I honestly feel like the writers and animation team were trolling us hard with the unknown Shadow Operative. He was in focus just too much during this episode.🤣Anyone else?
I mean he's important because he's one of the few people who is capable of killing a member of the Bad Batch. But I don't think he was really setup for a reveal.
Frankly I had a hard time believing he could be anyone we know. I feel like actual hints would have been dropped otherwise and he would have appeared more times as Hemlock’s living weapon. I like that the Clones get some peace, but I still want to follow Rex, Echo, Emerie, Howzer, Gregor, Chuchi, and eventually Wolffe as they continue to run the Clone Underground. I want to see what led to Rex, Wolffe, and Gregor living on Seelos. Why aren’t Echo and Emerie mentioned in the epilogue? Echo made it clear these characters are still in the fight, likely inspiring Omega to one day join the Rebel Alliance. Alas, this show has felt like a send-off for the Clones so I’m doubtful we’ll ever get Clone-centric stories anytime soon.
@@_MaZTeR_ I don't think this is the last we'll see of the clone narrative. Rex, Cody, Wolffe, Omega, and probably Ventress are all going to make comeback somewhere.
They gunned Hemlock down so hard. 1 hit: he might survive that 5 hits: unlikely, but this is Star Wars. Falls from impossible height: There we go! Stay down!
@@isaackim7675 oh man, can you imagine, 5 blaster holes in him, his entire skeleton broken but he’s still alive, then one of the Batcher dog things finds him.
@@sirts1 In the Bad Batch Season 2, Tech, Episode 3, Mace and Episode 7, Han Solo. But, tbf, those are the only three examples I can think of. Most end up somehow returning haha. I don't see Hemlock coming back but I could see Scorch maybe coming back in some fashion because, as some others have pointed out, when he was shot, his visor stayed lit up instead of fading to black
@@indianajones4321I don’t know but I’m glad Tech didn’t return. His sacrifice had an impact and I wish characters would stay dead. Don’t turn Star Wars into Marvel comics.
Also happy that they didn’t bring back Cyd in some contrived redemption arc like “Reva”. I remember fans telling me “don’t be surprised if they bring her back” but why would you want her back? Like she literally has no redeeming qualities. She may have had remorse for betraying the Bad Batch but it didn’t nullify her actions. And now that the finale is over, it’s even more apparent that she’s not a good person nor meant to be sympathetic.
It's been a while since we've seen an amputation in Star Wars like this though. Sure, Luke and Anakin hold the record for prosthetics (Especially the latter), but I can't remember the last time a character lost a limb in recent Star Wars media
Facts. His mission profile in this episode is exactly the kind of thing ARC's were made for. Alone and outgunned behind enemy lines, but still the biggest threat there. And always a step ahead of the enemy.
He also showed why the writers didn't really use hims as often. He's too competent. That is why he had to join Rex. His skills were wasted on things like delivering nerf nuggets. He showed us exactly what the ARCs were, and they were terrifying. Echo and Omega brought down that base together. All his training and experience, learning from his commanders in the 501st, he passed that on to Omega. She learned so much from all of her brothers, but the skills she used to escape with the other kids and set the Zillo loose were all from Echo. He must be so proud 😢. Echo is the GOAT. Along with Rex lol
@@daredcell9563Clone Force 99 is past its prime. They are injured, physically and emotionally, and lost a vital member of their squad. They also don't have the support and the intel from the Republic anymore. They are not fighting the two-sided Clone Wars, with the help of their brothers diverging attention to open war between systems, they are a 4 to 6 people squad matching up against an Empire with almost unlimited resources, while also being devoid of any kind of help. Their training does not cover running a rebel cell, but being an elite infiltration squad in an army. They are not working behind enemy lines for there aren't any more lines, everything is the Empire.
@pyrosauria7444 I remember Rex saying "he's the ARC trooper", referring to some wild maneuver Echo pulled off. I never understood what he meant, I thought they were equal. Now I know the difference between and ARC trooper and a regular trooper.
