      Hey David. What size tires are you running? Also, do you have a 2 or 4 dr? I just purchased this kit and run 33s on my 2 dr 2018 JK.

    Comment about putting on those rear bump stop cups at the 40 minute mark and using the blocks of wood + pole jacks to compress them in. Be VERY careful doing this. I noticed (almost too late) that I was pushing so hard on it that it was lifting the rear of my Jeep off of the Lift and tilting it forward!!!! I'm not sure how close I was, but it is very possible my Jeep could have tilted forward off of the lift and taken a nose dive to the ground!!! This was very concerning and I think it is only an issue in the back due to the weight of the engine in the front.
    To press those cups on (they are a PITA), we actually supported the rear axle with a ratchet strap to the rear frame, removed the pole stands, lowered the lift almost to the ground, supported the front Axle with jack stands (you could put the front tires on instead), and used a floor jack + the blocks of wood to press it in. It was STILL difficult to press these in and me and my buddy got on the rear bumper and jounced it up and down to get it to pop in. We used a crapload of PB Blaster on the other side and it popped in easier, but these things were tough.
    Just be careful with this step. The short wheel base of the 2 door Jeeps don't give a lot of area to support it on the lift, so you don't have a great center of gravity.

      Should say that the video was very helpful in putting the lift on. Make it a lot easier to visual everything. I am very happy with the lift + my 35" tires and 18" wheels. It looks sharp and this kit is quality.

    Great job, very detailed and informative. Are the bushings in the control arms and tracbar rubber or polyurethane with this lift? IYO which is better? Thank you

    Hi! I have a 2017 2 door jeep wrangler my question is what kind of leveling kit should i get? & i intend on getting 33in tires iam running 265/70/17 bf goodrich a/t now whats a good set up for my jeep? Thank you

    • @extremeterrain
      @extremeterrain  4 года назад

      Hey there! I'd highly recommend looking into Teraflex's Leveling Kit if you're looking at staying mainly on the road and just want to fit a larger tire size. Their kit will lift your Jeep around 2" in the front, and 1" in the rear, and will let you easily fit a 33" tire if you decide to go a little bit bigger. -Zach

      Not an optical illusion, lol! This still does have a little rake to the front end but not as much from factory.

    Horrible comparison video. You can clearly see the row of bricks in each shot behind the Jeep are not in the same spot. This makes comparisons totally mute. Get a dedicated camera on a tripod and don’t touch it other than to take a photo. Mark where your tires were. What idi*t did these pictures, all moving the camera around and zooming back n forth, thinking that was a good idea for a comparison? 🤦🏼‍♂️
