exchange happens in the lower third of our lungs. When you breathe through your mouth your upper chest is expanding and your shoulders are rising. So, you don't get the air to the bottom of your lungs like you need to. Granted with an activity like sprinting or any short-term high intensity exercise, it is more important to breath through your nose during recovery. It's also important to try and breath through your nose as long as possible through your nose during the activity. I recommend the book to anyone. It can make a dramatic impact on your health, and physical capacity.
The army recommends 160-170lbs as ideal weight for their demands (combat, fighting, running etc.) so for Alan to be doing similar movements/training for the role of Reacher at 240lbs is just astonishing, must really take its tole!
As someone who is in that weight range I can tell you that really is not ideal. I would say for Infantry or any combat role, it would be way better to be heavier with all the gear you have to carry. I felt like a Turtle just with my plate carrier and plates. Slowed my mobility way down.
That's Hollywood for you. Embellish everything! Most special forces men are not these physically jacked specimens but are closer to 180 lbs. They are fit dudes but they aren't usually shredded bodybuilders.
@@DwightKSchrute3 This answer is ridiculous and makes no sense: It doesn't matter if you weigh that much or not if the percentage of that weight is made up of excess fat and little muscle mass! furthermore that figure must be related based on the height of the subject in question. For a person of average height (man) 160 lbs is ideal if he has no more fat than muscle. Because for every additional pound of weight, whether muscle or fat, efficiency and functionality is reduced. The heart and lungs and subsequently the joints suffer greatly from excess weight.
Well I hope your having a good day too. You took what I said a little too far. To be fair I did not really explain or go into detail on what I was trying to get across in the comment. I was simply trying to say that Mass moves mass. When you have a Plate carrier and plates on someone who is heavier is going to be able to handle that weight much better. That is all I meant to say. I was not really referring to anything regarding stress on joints or anything else. Yes other things come into play other than just simply weight. Sorry for the miss understanding. So awesome ya’ll still keep in touch after all these years. He already had Kristin Kreuk on the show. He needs to pull some sting and get you and Tom Welling on board.
Here’s the thing…Reacher never had to exercise or watch his diet; his lifestyle and genetics kept him lean enough. He was big (a few inches taller btw) but not gym big plus a lot more scars of course. Closer to natural build I think of Jason Mamoa when he’s not primed for movies. Doesn’t lift weights, but surfs and climbs etx. Still…kinda like this guy.
I thought he looked particularly tired and sick in the last season. Maybe the tanning didn’t help. But he didn’t look as fit and energised as in the previous season. I don’t see a need for him to get better than he already was. Reacher’s size is also mostly symbolic. He is this guy who everyone notices, he has a big character and he is extremely principled. The opposite of a “little man”.
Every actor with very physical roles can confirm the effort has a time limit. Not necessarily due to age alone but the fact that at a certain point they have to choose between being a bodybuilder or acting. The time and effort to keep a superhero type body is huge.
He also has the best pharmacology money can buy. You still gotta put in the work, but, there is an enormous difference in efficiency and outcome when you're putting thousands, if not tens of thousands of dollars of exogenous hormones into your body. Dunno if he addressed this, but I do wish these Hollywood types like the Rock would stop blowing smoke up peoples ass. Nothing wrong with juice when you're not a professional athlete, but there is something wrong when 12 year old kids look at the Rock, and think "bruh he's natty, I can do that". Then you look at the Rock when he was 21, at his absolute physical peak, and he looks just like a big normal athletic dude, and now, where he is almost 50, and he looks like the inspiration for what comic book artists draw from.
Alan Ritchson is great. I wish the world recognized it sooner so we could have had more of him on film and in better roles. Once hollywood saw him in smallville+BMS they should have recognized that this guy is unstoppable.
I can attest to the issue of having your body used to a certain caloric intake. I'm 6'2, was my best shape around 230, though felt better at 240 as I didn't mind a bit of fat on me. I injured my left ankle severely and was unable to walk without crutches for 8 weeks. My caloric intake didn't change and I ballooned to 280 before I was able to work out again. Maximizing your aerobic workouts helps with feeding O2 to your muscle mass...