Echo absolutely wrecking an entire imperial base and several shadow operatives nearly singlehandedly was amazing. I’m hoping we somehow get an Echo and Rex show
Perhaps Star Wars Tales of the Clones would feature the whereabouts & Activities of Rex, Howzer, and Echo in their own Spin-off Story, and maybe revealing Cody's Fate
I’m so glad they didn’t make one of those shadow agents (or whatever they’re called) turn out to be tech. They already did the “come back to me brother” thing once
Personally, I'm more of the "Schrodinger's Tech" theory camp. Tech's both technically alive and dead as long as we (the audience) aren't shown the body. Sure, we got the goggles, but that's not the same as a body. Anyways, I think something cushioned Tech's fall, but still hit him hard enough on the head to cause amnesia (which would reconcile Tech's hypothetical survival with his absence in this final season).
They screwed themselves with the goggles. I think hemlock should’ve handed hunter techs mangled and badly damaged helmet and when hunter turns the helmet over the goggles are there in the helmet this would show his helmet is so badly damaged no one would’ve survived even with the armour Just showing the goggles while it’s techs main appearance feature leave’s questions like why are they in such good shape if it’s the only thing recovered or his goggles are under/behind his helmet so if the goggles aren’t to banged up what about the helmet or the rest of tech
I'm getting a "parsec" vibe; or more specifically, that it was a small division, not a proper "several brigades forming a division" situation. Think more the 332nd Division or the Vandor Division; units sliced off (you might say divided from) larger units, but not 'proper' Divisions. I mean, it wouldn't make sense to have thousands of troopers at your *secret* military installation. Large enough that hundreds make sense, but we were forming up for any set piece battles
@@Discount_Jesus for the Empire, it’s barely noticeable. But for a top secret research facility where reinforcements would take time to arrive? It matters much, much more.
Never once did the show imply or hint that X-2 was Tech. The fandom just kind of birthed the theory and ran with it. I believe that the speculation, while fun, completely missed the point of what role X-2 actually played in the narrative. He was meant to be Crosshair's foil. He's what Crosshair could have become if he'd continued to remain loyal to the Empire, and this is the end result of that path: mindless, fanatical obedience with all sense of self completely stripped away. The fact X-2 doesn't even receive a name or face should be indicative of how the Empire viewed even these exceptional clones: numbers and assets to be used and discarded as necessary. Whereas Crosshair had his brothers to fall back on, who saw him for who he was, X-2 was largely alone, following orders, and died an ignominious death with no fare. THAT is what would have happened to Crosshair if he kept following the Empire. He would have been reduced to a number and discarded. Like a droid. That was X-2's purpose, and I believe he served that well.
Plus, let's be honest- once a clone's personality was stripped away - barring a bunch of tattoos ala Hunter - how the hell could they have told who the X's were before? CLONES tend to be real frikking similar to each other, especially physically.
Yeah. It was pretty clear that most of this stuff was unrealistic and not going to happen. It was so obvious Tech died last season yet people still expect a comeback. And at no point was the identity of the assassin clone teased.
One of my favourite parts is when an Imperial Star Destroyer is shown for the first time at the end. Truly showing how this really is the Empire as we know it by this point.
@dancingvalkyrie that's exactly why I care about them. The fact that they're Regs, and although nameless, they're still clones, and therefore still heroes.
And greatly delayed Project Necormancer and stopped the Empire from weaponizing the Zilo Beast. The Clones have done the Republic and Jedi proud today and most importantly they have done their brothers proud.
Emerie and echo developed quite the bother/sister bond in such a short time. They made a great team and they never stopped wanting to help others especially their siblings.
I thought they would take the storyline of chopping a hand somewhere. Crosshairs hand shakes, Hemlock wears a glove over that hand, it was the first hand that twitched when wrecker woke up.
@@brprodreal I think that was just the writers showing us how it took days/weeks of torture on crosshair to help Hemlock improve the effectiveness of the conditioning. They deffinitely could've expanded more on Hemlocks hand & that gas he released on the clones.
@@yaraelpoof7242 it was most probably done either a bit as bait or to raise the stakes of the show given clone commandos are pretty strong... either way the show still is centered around tbb so while yes kinda sad he passed like that i care more abt the other characters
I wouldn’t be surprised if Scorch survived considering that Hunter survived a bigger fall in season 1. But neither of those falls are as big as the one that killed Tech.
