I am a former aviation accident investigator from Argentina. I discovered that Scott and Juan handle both Air Safety and Air Crash Investigations as naturally as a fish crowls in water. Nice presentation !
I've watched Scott for about a year and a half. I knew a little about his background but it was really cool to hear him talk more about it here! He seems so easy going yet has that world of experience. We can all learn a lot from him!! 8) JMHO --gary
Of all the aviation channels that cover accidents and safety I enjoy Scott's the best. He reminds me of what I am thinking - as he's not afraid to say what makes him scared and what he does to mitigate that.. How he deals with stress, etc,.. Appreciate his work!! And you all too!!!
Can’t beat Scott Perdue. He’s just a smart, easy to listen to man with incredible knowledge and a tremendous presence on the air. Thanks for having this interview.
Loved those pics of Scott & his dad from in the day! Awesome! What a great guy, and brilliant too - watch his Chernobyl vid and how he tied that accident into aviation. Thanks for your service, Scott! Great stuff as usual Dan & Christy!
I'm pretty bias but I find anything with Scott Perdue is a plus. Perdue is one remarkable gentleman pilot from whom jillions of people learn aviation .... Wonderful presentation. Many thanks to all involved esp. Perdue. Blessings....to all...
Oh man HOW DID I MISS this!!!!! I asked once on your Flywire channel not too long ago what's the story behind your name, and you responded with a cryptic message saying perhaps one day you would get around to telling the story, and here you have and I miss it by not 3 hours but 3 days! LOL I better shut up and start watching before I eat my words!
Great interview Christy and Dan! Big fan of Scott’s channel, as well as yours and Juan’s and … My ears perked up when I heard Commodore 64 mentioned, my first pc.
Interesting listening to Scott commenting on the B727 . I happen to think it’s the best looking airplane Boeing ever built . Of course that’s just my opinion. ✈️
Listen to Scott handle an engine failure in a B-25 and return to land, you will get the true measure of how focused and competent he is as a pilot,I would fly with him anytime!
Seeing Scott three times on three different channels. Being following Scott for about a year now. Since I am a musician I saw his excellent crash analysis of the Buddy Holly crash. I have been following him since then.
Hi Dan. If you like watching aviation (GA and Airline) accidents chanells, I´ll sugest you to visit the "Mentour Pilot" chanell. He is a swedish B737 Cpt and he´s late episodes are all about aviation accidents and incidents. He´s explanations and analysis are very thorough and sometimes he explains even tiny little details about the plane envolved so you can understand what really hapend. Interesting is he not only talks about what hapends in the US but also in EU from the EASA perspective. Don´t worry, he´s english is perfect. Cheers from NE Patagonia, Argentina.
My wife and I flew from San Francisco to Puerto Vallarta just after the 911 attacks (when air traffic was going again). I asked the guy at the SFO counter what kind of airplane we would be on. He said an MD80. I said what's that? He said it's basically a skateboard with wings. Haha! Thanks for the video! Scott has had a cool career.
Great interview. Long time lurker, just subscribed. I have almost completed Scott Perdue's Flywire library. Great stuff. My other favorites in no particular order are Blancolirio, Flightchops, Probably Cause, AgentJayZ or zzz or zed or zulu or something, Captain Joe, steveo1kinevo, Premier 1 Driver, and Mike Patey. There's plenty of room in the space for excellent content.
@Flywire I live around MCAS Cherry Point and am not too far from Goldsboro. Hoover at Pilot Debrief had an interesting career going Air Force flying Strike Eagle and Hornets through the Marine Corps exchange program.
Gezz what can I say about a Father that "Stears-his-little-Man" up thru adulthood becomes someone we all enjoy then REBUILDS & Flys Dads STEARMAN Thanks Dan & Christy great little interview.
@FlyWirescotttperdue Cool background, Scott. I live around MCAS Cherry Point. Did you ever run into Hoover when he was a sprout flying the Strike Eagle at SJ?
The F15 is awesome, it's legacy is looking to be almost something like the ol B52. I think I remember at one point in time the Eagle had never been defeated. Not sure if that's still true yet, but non the less its still excellent! But, I'm sorry Dan, the Corsair is an awesome beast, but it's the Mustang for me, it just seems to be something about it, maybe a little more elegant or aerodynamic idk. But anyway good interview with Scott.
Due to the fall in the stock market, I don't think it's advisable holding, it would be more beneficial and yield more profit if you actually trade on crypto currency I've been trading since the dip, and I've made so much profit trading
Hey! I know that guy!
Good stuff! Jb
Looks like you found a flight buddy for Alaska trip next spring. We can get 2 Husky in the hangar and have rooms for you and Scott
@@rmiller640 Be careful, what you ask for;)

Flywire is one of the 5-6 of my favorite go-to channels on YT. Of course Taking Off is also in the same group. Thank you for featuring Scott
Great to see Scott In The Hangar. Quality man right there!!
Really enjoy Flywire. Hope Scott continues to have success.

Very interesting,My Father was a squadron commander at Seymour Johnson at the time Scott was doing his training.
No one is better than Scott or Juan but Mentour pilot is every bit a treasure of information
Scott is an American hero, great individual, and aviator, thanks for sharing!
It is great to hear the story that made the man. Thanks, Scott.
Scott seems to be making the rounds on other peoples RUclips channels today... Juan Brown posted an interview too.
We need to get our release calendars in sync.

Where does one get the time for all that?
@@karlscribner7436 Spread out over weeks and months, but you're right that it looks like a lot when listed all in one place. :-) No hurry.
I'd disagree with Christy. Scott doesn't have pretty good stuff..... he's got great stuff on his channel!
Scott's royalty as far as I'm concerned :-)
Agreed.
Lovely interview, it's nice to hear more about Scott's background. What a nicely spoken gentleman. Thanks!

I checked in the FAA Registry and there's no Scott Perdue with an ATP
I would like to talk to you about your studio set up

The reality of the rich and the poor is this: the rich invest their money and spend what is left. The poor spend their money and invest what is left
Crypto is the new gold.
How does this whole process works, I'm interested in investing but still confused by the fluctuations in price