Air is mostly nitrogen, not O2 😂 Anyway, your caloric expenditure decreased because you weren’t walking around as much due to the crutches. Your NEAT (non exercise activity thermogenesis) decreased, but your incoming calories stayed the same. That’s why you put on weight. It had zero to do with your muscles somehow being starved of oxygen 🤦♂️. Whoever told you that needs a dry slap 👋 😂. Hope your ankle is ok mate. Do you use floss bands? They can be great for increasing bloodflow into that area. Just wrap your ankle up, and they create resistance so that when you perform circles with your foot, blood gets pumped into that area. Take a band off after about a minute and your ankle should feel better (depending on what stage of recovery you’re at)
@@crypticjimIt’s your responsibility to monitor your weight and maintain your health, not your wife’s. Take better care of yourself dude, especially if you plan on having kids. Do it for their sake. Kids like when their parents are fit. It sets a good precedent and inspires more respect 🫡
I stopped counting calories a lot time ago but to maintain my mass and I could easily be 4XL, as I am current 3XL in jackets, I problems eat 150 grams of protein a day. I struggle to get branded clothes so I won’t be going bigger than a UK 3XL. Only a XL in track suit pants a 38 waist in jeans.
It is recommended you slowly lower your daily caloric intake over time. For example, if your daily caloric intake is 3,000 calories. Try bumping it down to 2,900 calories for a couple weeks or so. Then lower it to 2,800 for another few weeks. Slow and steady. The body does NOT like drastic change.
Just saying thanks to Alan for everything you've done for your viewers. Keep up the good work, fulfill your purpose, and take breaks. And your hard work really paid off. Thanks to Michael, too, for the interviews. They are more insightful and engaging than the majority. And I woke up in the middle of the night, for no discernible reason, just to face the toxicity that is the comments. "He's juiced." "He's lying." So what? He already admitted it, and told of the circumstances. And I can't believe I'm saying the obvious, but anabolic hormones themselves don't build muscle. They tell the body to build more. One still needs nutrition and discipline. So saying that he's juiced has little weight, and contributes to the toxicity. But I guess people have to scrape the bottom for the sake of being jerks, which is why Jack Reacher is such a cathartic character. Lastly, I wish there were a Vin Diesel scene saying "what would Alan Ritchson do?"
Jason Momoa is RARELY buff or toned. He's on record saying he does not work out unless it is for a role and even then he prefers to do CARDIO or super-set stuff.. or indeed climbing. In his time off he drinks beer and parties. The comparison does not hold. Bautista... maybe. But he stopped working out as well recently. He's much leaner now.
Momoa definitely let himself fall off in his off-time. The Rock would be a better comparison, because Ritchson is definitely closer to his build than Momoa.
Bautista probably still workouts, just not in the same way. There's a way to get and stay musclular and a way to be more functional and strong. At his age, it's probably doing the latter because maintaining size is a lot of work and it's not very practical long term.
I got a 6 pack for about 3/4 of a year. THAT was the hardest thing I have ever done. Wake up in the morning, go run before eating. Morning looks great, afternoon you're slightly bloated. It's a game of torture! I decided after that, stay semi ripped (kind of) without torturing myself. Also being 40's isn't easy either, everything gets harder to accomplish, recovery is longer, etc.
I gotta give props to this dude! As an athlete, the majority of my life playing football up to my 2nd year in the ncaa college football world, I understand what it's like. Although it wasn't prepped for a role in a series or movie, it was definitely a career consistently! From giving up doing normal everyday lifestyle things with myself, friends and family to focus on training, nutrition, workouts and health issues. At 6,3 245lbs consistently as a pass rusher, I had to not only maintain my strength and weight but maintain my speed and explosiveness simultaneously and it sucked lol! After college, I focused on bodybuilding and there I found myself reaching a 264lb physic and the strongest I'd ever been but with substantial physical recessions! I couldn't sleep well and certain body limbs went to sleep and ached more often than not. I got winded extremely easy and keeping my cholesterol and BP normal was equally as hard as the training. So, at 39 now, I continue to train and do my usual cardio but I refuse to gorge myself everyday and neglect a normal lifestyle and I absolutely love it!! I eat clean but I eat what I want especially on the weekends and events. I have some drinks with my friends and family now and instead of dedicating the majority of my life to the gym, I spend about 2 hours a day 5 days a week lifting and cardio in that time frame. My physic isn't as unnatural or intimidating as it has been most of my life but I'm maintaining a 230lb, 14% body fat dad bod very easily lol! I've learnt to enjoy life everyday, especially with friends and family and if can gain a few pounds, I can always lose a few pounds afterwards.