He has to stay dead if the story is to make any sense. If he's alive why wouldn't he have told Tarkin about the work being done on the mountain to justify keeping the Necromancer project operational? Especially since Palpatine himself wanted the project to proceed under his direct instructions
@ugiustuskeiserus8066 I mean, how much did he know about the specifics? He definitely didn't have the expertise to singlehandedly revive project necromancer. And at that point his word and the empty facility are (hypothetically) all that's left of it
@@ugiustuskeiserus8066 he followed hemlock around all day but he was just a bodyguard. Hemlock himself wasn't even doing the majority of the actual research
It would be the stupidest thing ever to harm the world of entertainment, but I would actually die laughing if we legit got sucker punched with a “somehow Hemlock returned.”
I think Scorch won the official Boba Fett Award: the award you win if everyone thought you were cool and going to be strong and then die like a b*tch. Just like Boba Fett!
That was before Boba Fett was revealed to survive, but yeah, I know you’re saying. I don’t know any of the commando clones. Was he a big guy in like a video game or something?
You nailed it. I will just add one thing that stood out to me. Crosshair had to lose the one thing that he held as his identity in order to, very literally, lean on those loved ones around him - to leave the past trauma behind and save the future of everybody.
That’s what I thought especially given the name of the episode The cavalry, where was the cavalry But then I realised Rex basically lost a majority of his men on Teth The cavalry was the bad batch and the clone they rescued
I think one of the most impactful things about the finale and the whole 3rd season was how they didn’t bring Sid back at all. It really goes to show not everyone has a redemption arch and how Sid really did sell out the bad batch for money and never returned.
Seeing an all grown up Omega head off to join the Rebellion as a fighter pilot was extremely bittersweet. Hopefully she survives throughout the Galactic Civil War, whi knows, she might even play a major role in the New Republic Government or Navy.
@@wordlesslfiddling I'm looking forward to see her again. As well as many other characters whose stories haven't been resolved like Ventress, Cody, and so on, in future series.
@@thomasraines1396 I actually think everything being connect is the greatest streagth of Star Wars, it makes every story feel important and connected instead of disconnected, it all matters, as do all the characters, and I love too see characters from different movies, TV shows, comics, and games all come together and fight, that's one of the reasons I love the finale of the Book of Boba Fett, despite the many flaws with that show. That's also why, while I do think this finale to the Bad Batch is epic, I'm still a little dissapointed it was just the Bad Batch themselves in this final battle without any of the allies they made over the course of the seires, no Rex, Howizer, Phee, Gungi, Ventress, or anyone. It was still great finale, but without the other characters here to help it wasn't perfect like it could have been in my opinion. And it's not just the Bad Batch, Hemlcok could have had more allies from the across frachise, like the rest of the Delta's and not just Scroch and other Legends Clones who would be okay with the Empire's evil acts like Alpha-17. Sstar Wars has such a large pleathor of characters from both Canon and Legends, probably numbering n the five digit range. So I'm always mad with writers don't take advatage of that aand use characters to their fullest. Writers should know who to use every tool in their tool box. Heck, in Kenobi the writers could have had that Clone help Obi-Wan instead of that new character, that guy who pretend to be a Jedi. It would have been so cool for that Clone to have been a surviving 501st or 212th Clone who knew Obi-Wan like Cody or Boil who came back to help Obi-Wan like the good old days.
The title made it seem like this video was going to be another bitching done by someone never satisfied with anything, but i was positively surprised of the content.
With modern day Star Wars talk I was expecting the same. It seems like no matter how loved something is, people will always make videos hating on a show for whatever reason
He used his left hand for shooting with the DC-17 hand blaster, and the right for the Firepuncher, so he was experienced in using both of his hands for shooting, the only difference and difficulty being not the same weapon.
I thought the finale was fine. They definitely could've done a bit more with scorch, but it the reports about this new animated series focusing on the clone network had any life before I think how the series ended gives that some validity
i cried a lot. The meaning of all of their history had a perfect ending. I was so tense the whole episode, i am glad that they had they peace after so many suffering and sacrifice.
