Am I the only one who can’t stop laughing when they were having a friendly little argument about troye sivan and XG? Hahaha
It was so funny. The stan behavior was great.
That was quintessential "I am dying on this hill, even though I don't know what it's called"
Oh!!! Troye Sivan… Jesus Christ I’m so bad at listening English I thought they were speaking about Choi Siwon ahahahah
@@Sake_Ikura_Don SAME i was so confused when i looked at the comments talking abt troye 💀
This is so Sibling Rivalry coded
this podcost was such a good idea, i literally could listen to you guys for 10 hours a day, so entertaining
EDDY I GET IT ! as a fighter for XG i get the vibes. part of the reason why i’m such a fan is because they genuinely have that sisterhood and chemistry-more like a unit than one member overshadowing the other. though by nature the kpop training system is manufactured, through their documentary you can feel their passion, artistry, and deep commitment to succeed together.
The XG ughh~~ always gets me😆
I'm obsessed with XG the way Eddy is and I'm glad to see other people feel the same way I do lol I feel validated. I don't want to say the group isn't manufactured like other groups but I definitely feel the love the members have for music whenever they talk in interviews.
I also agree that Kpop nowadays is very different like I remember when Monsta X stood out among the boy groups because they were more "aggressive" and now I look back at their music and it seems tame in comparison to what's the norm today.
totally agree!!
It’s like 9 in the morning over here, and this is literally the best way to start the morning off.
lol I'll be on the bus listening to skz's loud ass music, standing all🧍♂️ and looking sentimental while in my ears “YEOGIN SEOUL TEUKBYEOLSI” But it really depends on my mood, that's why I love kpop because there so many different genres and vibes, even skz have a lot else to offer if you're not into “loud” music (almost guaranteed to find something you like). I got into kpop with skz miroh in 2019, I liked bts before but there was something about skz that pulled me in. These days I'm loving boynextdoor a lot, so tbh my music taste is all over the place (again, why I love kpop)!
This came at the perfect time❤ I love listening to y’all when I’m putting on my makeup and getting ready! Keep the videos coming😘
Kinda curious if you guys were talking about director pi around 15:52...
Bang Chan does alot of Stray Kids producing, but it's not just him, the subunit 3racha which consists of Bang Chan, Changbin and Han together is mainly in charge of the groups music. At the start of this year Bang Chan was listed as the nr 1 4th gen idol on KOMCA (10th idol overall) but nr 2 and 3 4th gen is Changbin and Han following Bang Chans at the time 144 songs with 125 and 122 respectively.
please dont forget that versachoi is actually the main source of skiz music. other producers too but it usually looks like this - 3racha brings the idea to versachoi and then he is the one who finalizes it cuz he is in the industry for a long time. or he is the one who brings the idea. 3racha is like his right hand, helping him out. (not including records, those r self-produced fully)
it doesnt mean boys r not skilled, its just versachoi is sorta their “teacher”. like a backbone of their discography. gotta pay respect to him for getting us the best discography in kpop. ❤️🩹❤️🩹
@@jagiyaforsannie stray kids have worked with many other producers for many tracks. i totally agree it would be unfair to forget about them, including versachoi, he is an important co-producer for sure and one they worked with the most, I am aware. its evident by listed credits, he is credited in many of their songs and for a few tracks he is the main arranger, but he is credited secondary most of the time, and almost never for lyrics at all.
so i really dont think its fair to call him the main source of their music at all.
and i mean i guess technically perhaps he has been "in the industry" a bit longer but it really depends on how you're counting experience, he "debuted" earlier I suppose. i really want to stress tho that i realize i might come off as a bit negative here but i really dont mean to talk badly of versachoi (actually i really like alot of the music he's worked on) and say that he isn't skilled or important and by no means diminuish his contribution to skz. but once again, being the main source behind stray kids music? no.
edit: i realize some people have been almost misled by exaggerations into thinking that no one touches stray kids music other than stray kids and i hope im not coming across as saying that cuz that is really not what i mean. i dont want to be one of those people and i want to give credit where credit is due, and that is for most part found in exactly that, the listed credits.
I'm like 90% sure Eddy was doing "Ditto" by NewJeans in the intro and I fell out. Already outta control. XG UNH!