Thanks Ryan for sharing helpful details. Most of us appreciate well-written accounts that are longer than a snarky Tweet (or whatever they call them on X). One observation. You're to be commended for staying physically fit. But you might find it harder to just shed a few pounds as you age. In my 30s I could yo-yo a bit based on exercise availability and situational diet (e.g. deployment food versus wife's cooking, etc.) . Rich Piana said much the same thing before he died, he said that his body fought being that big every step of the way and he thought it was really hard on his heart, saying the heart didn't care if it was 300lbs of fat or muscle, it was hard on his body
True, but this guy can't be compared to Rich at all. I mean Rich was taking huge huge amounts of steroids, growth hormone, and insulin his whole life. He injected synthol. The weight was an extremely minimal part of his death.

I agree it is not necessary for the role. These ideas of having to look like Schwarzenegger to be tough of project toughness are so outdated. He looked fine in S1. Alan is dedicated to his craft, and i respect him for that. I've been a fan of his for years. Ever since i saw him in Smallville. He killed it as Aquaman, as Hawk and now as Jack Reacher. TERRANCE OUT
I’m 12 stone and I work out 6 times a week 2 times a day and even I find it extremely hard to keep this thin physique. I want to get as big as Ritchson but I struggle to get the 2000 calories a day that I have now. It’s insane!
Work out less, you need to give yourself time to recover, sounds counter intuitive but should have approx 48hrs rest between training muscle groups assuming your a natural athlete :)
Honestly he would be the perfect replacement for Jason Momoa DCU's Aquaman since he and Jason worked together in Fast X and he did in fact played character before in Smallville. Man, Alan is one huge freak.
His body was perfect in season one of Reacher. Season 2, he’s too big. Neck is too thick and so is his head. I get he’s has to look the part because of the book but more isn’t always better it’s just more. I wish this guy a lot of success and hope Reacher takes him to action hero movie star status. Just please don’t get jerky on the way up. 😂
Let me enlighten everyone why it is hard to achieve a "reacher" physique....It is because you are not on 500mgs of test cyp, 50mg of Anavar, and who knows what the hell else he is on...but folks trust me....that boy is on some shit
That is surprising. Wouldn't believe people like him would have a problem doing workouts and maintaining their size. Guess it was really hard for most of those action Hollywood stars back in the 80s and 90s, like Arnold and the cast from Predator.
Well, yes, but Arnold stands far apart from anyone else; he was a proper bodybuilder (possibly the best to ever do it). Bodybuilding at the highest level is a very strenuous sport/pageant.
I started watching season 2 and Ritchson definitely looks bulkier this time around. There's an episode where Reacher talks about where he sleeps when he travels, cheap motels, backs of pick-up trucks, etc. But how can someone maintain that physique without spending serious time at a gym? Is this explained in the books?
You can't. That kind of physique requires a ton of work, both in the gym and kitchen, as well as a lot of steroids. The show and books are not realistic.
In the novels, Reacher never works out but has done a lot of manual labor to support himself. He explains his physique as "genetics". His weight varies in the novels, though I can't remember enough to cite which one. He mentions once that he had been at about 220-225 and his top weight had been 245. I don't think we look to plausibly explain Reacher's body in a manner that would make that man exist in our world. He is who he is, sort of a superhero. Sometimes I think of Doc Savage.
He doesn’t need to be ripped the way he is. He could add a little fat, and be less body builder type, and more NFL defensive lineman like, it would be perfectly acceptable. But, you have to respect his commitment. I love season two. Not quite up to par with season one, but still better than most shows.
The hardest part isnt achieving the physique, it's maintaining it. The amount of food you have to eat is, honestly, physically sickening. It's the main reason I lost a lot of the muscle weight I gained... I just got sick of being obsessed with when my next meal is and feeling full all the time.
wtf are you smoking or have you never trained before? It is 10x harder to build that muscle then to maintain it. You don't need a surpluse to maintain it and you dont need to workout nearly as hard.
@@roryt1985he's actually totally correct. It's by definition that you don't need a surplus. You only need one if you need to gain weight. If you want to maintain it would actually be detrimental to consume at a surplus. Also, there are numerous studies out there confirming that you need roughly a third of the volume to maintain what you have.
@@tonypaella you are also incorrect. To maintain the physique Alan has, he needs to remain in a surplus. This is not about maintaining muscle tissue, it is about maintaining a weight on the scales. Alan looks great but his body fat % is not low. You can see in reacher his arms, neck, face are not ‘lean’, he carries more fat and water than a typical athlete. Christian Bale did the same for Batman, got big but wasn’t lean (don’t mistake this with me calling either of them fat - they both looked great imo). So yeah, to maintain this physique he needs to remain in a calorie surplus, if he didn’t he’d lean out and although he’d have more muscle definition he’d look less imposing. Let’s not forget the character doesn’t hit the gym, he’s meant to portray a genetic 1% who’s just naturally big like a bear not a shredded bodybuilder with veins everywhere.
@@roryt1985 A surplus by definition means you consume more than you expend which means you gain weight. In order to maintain you costume as many calories as you expend, making it no longer a surplus. Maintenance calories by definition can not mean surplus. Sorry. Everything you wrote is wrong. You only "lean out" if you consume less calories than you expend, which is called a deficit. You clearly have no idea how this works
That is the one thing I find hard to suspend belief on in Reacher. How he possibly maintains that physique with his nomadic lifestyle and the way he eats. Then I tell myself I'm over thinking it and enjoy the show.
@@michaelwardle4547 Yes he is in fact taking testosterone and has already openly talked about it. Before you launch into the "it's therapy not steroids" know that testosterone is one form of a steroid, there are many.
So glad you got Alan back on! He needs to be Aquaman in the new DC movies! I have heard a lot about him being the new Batman, but he is perfect for Aquaman!
@mouthymicah84 Yeah, I made that same mistake not long ago about Ritchson playing Aquaman. I didn't realize he had already played Arthur Curry on Smallville. But, I would love to see him come back and play the character on the big screen. No hate towards Jason Mamoa, but I think he puts a little too much of himself in the character (especially in The Lost Kingdom), whereas I believe Alan Ritchson would play Aquaman more Regal like the king and hero that he is. And, if he doesn't want to play Arthur Curry again, there's always Steve Rogers.
I read the books 15+ years ago. When Tom Cruise was Reacher, I liked the movie, but TOM CRUISE AIN'T REACHER! The casting director actually did their job with this show :D
Yeah I can definitely see him hitting it big with the right kind of action-thriller franchise. Terminator would be perfect for him, but they would have to actually make it authentic like the original film. He would also do well in a cool horror-action-thriller series similar to something like Escape from New York or The Thing... he needs to get with a good auteur like John Carpenter, though.
Football players have no issue @ 245, or more. He's not used to carrying the weight. He's probably more comfortable at 205/210. Bodybuilders do the opposite, they start cutting weight, and water, weeks before competition. They will blow up by 30lbs post show. Your average triathlete consumes 4-5,000 cal per day... and they're trim.
As someone who is also 6”3 240 lbs for a few years, I can say, it’s not the weight you are carrying, it’s your age. Suddenly, when I turned 33, all of my long run times plummeted.
Been there, 250+ all muscle, back in my army days. I used to run a lot like that too, and I remember a skinny dude telling me that I was "breathing wrong" as I came up a hill blowing and panting like a giant dog. Honestly, I could sprint just fine with any amount of muscle, but eventually my jump training caught up to my knee cartilage and I don't run anymore.
Did ya ever get the breathing down pat before the injury? I could never do that in through the nose out through the mouth crap, just cadence breathing if I didn't wanna suffocate😄
@@williampowell3378 I think it depends. Now, at something like 230, with a good bit higher fat content than back then (office job, middle age) I can still dance in a boxing ring and trust me, you do not want to be there when I throw a left hook. That mass can be leveraged into a lot of kinetic energy and speed isn't connected to bulk. Someone is fast and athletic or they aren't, leanness is just leanness and good for them for having good cardio and being able to run longer distances, but they may absolutely still get crushed in a fight.
The reason his cardio suffered isn’t so much the weight but the oral minoxidil he is taking to counter the hair loss caused by TRT. It’s also causing him rapid facial aging.
Absolute rubbish. If he’s taking anything oral it’s Dutasteride or finasteride. They block conversion to DHT. Zero impact on cardio. You clearly don’t have a scooby what you’re talking about.