Absolutely loved the scene when Rampart was finally blown to bits. Sad Nala Se had to go, but at least she could say Screw You to him for all the audience.
I think it's amazing how they somehow were able to keep tensions so high for so long it there was like 15 minutes left in the episode and I was still like "how tf are they gonna get out of this!"
I don't think there was much he could've done. Scorch told Hemlock they shouldn't send troops after the Zillo Beast because of the upcoming attack. He also wasn't given the opportunity to fight. He went out onto the platform with no cover and no room to move because of Hemlock.
The way I see it, Scorch was conditioned similarly to the other operatives Hemlock was "training". This process completely removed his personality etc.
I’ve noticed with Disney shows and filoni shows that the OCs get treated better then old or og characters Scorch,Luke, anakin, boba, thrawn , and many more. They’re always brought to have a nostalgia hit but never get used well or at all
@@daredcell9563 Well they aren’t main characters. The story is about the Bad Batch. Scorch is there because he’s cool. Not because he’s important to the story. Same with Luke in Mandalorian. I’d argue that Anakin, Thrawn, and Boba got a lot of positive attention and development though in Filoni’s shows. Anakin especially is much better in Clone Wars than he was in the prequels.
Extreme violence was the only options left. And they didn't disappoint! How many times to shows end with Happy endings that seem totally due to plot armor? Man, they EARNED their survival on Tantis. They WENT there to ensure their freedom by eliminating ALL threats to that freedom. It was truly, victory or death! Amazing finale.
The only question this series left me with is what’s up with Hemlock’s hand? He always wears 1 glove and seems to constantly massage that hand, especially in times of stress. Figured maybe it would play into his research or project necromancer somehow but nothing. Wonderful series, will miss it
I love Clone Wars and Rebels, but Bad Batch has become my favorite Star Wars animated series. I give entire series a 10/10 “Good Soldiers love their family” according to Omega
TBF, I feel like they show him being consistently competent. Scorch told Hemlock that sending troops after the Zillo Beast would cause them to be vulnerable. He only died because Hemlock ran out onto that bridge. If he had a better defensive position, he probably could've put up a fight.
@@datguy3581absolutely no reason to use Scorch at all. Wasn’t even the same character. They had absolutely no reason not to name him something different. Why would Trandoshians attack a republic ship, why were there so many?, and honestly the droids in that game, Geonosians, and Trandoshans looked barely like anything out of Star Wars we’ve ever seen. Maybe the Super Battle droids were the exception. But the battle droids were all grey and looked more like Commandos than regulars. Poorly written, poor graphics, frankly the fact it never got a sequel tells you how bad it was apparently. Clone Commandos are cool, Delta squad was cool, but let’s face it the campaign led absolutely nowhere except the beginning of episode 3 and the Battle of Kashyyyk. They even left a man behind. Sure it was supposed to lead into a sequel, but honestly learn to let stuff go. In all my years of gaming I never said anything to guys like you singing the OG games praises and swearing that they were the staples of the franchise, but fuck man I hate when you guys bring up the games and compare them to the show. Is Republican commando cannon? The events? We know Scorch is now so the squad must be. If that’s so where are the other members? Raises too many questions and honestly once order 66 came down even if they hadn’t added the inhibitors they could still be brainwashed, hypnotized, or many other things to compel the clones to turn on the Jedi and serve the Empire. You’re just a nagging little prick and you need to leave shit alone. I hated The Force Unleashed series and do you see me out there ranting about it and how bad it was?! No because I can keep my disrespectful and unprecedented opinions to myself. Star killer was far too powerful to have been cannon because he would make the chosen one prophecy make zero sense. He was more powerful than Vader and Luke. Bro was pulling off overly blown out of proportion acts of violence. I just see it as a failed attempt to make a Star Wars God Of War game and that shit doesn’t belong in Star Wars as there really aren’t any gods. There are Jedi, Sith, Robots, and monsters sure but nothing on the God of war level and so they compensated with outrageous force powers and cutscenes that were meant to appease the average person’s big ego. They’re like “ I’m playing the strongest character alive! I am the new emperor now! Bow to me losers! “ that’s all his games were meant to do. Force powers are powerful, but I don’t think powers on his level would make sense as all force users would be mediocre after him. Making the entirety of the franchise worse. For that reason he must