- Ray Allen formerly of the Boston Celtics signed with the Miami Heat for the mini-mid level exception. The deal is approximately 3 years/9 million dollars.
Apparently Ray Allen had some conflict with the Boston Celtics and had been feuding with Rajon Rondo.

The Boston fans loved Ray and for him to go down to play for their rivals the heat after helping Boston win a championship and becoming the best three point shooter ever while he was with Boston shows that him and rondo really weren't getting along.