I reluctantly started watching Reacher with low expectations. As a cyclist, I spend a lot of time on the bike trainer and consume a lot of entertainment to kill the winter hours. Needless to say, while some of the show is kind of cheesy, I was pleasantly surprised at how entertaining it was overall. I figured he must be eating like 4-5k calories per day at least with half the day in the gym 6/7 days per week. It's not easy to eat that much! Respect.
I never understood why he had to "bulk up" for Reacher, because I liked Tom Cruse movie version of the character more, it's more interesting and realistic. I mean if you're living like a nomad you not gonna hit the Gym three times a week and eat meat and get your protein shakes all the time so you not gonna look like that at all.. so it's a little bit unrealistic for somebody like Reacher to be that pumped. Same is for Henry Cavill in The Witcher.. Geralt was never that pumped, he is of course an athletic figure but more lean and nimble because he is also on the road all the time, fighting monsters and eating what he can get and he never has enough money for food, which kind of a running gag in the books. I mean.. stop making actors suffer for nonsense that doesn't even fits in their role..
Well, it's probably because the characters were written by people who never bulked up in their life, so they didn't know you can't make up a character that is "naturally" huge, muscular, can lift cars, etc. and believe he doesn't lose muscle if he doesn't work out, just because he was "born" big. 😊
Alan, love your show Reacher. Have you ever thought about eating Carnivore to help with your endurance? You should look up Dr Anthony Chaffee. He’s 240, ex Professional Rugby player. He says he doesn’t get winded. It can’t hurt reaching out to him.

