- Fishing at Shelter Island again. Unfortunately, I did not capture it on camera, but my fishing pole almost went over the railing twice!
In the video, I ask for tips and tricks to catch fish. What setup do you use when fishing at the pier or in the ocean?

Dude, that's a Spotted Bay Bass 14inches is a legal size to keep. Cool video. I kayak fish shelter island ,it's good for halibut.

Live sardine is the best bait around shelter island. But the only way to get Live bait is at the bait barge. By kayak or boat.
