The recoil system is insufficient for heavy loads. So I replaced it with a Morgan pad. I like the results. When you remove the trigger group there is a stiff wire that encircles the group at the top. Its only finction is to activate the safety. It is easy to remove which gives you the safety on demand. Mine is now an ideal gun for me.
A very thorough review - pity the “actual” weight wasn’t mentioned but otherwise this guy does a great presentation - certainly more factual and detailed than some of the reviews we get this side of the pond. 🇺🇸🇬🇧
Another great video. Would really like to see you do a video on mid-range over unders for clays. High end is clear, but what works well and has a good reputation in the $3-6k range. CG and Beretta especially. I really like over unders but the lack of ease to adjust the fit without a custom stock compared to semi's keeps me on the fence for a new clays OU.
I have the silver model in 20ga, and it is truly absolutely beautiful of a gun. And I had an experience any of the issues that other people are having a Via tractors or the rib. But I wouldn’t trust this gun till last 10 years the material is very soft on the receiver, and I already have a little gouge marks just from opening the action on the top I’m gonna sell it and get a nether silver pigeon.

You may disable automatic safety by removing a little part that doesn't even come with all 828U models
You have to squeeze the forend and barrels together to facilitate easier pressing of the takedown pin.
Per the instruction manual...
So if I buy a right hand used is it easy to adjust it to a left hand shooter?
As long as you get the shim kit that it came with, then changing to left-handed cast will be very easy.
Yes as long as the shims and locking plates are still in the box then you can adjust it to fit. You'll change the cast from 'DX' to 'SX'.
To remove the forearm squeeze it and the button will push easier.