@@Shome2049 exactly, muscle might be better than fat, but it needs more oxygen and a full out run with that much mass needs a truckload of it. I won't be able to tell if he's 20 lbs lighter on screen next season, if he maintains the same body fat %.
Fantastic actor and person! Hope to see him in some major films soon! Loving reacher! Really appreciate all the hours and work he puts into the roll what are pro!
That Christian nonsense you pointed out made me lose a good amount of respect for him.
@@DwightKSchrute3 This answer is ridiculous and makes no sense:
It doesn't matter if you weigh that much or not if the percentage of that weight is made up of excess fat and little muscle mass! furthermore that figure must be related based on the height of the subject in question.
I was not really disagreeing with him. Just simply I noticed during my time that Heavier set guys could handle the weight much better in my experience. Have a good day. @@manumaster1990

@@stephendendy8376 the books are a little shit compared to the series.. huh, this has to be the first time I say something like this but it's true. You’re right they did an amazing job of bringing the best qualities of the books to the screen especially Reacher. Doesn’t lift weights, but surfs and climbs etx. Still…kinda like this guy.

It also limits you to certain roles as such an imposing phsyique makes it hard to play "normal" people.
Chill lol

Marriage can be just as bad as an injury. First year of marriage I went from around 210 to just over 300
Air is mostly nitrogen, not O2 😂
Anyway, your caloric expenditure decreased because you weren’t walking around as much due to the crutches.
"He's juiced." "He's lying."
So what?
What’s your thoughts on alans build atm for the newest season of the show? Compared to when it started and such?💙 would love to know

ALAN IS ONE OF MOST BEAUTIFUL HUMANS I HAVE EVER SEEN AND HEARD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Salute to all the chickens who gave their lives to Alan's 4000 calories daily intake.

If someone at his size and weight is Batman then poor Batman he will not last more than a year
My concern is he's getting too body buildery, rather than a more natural larger freak of nature as per the books.
I agree it is not necessary for the role. These ideas of having to look like Schwarzenegger to be tough of project toughness are so outdated. He looked fine in S1. Here he looks more like a body builder that for some reason does not eat a lot and never works out. He's just magically buff all the time for some reason... from all the drifting and hitch-hiking no doubt LOL

I’m 12 stone and I work out 6 times a week 2 times a day and even I find it extremely hard to keep this thin physique. I want to get as big as Ritchson but I struggle to get the 2000 calories a day that I have now. It’s insane!
Eat more junk
Work out less, you need to give yourself time to recover, sounds counter intuitive but should have approx 48hrs rest between training muscle groups assuming your a natural athlete :)
I train less but the calories I just can't get to right now. I get full as shit and feel sluggish and tired.
Try drinking 100g oat shakes with protein powder, peanut butter and some fruit/whatever else you like in it. Easy way to get another 800-1000kcal in.
Also do lots of steroids.
That is surprising. Wouldn't believe people like him would have a problem doing workouts and maintaining their size. Guess it was really hard for most of those action Hollywood stars back in the 80s and 90s, like Arnold and the cast from Predator.
What? Pinning needles every week surely gets tedious.

