    DISCLAIMER: I AM NOT a financial advisor. I am just some guy on the internet. This is NOT financial advice. This is simply a compilation of observations that I've made, studying dozens of extremely successful people, that were able to get out of the rat race rather quickly. Please speak with your financial advisor before doing anything with your money.
    I think it's safe to say, that most people DO NOT want to be working a job that they don't really like... for the rest of their life...just to retire. But it's something that many have to deal with because they don't know of another way out. Which is why, today, I want to show you how to escape the rat race. One of the only methods that I know of that will allow you to retire early, if executed correctly.

      You need parents or someone else to pay for your college then after you get your degree give you a small trust fund of 100k to start your business. Then you can build it up "all by yourself" like lots of people do. But make sure your story is that you did it all yourself, that parts important.

    • @RealJamieBarclay
      @RealJamieBarclay Год назад +1

      @@Trahzy I mean anyone can start a service based business for free, you can literally go from nothing to millionaire without any kind of investment or trust fund. @@RealJamieBarclay Yes, it's possible. But very unlikely. If it were just as easy as "start a business bro and you'll be a millionaire" anyone with an IQ of barely 100 would be rich. They just don't like to admit it for obvious reasons lmao.

    Another concept for breaking the rat race is property investment. My boyfriend currently is doing this. While in the rat race for 10 ish years focus on passive income on top of a steady stream. Having properties you can rent out such as duplexes, homes, apartments, etc. and gaining more properties to have that passive income come in as you re-save and reinvest it.

    you dont need to become an investor. pick up some skills like video editing, photography, music creator, etc. then take freelance work and also create passive streams through stock agencies. just take something you like and there are always way to create income. lets say you like sports you can give lessons in real and try you luck with online programs, online lessons, youtube etc for the passive steams wich are very important. actualy there like almost unlimited potential solutions that might work out for you. Dont forget this guy has big youtube channel he makes decent passive money through it aswell. one of the many ways

Would make for fascinating viewing. My guess is both would struggle. I wouldn't have a clue but I suspect the hunter gather would be the one clamouring more to getting away from staring at screens for 10+ hours a day with associated Office politics?!

    If you're more risk averse, then increasing your active income and leaning towards safer bets is doable. I think that's easier if you already like your job or field though. I'll probably hit FI around 35 and don't have to give much attention to it because I love my job. So, I've been able to get promotions and increase the amount I'm investing in a relatively safe manner.

    Using chess as an analogy:
    Making Asymmetrical bets is the process of trying to gain an advantage (like a piece or a position)
    While Diversification is the process of making sure that advantage you gain remains as the game (aka life) progresses.
