I really enjoy your history lessons. Heck, I would enjoy listening to you talk about paint drying. There is nothing like a natural swimming hole on a hot day.
Enjoyed that. Great combination of information you found, video from the ground and air! Keep it up. I love that you don't need a truck or an RV to travel and get to know the place your at.
Good day , Stan . I am enjoying the little side trips you are doing for the videos .As a former resident of Texas these places you are taking for us helps me see some things I missed while living there . Thank You . 👍👍😊✌
Interesting story Stan, my home town of Buxton, Derbyshire (UK) was and still is a mineral water town and back in the victorian times had the same type of people visiting. They visited from all over the country and Europe to sit in the mineral wells/spas and experience the "fresh air" of a countryside town. nice to see the same happened in the US too!
Your video was short but very informative. I like the drone footage and your off screen narration. Glen Rose seems like a nice place to visit. If I lived there way back when, I would have told the clan's chief to trade me. "You better trade me...I'm tired of living in this teepee and I ain't movin to a rez in the Indian territories. Just trade me to a wealthy Texas rancher...just as long as he bathes and shaves daily, I'm cool with it!" 👸🏽
Another good video. We would go through Glen Rose on the way to the deer lease. Beautiful country! Plus I always remember people/Dallas news always talking about Comanche Peak in the 80’s and 90’s.
I liked the video. I am planning a trip there. I live near Austin so it isn't terribly far. I waited a couple of days before giving feedback. The only suggestion I have is to try to sound like you are president of the "Glen Rose Visitors Center". If it is good enough to share, try to stay excited about it. Was that your drone footage? As you do it a few times, you will get better at it. If you stayed there a couple of days, personal footage of your room or you swimming in the river or canoeing would be interesting.
That courthouse should've' been converted to a church after the first fire...maybe it would've had a little more "luck"....Side Note: Like the series you are doing :)
That's another good video, Stan. I have one or two questions. Were those your drone shots? I am not sure I have seen any drone usage in any of your videos. Glen Rose looks like a Texas town I would enjoy seeing.

Thanks for the history lesson, Stan. When I was 6 years old in 1961, we visited my grandparents who were living in Glen Rose.

The Local Coyote is a great place to ride to just west of town. Great food, cold drinks, live concerts (normally not sure during this ‘Rona stuff).
Never know what you find when you start researching a town. 👍☕️🍀
Go to Hico,Tx The legend of Billy the Kid lives on in Hico

Thanks for the video but I want to ask, you kept saying 'we'? Who's 'we'?
I would assume it is Pam, his girlfriend.
Us. You know, you the viewer and me.
@@280zone See, never 'assume', better to know for sure but...
Yes I was there....so it’s US.

Where's the nearest Walmart?
Not going anywhere near the dinosaur tracks. Probably a good choice.
Glen Rose also has a great open air play: thepromiseglenrose.com I went many, many years ago back after it first opened.