Listening to this is therapeutic im so thankful for these podcasts to happen
I’m living for this podcast
If you’re an XG fan, you go hard like Edward! I love XG bc they make such good music and as a group I love their chemistry! They’re all skillful and talented like no one overshadows anyone, they all compliment each other! I love watching them on variety shows bc you can tell they’re genuinely having fun and they’re not afraid to be funny (unlike most kpop idols). They were so funny and cute in 2day1night
I’m living for all the content that the Eddies are giving us!!! Eddy acting like your typical defensive fan had me rolling 😭😭 will keep on coming back for some more nutrition less content 😂😂😂
i'm just in love with this podcast !!! it's like everyone was waiting for ahaha
I loovve listening to you guys while I procastinate my work LOL😂😂
this is literally the content I need. just feels like we're all in the room chatting, love the atmosphere.
eddie my adhd king representing all us bitches out here ☝️💯
I got into K-pop when I was in middle school 2009 I had to hide that shizz cuz it wasn’t cool 😂 shout out to 4 minute - hot issue and Lucifer shineee 😂😊
Lucifer was my gateway into KPOP and I don't regret it one bit
Ring Ding Dong, Abracadabra ✊🏻
🤸🏾♀🤸🏾♀🤸🏾♀
Exo was the best year after I graduated shoutout to exo exo we are one
As soon as Edward said noise music, I knew Stray Kids would be listed 😂
When he said it I was like "nooooo😢" lol
XG is the most iconic group to ever exist. i'm happy u mentioned them
52 MINUTES? WE FEAST TONIGHT
Finally i can listen to kpop commentary in a podcast setting! I just love listening to you talk 💖
You would think an hour is long enough, but i enjoyed it too much! I can completely understand both of your sides with KPOP not really being mainstream, especially in America unless you're already in the scene or only follow BTS/BP. I also agree with the whole double edge sword and double standards as well like with dating for instance. Growing up, I always embraced my fangirl side with anime and KPOP. However, it's weird how the more popular it gets, the less I'm more inclined to shout it out to the world. It's really odd. Not sure if it just my age or all the toxicity that comes with it, especially with the bandwagoners. Anyways, i really enjoyed this and cant wait for the next ep! Also, I love both film and music so I cry to both. 😂
I’m the same way; I think when these interests/hobbies were considered weird there was a certain level of interest in esoterica and nerdy passion that made it really easy to find a community and bond with other fans (plenty of creeps too, but that’s just universal). Now that stuff like anime and kpop are more mainstreamed and accessible they’re no longer a signal of someone potentially interesting or a good friend, so I find it easier to keep my own interests under wraps to not end up accidentally trapped in a 6th convo with a very enthusiastic middle-aged coworker who’s a BTS stan (nothing wrong with that at all! I just find those exchanges super awkward since I don’t keep up with BTS and can’t contribute much)
As someone who got into kpop with TVXQ’s Purple Line I relate to this so hard haha. I can’t keep up with anyone other than Dreamcatcher these days (they’re the complete package, though!) but I watched XG’s behind the scenes content when I was bored and they have such a genuinely lovely bond, it was really nice to see.
Now someone in the comments needs to tell me who the youtuber who isnt actually a professional doctor is 👀🤧😂
I’m seated ! A video a week? We are really being fed 😊
Living for this pod 😊
I am liking all these podcast!!!!! Bring out mooooooore!!!! ❤
Why is it so entertaining to listen to both of you?! I love it, that you made this podcast 🫶🏻
hahaha ya'll know that troye collaborated with hyunjin and pink pantherness and they made a rush remix right? also love this podcasts
and now hyunjin has a collab with troye sivan on rush 😌
Random, but I really love the art behind you. it gives easy life next to the sea somehow.
I love that you posts often!!! BNC took so long 😩
Eddy singing in Japanese sent me to my grave 😭🤣🤣🤣🤣
Was just aggressively refreshing my home page to watch something at work 😢 ty guys
After "I like Troye Sivan, I like kpop, I like the Earth", Michael Jackson's Heal The World started to play in my head 😂😂😂
OKAY BUT PINKPANTHERESS IN “RUSH” ATEEEEEEEE
Such a good podcast ugh I’m so happy
I totally agree with the whole K-pop never being mainstreamed. Weirdly it’s something that some people just can’t wrap their heads around. Which is ok but like sucks because it’s so hard to find a good K-pop friend not online. And I really love like super chill music too or like light rnb but I’ll switch to my playlist of skz, ateez😭. I think it’s the adhd but the their music calms me. Enjoying this podcast🤺
Eddie mentioning boyfriend tv, I feel so seen lmao
New fav podcast fr 🩷🩷🩷
I just finished work and having this podcast play as I go home is literally perfect!
omg they said weekly episodeee, yall both look so goooood slay queens
As a stay I feel obligated to say that Changbin is also part of the producing team. But I agree Changbin is so cute. You have taste Eddie :)
I'm a busy woman... 😂 you two are adorable ! ❤
41:23 changbin is literally so fine
Also he does produce 😭 Chan, Changbin & Han produce together under the name 3RACHA
Edward looking at his mic cover to see if he got gloss on it. Love it!!! Did make me wonder if you guys don’t like the shirt mic stands.
this podcast is everything to me rn
i'm loving this podcast. the volume difference is just making it harder to listen personally because my ears really hurt when i have to turn it up and it's loud again
Who came up w this idea is gennnius….. I’m livin for the drag and diss so hilarious
XG and New Jeans are a cultural reset, seriously. I love them so much❤
New jeans is. But I don't feel like xg is. They still give me girl crush/baddie vibes which has been around for a decade..
