🤔 . . . There are a number of things that I want a good general understanding of. Primarily things such as food, for one; everyone needs it to live, but the price can vary for various reasons. And this is something that I would like to see as a starting point for the rest. Durasteel, Plastoid, & Doonium, for starters…
Actually a few khyber crystals did go into the open market just the Jedi were really quick in getting them off the market in a hurry. Hondo did acquire a few but they were taken by obi wan kenobi.
You should make a video on why do the lightsabers not pass through the beskscar spear from the mandalorian, since even though it shouldn't be damaged that should mean that the lightsaber should technically pass right through it and skewer the person behind it since it doesn't have the same electromagnetic field that a lightsaber I believe has
I remember that a bacta tank like in 7:33 with 1.5 meter in diameter and 2.5 meters in height can hold 4,417 liters of fluid that about 440,000 credits to fill a tank.
@@AlessandroRodriguez Well, bacta can be re-used numerous times, so it's not disposable. Patients come into the tanks clean, so the bacta stays clean as well.
I played a play-by-post RPG where Thyferra was a war theater, but neither side acknowledged bacta as being the reason for even picking that theater in the first place... the way that theater played out, it would essentially have happened the same on, say, Haruun Kal...
Really these materials should have been used after thousands of years of used, and considering how rare they were they used have been researched for reusable recycling materials, or there should have been a lot of other substitutes metals out there that could mimic beskar.
What? They are everywhere, on all channels. You can report them and i think yt removes em after a while, or they just get burried, but a creator cant really do much about it
I think Coaxium was a bigger part of the failure of the Solo movie than it's given credit for. It's a plot macguffin, first and foremost, but they both spend too much time explaining it, and underbake the explanation, and the amounts and properties stated both trip over suspension of disbelief. It just ends up this big stinking egg in the middle of the story.
They output more energy than the initial input. They are energy multipliers, the most physics breaking thing that could be and they use them to make glowsticks, aaaaaaaahhhhhh!!!
What do u even mean by "spice in general"? The word is roughly meaning "drug"' rather than a certain type of drug. It can't b given a single rank as if we speak about a substance, only varying in purity. U also could put a cup of gasoline in one rank with cocaine of the same weight since both r used as drugs. Andrys isn't glitterstim, to keep it topical.
One statement ruined this otherwise fine video, making it fall far short of your usual standard. 1 gram of Beskar is worth about 20,000 credits (alleging that this is more than many ships cost is BS/STUPID, & devalues this estimate). Civilian vehicles range 1,000-20,000 credits, starfighters 40,000-120,000, shuttles 80,000 & up, light freighters 100,000-200,000. i can only presume something had you severely off your game when you put that bit together.

Well if we are only doing canon, then the most valuable thing in Disney’s Star War universe is Rey Palpatine since she getting a 2nd sequel trilogy. Obviously they just can’t get enough of her, even if nobody else wants her 😂
I really doubt that lol. Daisy Ridley seemed to despise being in that horrible trilogy and I doubt she'd agree to a second one. Even the actress doesn't want to play her 😂
so how mutch of the substance is needed to power a ship in canon? afther all a ship that is capable of traveling in hyperspace is not that expensive so a price of 60 000 000 kredit for 100 mg sounds realy strange when you might get a ship for 20 000. it seems to need like 0.1-0.01 mg of the material. is it something that never need to be added aigen or how is that. the prices dont add up for me.
If bacta could regrow bones etc why not have Anakin soak in the bacta tank until fully healed even if it required several sessions. It isn't like the Emperor couldn't have supplied the needed bacta.
Anakin or Vader has his own tank in his meditation chamber the bacta can't fully heal his Burns and bacta tanks can't grow back limbs if it could nobody would get a robotic arm like Anakin and Luke and armor could be upgraded to feel more comfortable in painless buddy wants the pain and he wants to suffering to make him stronger in the dark side
Firstly, nobody would yell anything about a SGT being anywhere like he's an admiral... secondly... there are no sergeants in the navy where they would be shouting that when the captain or an admiral enter. I might be wrong but just sounds weird. Great channel though
I can’t help but notice the one thing forgotten on this list: A planet without sand
Lol😂
It's because it doesn't exist
Now I have that Anakin quote from Episode 2 about Sand
This doesnt surprise me considering dune inspired most of modern sci-fi.
Lol what are you talking about they said mandalore in Concordia they're not desert whatsoever mandalore the Empire bombed it so bad turn into glass
I would have thought Kortosis would have been given an honorable mention.
Not in Canon
@@EdaugEthanbYT yeh they mention it in clone wars a bit
yeah my 2 first immediate guesses were beskar and cortosis

It's only a couple of minutes since the video released and there's a bunch of bots in the comments 💀
But overall, very insightful video.

3:57 clearly, in canon, Moff Gideon did learn to make Beskar Armor.
No Adegan or Stygian crystals?
Grand Moff Regus is very grumpy.
He ruled out cyber crystals and their cousins in the beginning of the video.
I love the star wars universe it is so fascinating and so in advance and interesting
I was thinking about Cortosis/Phrik, and Electrum. I wonder where they fit in.
Definitely not in Disney shitty canon
I was not convinced by “at least that’s what the internet tells us”
space oil :D
That’s just crude
😂😂😂
@@Lawrence_Talbot That's just some *raw* stuff you said there.
For reference to all of the costs in credits, according to Wookiepeedia a Venator costs about 59million credits
so you could buy 10 venators just for 1 gram of coaxium
There’s also that one crop that Hondo wanted that one time

Great video. My favorite source of Star Wars info. Keep up the great work!
This is cool, most sw vids focus on the force users, but the economics politics and culture are also interesting

Given the price of a single Bacta Tank, can see why people still use Kolto stims
Guessing bacta ?
Before the list starts, midichlorians.
I might have found a bit of a mistake on this video.
Kyber crystals aren't power sources they help channel and control energy.

If bacta was really that good why didn't vader just sit in a bacta tank for a while and regrow his limbs and heal his burns and shit after mustafar.
But Bacta couldn't heal Darth Vader