be cast aside and exiled from cannon. Sure it’s a fun play on the story of the rebellion being made by Vader’s apprentice, but it sours a lot of the OT. And don’t get me started on Jedi Academy………. I myself couldn’t bring myself to play that one fully. I just stopped and said “ EA Star Wars Battlefront 2015 here I come “ Now how does it seem relevant that I bring up these games for bad batch? Honestly it isn’t. I just wanted to share my own disrespectful and hater opinions about the games you probably like. I might have said that I hated the story line of Commando, but I never said I hated the Squad though. I do wish Scorch could have been saved or something, but seeing as all the other commandos on Tantiss act like mindless guard dogs like order 66 is still in effect I kinda figured he’d end up dying in a blast if they destroyed the base, dying in a firefight or close quarters fight, or being saved somehow. Unfortunately neither of those happened as he got blasted like that Jedi from the arena in episode 2 when Jango just shot his ass like 3-4 times and fell over the side. Rest in Pieces Scorch. You will be missed. I just learn to accept what’s given and move on. Doesn’t mean I like the last movies either. The Force awakens - The Rise of Skywalker sucked donkey dick. The animation quality of the final showdown where they gun down Hemlock is just next level compared to anything we’ve seen since the clone war animated show era began, and it was such a great way to end it
What an amazing finale. I really thought the entire Batch would die. I'm relieved that they didn't bring back Tech. The episode was extremely intense and brutal for a kids show just like the Clone wars could be. I like that they actually had competent villains for once, the super clones were actually shown to be frightengly effective and they never broke from Hemlocks programming showing how effective his methods were.
There's still one member of the Bad Batch that hasn't retired. Echo. His story is still continuing with helping Rex and the other clones. I really hope they give us at least a mini series showing us what happens to one of our favorite Arc Troopers, even if it means we see him die for the final time.
The thing is, star wars is a literal brutal universe. We have stories of biological weapons wiping out planets, super weapons capable of hitting ships in hyperspace, torture, children dying, booby trapping dead bodies, faking surrender and countless other war crimes that happens
Very surprised they kept Tech dead in this day and age of Loki type characters. Anyone know what happen with Hemlock's hand? I read something about he tested on himself and now his hand is deformed. I really wish they brought back all the popular clones. It would have been awesome to see the capillary of Rex, Cody, Gregor, wolf etc show up and kick butt. Oh well use to being disappointed with star wars for awhile now.
if i remeber correctly in the scene after the battle where we see commandos one of them looks exactly like scorch if you zoom the commandos to see them clearer
If they do a follow up to the show, i hope its about Rex and Echo helping Clones escape the Empire, we still didn't see Wolff in the ending so we dont know how he met up with Rex yet.
Personally, would love to see Omega return, either as a main character who's experience gives her more room to grow or encourage others to do the same, as a side character, or even just a cameo. Would love to hear the callsign "Havoc-5" come in over rebel comms in the future. Either way, it's great to know that she went out there and kept on fighting. I'm currently going back through The Clone Wars with someone who's never seen it before, and after we're done with that, The Bad Batch will be next. It's been a joy watching this series myself, and I can't wait to get to it with them, too.
I'm doing the exact same thing, I recently moved in with my best friend and they've never seen much Star Wars outside of the films and The Mandalorian/Ahsoka, although they really like most of those. Currently in Season 2 or 3 of TCW with them after showing them the 2008 CW movie, then on to BB. I'm super excited for them to see it. This was a pretty good finale but unfortunately left so many questions unanswered: 1) They put a big emphasis on that specific Shadow Clone. Maybe he was supposed to be Tech or what fans believed was a clone of Crosshair, yet we never find out 2) What were they planning to do with the Zillo beast? Tech said in S2 that this went pretty deep but nothing came of it. 3) Remember when the one Shadow Trooper called Crosshair “brother” like Crosshair was hiding something? That went nowhere
1) CX-2 was just an analogy for what Crosshair was and could have become under the empire. The show never hinted that he was anything more, you lot just can't accept new characters. 2) They explained what they wanted the Zillo beast for in the clone wars 3) CX-1 only called Crosshair brother because Hemlock tried to make him into an operative and because he wanted the other clones to doubt Crosshair. None of these are unanswered questions.