Yeah I feel you bro. Since I put on a lot of mass my cardio is so bad compared to before.
Spending months digging out outdoor pools in the hot Florida sun being a farmhand and he doesn't drink smoke or use drugs of any kind.
Reacher is a fictional character. Why are we pretending that he is a real guy in the real world? Lighten up
@Casparify why it's called fiction lol 😆 all jokes aside I agree 💯 he's using lots supplements and on a crazy diet
1:00 overtraining is a thing....
He doesn’t need to be ripped the way he is. He could add a little fat, and be less body builder type, and more NFL defensive lineman like, it would be perfectly acceptable. But, you have to respect his commitment. I love season two. Not quite up to par with season one, but still better than most shows.
Man, people HATE bodybuilders!!! WHY?!
i cant beleve i saw Alan when he was doing blue mounatian state so long ago skinny guy now how a big name actor now.
@@Waywardbiscuiteverything you wrote there is incorrect.
You clearly have no idea how this works
'I don't hit soft' - love that line. Kicka$$ and funny.
That is the one thing I find hard to suspend belief on in Reacher. How he possibly maintains that physique with his nomadic lifestyle and the way he eats. Then I tell myself I'm over thinking it and enjoy the show.

I wonder if there is any reason to bring another 'SUPERMAN' movie back? Would you think Alan Richtson aka REACHER would be a good fit?
Football players have no issue @ 245, or more. He's not used to carrying the weight. He's probably more comfortable at 205/210. Bodybuilders do the opposite, they start cutting weight, and water, weeks before competition. They will blow up by 30lbs post show. Your average triathlete consumes 4-5,000 cal per day... and they're trim.
Did you just compare a sport that dramatically shortens your life span for a 5-10 year CAREER and say they have no issues?
This guy is Thad Castle and I can't unsee it.
I would have never guessd 240lbs hes so tall would have thought at least 286 beast mode.
I believe he’s 6’1
He's always been in shape since bms
His new physique makes the flashbacks seem silly considering he was way smaller in season 1. He’s in great shape but it’s almost too much.
he is Reacher but he is also THAD!
Maintaining??? If anything, he looks even bigger now than he did in S1.
Blue Mountain State is the best!!!
His physique looks a lot better in Reacher 1. He's too big now and I'm sure it effects his health
In Reacher 1 he was about 235 on set and barely running a low dose of testosterone. He clearly upped the dosage and gained a lot of mass since S1.
As someone who is also 6”3 240 lbs for a few years, I can say, it’s not the weight you are carrying, it’s your age. Suddenly, when I turned 33, all of my long run times plummeted.
Has anybody else noticed he’s aged like at 2-3 times the natural pace between s1 and s2. Dude is ripped, but at the same time looks haggard.
Yes, PEDs will do that.
I'm not gay but he's one good looking guy.
At this point you only have one more thing to figure out, top or bottom
Jason Momoa is a decent rock climber. Last I heard, his highest grade was a 7a boulder. That's high end of intermediate, at best.
He really should have just retained his physique from the first season, not get bigger. He looks bloated and like his eyes are going to pop.
Lol so true. In S2 he looks like he's hanging upside down and holding his breath all the time.
Just wondering, the softness of his eyes from season one is gone. Is that just age?
Steroid bloating. Mens' faces get a hardened, weathered look from testosterone use. And it does age you
Been there, 250+ all muscle, back in my army days.
Leaner is meaner
@@Sam-tx1tn he’s also on dut , and prp
@@Sam-tx1tn these two you mentioned are way worse than any DHT lol. And they do mess with your cardio cuz the mess up your whole hormone balance. Search about finasteride post syndrome. I'm not saying that's his case, just clariying what u said.
For sure noticed the aging.
Juiced.
Isn't carrying all that weight dangerous for your heart?
Great actor, seems like a good guy. However, he tries to claim he's not on the juicy vitamins, that he's 100% natural, which is obviously not true. He should be transparent about what he does, so he doesn't give his younger audience unrealistic expectations and explain the dangers of using what he does. People would respect him more.
Reacher is a great series, and Alan fits the bill perfectly. That said the self-congratulatory mutual masturbation of this interview is cringe worthy.
If you keep the dosing and keep your bio markers in check, it's not that hard to keep the muscle.
Tren hard anavar give up
It’s very easy to get that big naturally. I think you forget genetics make a difference.
He is not natural
He literally confirmed he's on gear@@kyle6209
@@kyle6209there are no genetics of the world that enable you to have 10% body fat @6'3 245lbs frame without any additional "supplements "
@@kyle6209 Irrelevant. Homie's on it, already talked about it.
He's just drop-dead GORGEOUS!
I love it when people try to justify steroids. Its fine dude, you're not competing in a sport against other people and you're a great actor. Steroid it up but we don't need the dishonesty