When Edward started singing Perfume shamelessly my jpop ass lit uppppp!!!
Not me wanting to be invited to Shanghai 🥲
Why did my brain go straight to Director P 😂😂
the intro took me outtttttttt you are my faves for good reason 🫶
Feels like I'm just hanging out with my friends. Hahahaha. Excited for all your content! 🤍
as an xg and rush fan that argument was so funny
Troye Sivan rush is good but can we talk about his mega mind level marketing team to have him make a tiktok being interested in Skz hyunjin before dropping a collab with him. Skz fans were only talking about troye for days
41:29 changbin is actually also the producer of stray kids! stray kids has a producer team called 3RACHA who consists of Chan, Changbin and Han!
Chocolate Disco coming back out again in another video lol, but honestly Chocolate Disco is a bop and still pretty popular in Japan today at least for karaoke. There is actually meaning to the song in Japanese and it is a super cute song about Valentines Day!
bro fr troye sivans old music is so good.. his old songs are my most played on Spotify but I don’t like any new stuff.
2NE1 is the blueprint. We can see their influence on the next generations of girl groups, especially with how mainstream girl crush concept became
Seohyun, Yuri, and Yoona are actually called the Bermuda Triplets 😂
this is one hour long but why do i feel like its so shorrttt 😭 love you both as always!
we need these weekly!
That was so funny! Thank you for helping me start my day well I love your guys’s energy and humor ❤ Also, Eddy I agree with you XG supremacy all the way! And I also like New Jeans because my ears get a break from the “noise” music! I did like Rush too!
This podcast is giving me life😅
Agreed. I’d say I’m going to take a nap if that’s okay to the taxi driver
i love this podcast so much, i always love listening to you guys and finally yall arent doing much visually so i can just do whatever while listening🎉 i mean i usually watch bunny and cherry and eddies videos multiple times sometimes just listening anyway
guurl i was not ready for that judae mention hhhhhhh ; to give u an insite of troye sivan situation , solo stans attacked him bad , stays did not and in the end of the day there were a collab for rush hhhh
Y’all are literally like my two personalities fighting 😭 my music taste is either catchy & not loud, or has really meaningful lyrics. If one of y’all says something I disagree with, the other one backs me up lmao
Someone recommend me more this kind of podcasts. I love listening these!
living for this podcast
eddy can't cry to songs because he literally said that the lyrics go in one ear and out the other lol
Great podcast Your banter is making me LOL so much! And I've been in a horribly drained mental state today - so thank you! Also. I suspect that Jungkook's solo career might reach into that global pop star stratosphere for the mainstream listener. Let's see how it goes.
The pod keeps getting better!
This was such a great idea loving it 🥹💛
Tear drops on my guitar was my absolute favorite song from Taylor.
yessss we need more~
Nobody:
Eddie: so I work in fashion….
4:12 I felt that lol I had to hide it in middle school because the few people that found out would make fun of me for it
I feel like a mic screwed to the table would be better for you guys. Something to hold on to 😎✨… maybe a tv in the background with a photo you are currently talking about would nice as well. Downer have to be H3 level but yeah… just a suggestion 🙏🏻
Another episode already ?? The content is flowing in !!
eddy is me when it comes to mamamoo fr. defend them with my life
BOYFRIEND TV STAN WE LOVE TO SEE IT
The girls are fightinggg
I bawled my eyes out at Toy Story 3!
I honestly can't get enough of this❤
Not me being confused about the picture in the background. I feel like something isn’t right with the shadow of the door 😂😂
Loved the episode, it got me through my late night work session.
0:06 "dittaur tease* 😍
nawt eddie going up for troye sivan rush 😭😭😭😭😭 that mundane single? mawma you work in fashion 😭😭
my favourite barbaric and nutritionless podcast 😌✨
I can imagine how big Eddie's cap collection is
i'll be waiting for the shanghai vlog omggg
I think the newjeans crowd leaving was just some weird fans trying to flex. But the crowds always do that if there is some time in between sets or if there are different stages. Imagine standing there for hrs for one artist. I would want to go pee tbh.
Alot of ppl are turned off by kpop because the fans try to make it seem like their idol is the center of the world and put down other artists constantly whilst shoving their idol down your throat. Its just annoying.
I love you guys so much ❤ I enjoy so much listening them a lot
changbin is also a producer of stray kids!! :D
