I d sooner hear about John Robins.He s a much more complex character than Jon Richardson who seems entirely sensible.They are both classic comedians following on from Tony Hancock who made misery funny .John Robins beats Jon Richardson hands down for misery/happy

What I love about British shows like this is nobody in the comments questions that Suzie and Alan Carr wear the same dress. That's just the way it is.

It's fun knowing that if you pointed out to Jon that "The Spanish Language" could simply have been "Spanish" it would genuinely annoy him.
The other comedians the two Jo(h)n's used to live with included Russell Howard too. There was another person living with them, but I can't remember who they were, but going by Jon and Russells old podcasts, it's sounded like they had a whale of a time

Jon Richardson, John Robins, Russell Howard, and Mark Olver lived in a flat in Bristol at the beginnings of their careers - it's well documented by the four of them.
I think they directed each other into jobs--replacements, openings, recommendations. I heard that on some documentary or talk show. So maybe not coincidence entirely, but good support among friends.
Well it’s the same thing with Adam Sandler and Rob Schneider, etc they’re all in each other’s movies. I don’t think they lived together though I think they went to school together or something

Is there some sort of trouble behind the scenes between Sean and Jon? They are hardly on the same show together as captains. If one is there, the other team will have a guest captain.
Probably just the way scheduling fits in with other commitments
I think they're just missing a lot, and maybe they try to schedule it so they're not both missing at the same time. To try not to have two guest captains. We now know Sean Lock was pretty sick for many years. And Jon probably just had other work.