I cant ignore how the Empire invaded Pabu, knowing Omega and the batch have been hiding there, and then just leaves?????? So the team is able to return there and have their happy ending? It doenst make sense, its not like the Empire is one to leave planets alone. Finale was going great until that, I was really hoping another member (if not all of them) to die since it doesnt really fit that they dont show up in the Rebellion later. Rex has fought way more than them and he's still going at it
The reason they were able to continue hiding there is because the operatives that tracked Omega down were from Tantiss, and the base and its data were destroyed.
@@Alex-sv7vt This. They'd have to basically comb the whole galaxy over again to find them as all the relevant information pertaining to everything that already happened was destroyed. Also Project Necromancer was shut down personally by Tarkin because it wasted so many resources for nothing. He's certainly not going to allow the wastage of even more resources sending out countless more operatives and probes to find a person they don't even need now, for a project that is no longer in operation. I was a little thrown off at first too until I actually thought about it. The Empire simply has more important things to focus on now, especially with Project Stardust ramping up.
@@agustinfigueroa3239Considering the top level secrecy over Project Necromancer (with everyone from Tantiss being connected to it & Omega being a key component for it), wouldn’t be surprised if it was only those Imperial forces from Tantiss who knew of Pabu hosting rogue clones. Plus with Tarkin (who didn’t know the full scale of the project) shutting the base down and pulling the project’s funding for “Stardust”/The Death Star, seems like the Empire had no official reason to ever go back to Pabu.
Normally, the way Disney treats its stories, I’d agree and say that it wouldn’t make sense for them not to show up, but I actually don’t think that. I think that the bad batch were properly developed enough for it to make sense for them not to want to fight anymore. They already fought a brutal war and have trauma with the empire. Tech’s death and crosshairs story arc for example. I believe it when they tell us that the bad batch don’t want to fight anymore
The ending honestly made me cry, I wish we could see omega be a pilot in the rebellion, what if Rex and Hera cross paths with omega, that would be cool to see.
My favorite part was how Echo was the MVP of clones breaking out, hit his targets every single time taking out Shadow Troopers with ease. I like the show reminding us all why he is still an Arc Trooper at heart and mind and skill
@@Alex-sv7vt I watched that video from 11 months ago, absolutely loved it, I need more! And interesting to see how much George’s philosophy lines up with my own. Not sure if that’s the result of how I was raised, or the result of just watching Star Wars growing up 😂

I’m just glad that the remaining Bad Batchers survived the assault on Tantiss. It’s just a darn shame that Rex’s squad didn’t appeared to help rescue the captured Clones
My biggest issue with the show as a whole is it had too many loose threads. TCW was an anthology series, so leaving things open ended was fine, but this is a streamline linear story. If you're gonna introduce things or characters, you have to follow through or else it'll feel unsatisfying. Scorch and Cody feel so wasted, along with many of the new and returning clones we see. The commandos being turned into glorified grunts was the most heartbreaking, given that previous depictions always made sure to show that they're FAR above even the clone commanders of the GAR. Lots of good ideas and episodes, but it feels hollow given we don't get a conclusion to even half of the many characters and plot threads introduced. Also sad we didn't get an actual clone rebellion, given all of Rex's crew were wiped out in one evening lol.
I agree. Wolffe, Cody and the whole mystery of the CX-2 trooper being pushed aside really bothered me. You build up so much hype with returning characters like Asajj, Cody, Wolffe, Gregor, Scorch and just use them for minor roles. Especially Scorch who was just a messager who went out without a fight in the end. They must have a new show lined up to close the open ties.
