It's weird how Lenovo chooses to spec out these models in different regions(both the Ideapad Gaming 3 & Legion Lineups). I'm looking at a listing of a similar Ideapad Gaming 3 in N. America, same model number as well & it has a slightly better CPU & GPU (i7 - 12700H + RTX 3050 Ti compared to i7 - 12650H + RTX 3050) but refresh rate is lower (120Hz) instead of the 165Hz shown in the one from the video. It also has an all white KB backlight instead of the RGB shown here.
Not sure why they do this but all in all, I've always liked how Lenovo offers good value for money in the entry level/budget end of gaming laptops.
Probably based on region and how their sales team prefers to spec it. Like mine came with i5 12450H + RTX 3060 and 16GB ram in dual channel. 16.1” 165hz 350 nits display with 4 zone RGB keyboard.
@@jimmylim85 yeah, it always seems to me like if you're in the Asian region(Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia etc) you get better deals on Lenovo's gaming laptops but I guess it makes sense with Lenovo being a Chinese brand. Like in the example you gave, I would much rather have your config with the slightly "worse" CPU but a way better GPU & better display with the added bonus of an RGB keyboard 😄 And I bet if you were to try & find that spec configuration in NA you probably wouldn't. Any 3060 config would be much more expensive.
@@brxan3096 probably due to logistic distance and cost. These bundles configuration wasn’t found in Lenovo website but came from those e-commerce seller in Shopee / Lazada platform where they give discount and better specs. My specification isn’t available in Lenovo website.

In previous gen 6 models sata ssd can be connect through connector in left but now they removed it in this version

Es una batería CMOS, puedes agregar cinta de doble cara para que se vuelva a pegar. No es gran cosa, simplemente se desprende del adhesivo.

Yeap. Both M.2 slot is Gen4x4 I’ve installed Kingston Fury Renegade 1TB. Speed test getting over 7,000 MB/sec for Read and 6,100MB/sec for write

Would you happen to know if you can swap wifi cards for a wifi 6e card. Say the AX210NGW wifi 6e card Bluetooth 5.2/5.3. I’ve heard people have some issues with wifi connection with the wifi 6 card comes with it. I have the ax210 on Amazon and was thinking of pulling the plug and getting it to put in and hope it helps for wifi range and speeds. Any suggestions would be amazing thank you!

Yes you can swap out the WiFi card with AX210 WiFi 6E as I’ve replace it and install intel WiFi BT driver. Works better.
I have ideapad gaming 3 15ARH7 , amd ryzen 5 6600H, I haven't opened it yet and I have doubts if it supports 32 GB of ram (DDR5) and 2 TB of storage
i have the same model, i think you can upgrade the ram up to 32gb, just make sure the speed is the same. not sure about the storage though.

Just realized there (currently) isn't a way to add SATA memory to this thing. Still waiting for my unit and feeling a bit disappointed already. Not a deal breaker, though. I await the day someone figures out how to do this lol