I think the reality is that the commandos were never going to be as impressive on screen because they aren't video game characters anymore. Being a well trained soldier with skills does not make someone invulnerable realistically. I don't think a clone rebellion was coming. I think the point of the clone network was to get clones out of the Empire's grasp which is what they did in the final episode.
The clone commandos you are talking about were fighting against the Bad Batch... Literally the best clone commandos created. DUH the bad batch out classes them
@@OutOfIdeas9977 I know, but I really came to love tech, I would have prefered any other bad batch member to die instead honestly. I was keen on him since S7 of TCW. Yeah I thought for sure they'd somehow contact Rex for reinforcements. But I think they've just been kinda teasing and blue balling us with Rex in this show. Getting us keen for a coming show that has a lot more of him and Echo in it. And probably Wolffe and *possibly* Cody. That's where we'll see the real clone rebellion, if we do.
There were defintely some problems in this show and u pointed it our perfectly. Hopefully there is another story abt Ventress, Rex and Cody like you said. I still loved this show though (especially finale)
If the Book of Bobba Fett hadn't been panned, it would have been nice to see Omega meet up with her other Brother, as they'd both be about the same age. Maybe we'll see that in one of the spin offs, or we'll get an Omega series where she needs help at some point from the criminal underworld and who best to see but Bobba.
Omega is a very heart and spirit of the entire Star Wars enterprise. The show was fantastic. Why is that? Because omega represents everything that we love about the entire Star Trek series and frankly this show with animated characters actually was better than someone’s live action with real actors, that’s how well it was done. It was amazing, and I think it points to how the shows with real people need to go forward strangely enough, the writing, the animation the depth of the show actually is a guiding light for all the live actors series
During the time jump before leaving to join the rebellion, Omega told Hunter to take care of Crosshair and Wrecker. She did not mention Echo’s name, possibly hinting that Echo is probably dead at some point in the future. Even though Echo left to meet with Senator Chuchi, his fate isn't exactly confirmed after that.
I honestly feel like the writers and animation team were trolling us hard with the unknown Shadow Operative. He was in focus just too much during this episode.🤣Anyone else?
I feel ya, man. But at least we did get a satisfactory ending for the heroes. As well as many several reg Clones being Liberated, eh? :)
To me, feel like they planned to do more, but Disney cut the funding and they just had to do something

Echo showed why he's an Arc Trooper and not a commando like the rest. I think this is the most action we've seen him in since the Clone Wars.

Sure, we got the goggles, but that's not the same as a body.
Extremely well put!
Crosshair never should have been redeemed in the first place

Scorch was given the short end of the stick.

The thing is, star wars is a literal brutal universe. We have stories of biological weapons wiping out planets, super weapons capable of hitting ships in hyperspace, torture, children dying, booby trapping dead bodies, faking surrender and countless other war crimes that happens

The finale, just like the entire show, was epic. Dave Filoni did an amazing job.

Gotta slip Genndy's 2003 Clone Wars in there somewhere too, obviously.
And when I finally get another PlayStation I'll give them the full Battlefront experience.
@@CryptidRenfriI think Star Wars Republic comics are a worthy entry too. You can probably read them online.
@@darthmaul4773 yeah I've never read many comics outside of ones I could find in public libraries as a kid, I never had the money to buy them back then and I'm not really sure I can get into them now. Just not really my preferred media. There's not enough verbal/written information to keep my brain busy with, if that makes sense.
Anything I can't watch or read in an actual book, I go to Wookieepedia for, I'm familiar with most older SW comic storylines and events through that. I haven't caught up on many of the new ones yet though. I just like lots of words over fewer words when reading I guess aha.
@@darthmaul4773 although my friend is a much slower reader than I am so they'd probably actually really enjoy the comics, so I'll try and find some for them 🙂
She’s a boring character on her own.
Can't way for Tales of the Empire to have another Order 66 scene.
The finale dropped? It's only like 5am on thursday here, normally they dont drop till later in the afternoon in my experience
Brb, going to watch now lmao
It's out on Disney Plus now, I watched it early this morning
I’m so Sad to not see the little baby alien reunite with his mother 😢
Wasn't confirmed that the clones died by the gas, just knocked out like Crosshair was in Season 2.
This was a pretty good finale but unfortunately left so many questions unanswered:
1) They put a big emphasis on that specific Shadow Clone. Maybe he was supposed to be Tech or what fans believed was a clone of Crosshair, yet we never find out
2) What were they planning to do with the Zillo beast? Tech said in S2 that this went pretty deep but nothing came of it.
3) Remember when the one Shadow Trooper called Crosshair “brother” like Crosshair was hiding something? That went nowhere
Or was hemlock patient zero for his experiments? It's pretty obvious he was, but a confirmation would have been nice
1) CX-2 was just an analogy for what Crosshair was and could have become under the empire. The show never hinted that he was anything more, you lot just can't accept new characters.
2) They explained what they wanted the Zillo beast for in the clone wars
3) CX-1 only called Crosshair brother because Hemlock tried to make him into an operative and because he wanted the other clones to doubt Crosshair.
@@Alex-sv7vtIt doesn't change that the empire invaded the planet but then just left it for some reason
So happy it wasn’t tech or anyone we know. This is peak Star Wars, this is the future of Star Wars.
The ending honestly made me cry, I wish we could see omega be a pilot in the rebellion, what if Rex and Hera cross paths with omega, that would be cool to see.
It's been a good run. For one final time brothers and sisters, FOR THE REPUBLIC! FOR OUR BROTHERS! FOR OUR FAMILY!
For the Republic!!!! You will not be forgotten bb
Some of the kills in the finale were brutal lol
My favorite part was how Echo was the MVP of clones breaking out, hit his targets every single time taking out Shadow Troopers with ease. I like the show reminding us all why he is still an Arc Trooper at heart and mind and skill
I was expecting the main assassin clone to be Cody. Thought that after they killed him they would find out.
On the light side, can you make an in depth video on your “why 99% of Star wars fans don’t understand the force” video? More on George’s philosophy
A related video is coming out soon delving deeper into the meaning of the Light and Dark side. Stay tuned. :)
@@Alex-sv7vt I watched that video from 11 months ago, absolutely loved it, I need more! And interesting to see how much George’s philosophy lines up with my own. Not sure if that’s the result of how I was raised, or the result of just watching Star Wars growing up 😂

Could you please make a video on the ecosystem of Dathomir
I’m just glad that Echo survived to the end of the clone wars. The last member of domino squad to do so.
I’m just glad that the remaining Bad Batchers survived the assault on Tantiss. It’s just a darn shame that Rex’s squad didn’t appeared to help rescue the captured Clones
Beautifully said!
scorch got done dirty :/
6:38 Nala Se said "I am Jamar, I come from afar, ALLUHA AKBAR"
DUH the bad batch out classes them
I hope Omega and Hera got to reunite in the Rebellion after meeting each other as kids. Definitely part of my head canon.
Extremely sad that Tech is actually dead
Dang, you are the exact opposite of the majority of the Star Wars community
@@OutOfIdeas9977 I know, but I really came to love tech, I would have prefered any other bad batch member to die instead honestly. I was keen on him since S7 of TCW. Glad his sacrifice it's true, but if he was alive and being experimented on i don't really think it would take as from he's sacrifice. Similar to what happened with echo

Can’t believe Echo is the same guy that we saw early on in domino squad all the way thru to the end of bad batch. That made me emotional too.

They said wed be getting a clone rebellion but all we got was a clone jail break unfortunately was hoping to see rex and cody break out imprisoned clones but sadly that never happened maybe in the future show. Over all i thought it was a interesting send off was surprised no one died besides the villians of course was also nice to see a older hunter and omega. Such a shame they brought ventruss back only for her to be in one episode and than never say how she came back
I think we will see one later on. They haven’t resolved everything yet, and Wolffe hasn’t defected yet.

I sorta wish they used scorch for more than just a middle mangier but the rest was good

Why were the clone commandos kept but troopers weren’t?
They’re exhausting the last remaining commandos for clandestine and high priority projects.
No closure on Sid’s betrayal.
References to the accursed sequels.
No explanation what they needed the Zillo beast for in cloning.
